My alternator went out yesterday 2/28/24 and left me stranded in a parking lot.I called S&J and the girl that I spoke with was great and helped me figure out how to share my location for the driver to find me. The driver arrived to me in less than 15 minutes. I was able to ride with him and my vehicle. Wonderful people and great service.

As an owner operator of a dump truck, it is extremely difficult to profit your first year. Well today I had my first breakdown and it was absolutely terrifying, but I made a call to s and j towing And within 20 minutes, I had a tow truck hooked up to my dump truck to tow it to Where it needed to be towed.. but not only did it get towed to where we could actually look at the truck the tow truck Helped me get the truck back running and I was actually able to finish my day working. Even though it was a little bit of an inconvenience for them to help me out He was very kind and never made me feel as if I was a burden. And their service was very affordable and very appreciated. Would recommend this company any day of the week.

I had a flat tire at home. Geico dispatched S & J out to change my tire. They arrived quickly, changed the tire out for me and was finished in no time. Very fast and professional!

My experience with S&J towing was deeply disappointing and troubling. The tow truck operator, Calvin, displayed extreme rudeness and carelessness when towing my car. The dispatch team was unhelpful, and upon reaching S&J, owner Sean Leslie Wood exhibited shocking racism, attempting to undermine me and refusing to release my car without valid reason. Despite dispatch indicating I could retrieve my vehicle, Wood abused his power, creating a threatening atmosphere. The overall unprofessionalism was further evident as they failed to locate my invoice during the pickup process the next morning. I strongly advise steering clear of this family-owned business due to their unacceptable behavior.

Great dispatch, helpful drivers and fair pricing. S&J towed my vehicle locally and then a longer distance and they were efficient, friendly and very helpful. S&J is hands down the best towing company in Athens. I was in need of a tow and dispatch told me someone would be there as soon as they can. I ve been calling since 07/22 to try to get in contact with a manager regarding my windshield being cracked from an object flying off of truck number 86. Brittany was nice on the phone but every time I called she said that the manager was busy and that she will resend a email with my concerns to the manager. It is now September and I have not been contacted back.

The people of this company are very rude. When I put my truck in the gas station and got coffee, they towed my truck. Dirty is a stupid person. Do not use this company. Faking crazy Company. People do not work with this company!!!!

William was so kind, patient, and helpful. Truly a lifesaver. Absolutely represented his company with the utmost care and professionalism. He arrived so quickly and did everything he could to make the situation better. Being stranded on the side of the road is never ideal, but William as an absolute hero. Can t express enough how thankful I am for his help today.

Progressive provided me with S&J s services through their Roadside Assistance program and I just have to say that Calvin was awesome! He arrived very quickly, was super friendly and helpful and I felt safe with my vehicle in his possession. Even in the freezing rain late in the evening Calvin had a smile on his face ready willing to help. :)Service: Car towing

Contacted this company for a tow recently. Firstly, they dispatched me a driver VERY fast, tow truck arrived 15 mins later. Calvin got my car safely unto his truck and we drove off. He was kind and patient. Finally he dropped my car off in one piece! THEN help me align it perfectly into a parking spot by pushing my car. 5/5 service.. if all their drivers are like Calvin, you re in good hands!Service: Car towing

*I really hope that s his name* Red came out to two me after my alternator went out, he was extremely friendly quick service.He came out extremely fast helped ease the tension between my boyfriend and I and a couple of beggers, loaded my car up and then as Adam and I hopped into his cab he made great conversation about various topics. Made sure to clear it that there was nothing that would get hurt as he was dropping my car off and continued the conversation. I would happily use him again!Service: Car towing

I haven't called this company for a tow but I did have to call to let them know that one of their drivers was driving very unsafe. Going over 70 in a 55. Riding the tail of my car very dangerously and I had 2 small children in the car with me. When I called, the lady on the other end apologized and said that truck was rushing to get to a call. I've been stranded waiting on a tow so I can appreciate the quickness but this was dangerous driving. So I guess if your looking for a tow truck that'll get there quickly, this would be your company to call, as long as they themselves didn't cause an accident on the way

My corvette shut down on me and I used my AAA to have it towed. So they dispatched this company and I honestly can say the gentleman that came out tonight was completely professional and educated me on the whole towing if a low profile sports car with out the use of a flatbed . I highly recommend this company for any if your towing needs. And it was great to find out we both lived in the same area of florida.Service: Car towing

Calvin towed my vehicle recently and went above and beyond. He found another nearby tire shop when the first one we went to could not repair my tire. He stayed with me to make sure the tire could be repaired. His quick thinking saved me $300! This business was a Godsend. After having fits with AAA roadside customer care and a 5+ hour wait, I took matters into my own hands and called S&J for service and got an ETA from them. Called with a flat tire after midnight. An actual person answered the phone, and immediately connected me with a driver out on the field. Within 20 minutes time, Adam had plugged my tire and kindly made sure I was all set. Price was incredibly reasonable for the time, efficiency, and professionalism that I experienced. These guys are first class!! Also the rig is massive and lights up green, what more could you ask for?

We had a breakdown in late December while on a trip. Our roadside service told us no available tow trucks near us. Sadly someone else had broke down near us as well and we saw the S and J truck, took a chance and asked driver if they could help us he said most definitely gave us dispatch number. After a few calls between dispatch and my roadside service we had a truck on the way! Communication was excellent from dispatch to the driver. Our breakdown happened in Greensboro, Ga so we did have to pay some extra but we were having car towed to Athens anyway. Thank you for great service!Service: Car towing

After I blew out my tire while turning on my street, they were able to come and fix my tire in under 5 minutes after arriving! The front desk receptionist was very kind, and she reassured me that she would send someone to fix my tire as soon as possible. I appreciate the staff s kindness during the whole process! 10/10 recommended this company!

We have had the same car towed twice this week. When it stalled in a very unsafe area of traffic, I was especially grateful for the prompt response time. We later had to tow to a second location. Again, we had the same super prompt, courteous service and great communication. I felt safe throughout the process each time and felt that they did a great job towing my car (because I know what a really bad job looks like.).Service: Car towing

My experience with the State Farm automated service was not great, but the service I received from S&J was by FAR the best I have ever received from any tow company. Stephen was extremely knowledgeable, professional and curious. He made this experience easy, and trouble free. Way to go S&J and Stephen! We went in to eat and came out and our car was dead. We saw a kind man and woman walking out and asked them for help and they were more than happy to help us! Turns out they were the owners of this business! These are very kind people! They even had a crew member come out and jump our car off once the regular jumping cables wouldn t do the trick.
