Danny and Jamie are the best!! 10/10 experience! They truly care for this community and get straight to work. I recommend coming to them for anything! For my college students, this is the place to be. They are just a bundle of joy and provide UGA students discount also!

So unfortunately for me I found myself in the need of a new clutch. I reached out initially by email for a quote. They were very responsive and professional. They got back to me quickly (so quickly that it was before I could tell my husband.) I spoke with several other places but decided to go with Pro transmission after I experienced how rude and unprofessional other shops were. As a woman they answered every question without getting frustrated with me. Also once I arrived with my vehicle they were able to rework numbers and it was even cheaper than the first quote.Also when they were repairing my car they found a few issues that needed attention. They brought it to me quickly and gave me an affordable quote for that as well. For which I am grateful.The service was done quickly and returned within 3 business days!!!So let's just say they were professional and quick!I will bring all vehicles here going forward and I will tell anyone and everyone to bring their cars there.

We towed our 95 jeep wrangler this week from another shop bc we were having transmission issues. The other shop had fixed an issue a couple years before, but didn t address other issues within (costing us more money in the long run). These guys were super nice and informative, making us aware of another failing element, and fixed it for a very reasonable price. 10/10 recommend. Thanks, y all!

I've been coming here for the last couple of years anytime I have car problems. Danny am Jamie are the best an I recommend anyone I know to come here. The service is always an 10 out of 10 an they literally can fix anything!

I have spend literally thousands of dollars over the last 3 months fixing my 2 older vehicles and I couldn't be happier. They always work with your schedule and are pretty accurate on giving a proper turn around time. Danny is great and he's practically rebuild two rear ends for me. He's thorough in explaining what's wrong, what needs replacing, and what can wait. They're honest and always willing to also test drive my vehicles whenever to ease any worries. Awesome all the way around, I will continue to bring my big projects to them.

I was visiting Athens and had an issue with my van going into "limp mode". They were able to get me in on the same day and help me diagnose the problem which was much less serious than I thought it would be and I was back on the road. As a solo female traveler, I appreciated their honesty and felt they were welcoming and trustworthy. Thanks again!

Danny was super helpful with my car inspection I got done on 1/12/24. He went through everything thoroughly and got it done in half the time that was estimated. He answered any questions I had and was very honest with the condition of my car and what it all meant. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be back!

I recommend Danny and Jamie to .anyone that have any issues going on with your automobile you need to come and visit the experts that will truly go up and upon to take care of your car problems. They have the customer service skills and you can count on them when you needs help. Stop by and give them a Chance you want regret it.

Fast, friendly, and I knowledgeable. Called to make an appointment, and had a quote for work within 3 hours. They work with after market warranties like Carshield, and are a preferred vendor of that particular company. So no waiting 3-5 days for a claim approval. They had my claim approved in less than 15 minutes. Highly recommend.

They were very quick to get the truck diagnosed and in the shop for repair. The price was very reasonable for a transmission rebuild. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend them to anyone for any car repair.

I took my car in for a transmission leak. It turned out that there was no transmission leak. Instead, there was an engine leak. And instead of a transmission replacement they were fixed just my engine all leaks and power steering leak. My final cost was a fraction of what I had anticipated since they did the job so quickly I didn t have to rent a car. As an 83 year old widow I feel like I have husband in absentia. Thank you guys.

I took my Kia Sedona to these guys because my transmission was shifting funny. I was expecting a huge estimate, but when they called me with my estimate it was very reasonable. I went ahead and had them fix it. They had it back to me quickly, I would recommend Pro Transmission & Automotive of Athens for all your vehicle repair needs..

Cost a bit morethan I expected.But a unique situation ..The folks were honest and explained the issues and thorough in their work. They won't sell youwhat you don't need. They will do quality work at a fair price .Will use them again in the future..Thanks guy for fixing my Thunderchicken!!

I meant to write a review the day when it happened.On Black Friday I was driving home that afternoon and my truck broke idler pulley, a friend of mine had recommended me to pro transmission next time I need something done to my vehicle and I m glad I listened, I called them and talked to Danny. He told me to get it towed out to the shop. I explained to him my situation and how this was my only mode of transportation so when I showed up there, he got the part delivered and the guys jumped right on it. I waited out in the lobby, they had it done in a flash.I will definitely be going back from now on whenever I need anything done

Came in for dead battery, was taken right in. Took about 15 min. Friendly fast service. Not from the Athens area, but would drive an hour to get any work here. Highly recommend.

These honest and careful men repaired my worn out 2004 SUV to drive like new again. Transmission, suspension, tuneup, brakes, for 25% more than 2 other shops wanted to rebuild the transmission. They rejuvenated my dangerous vehicle to be safe for another 92,000 mi for 8.7% of buying new. It will hold that value for years.

Brought in our car that was have shifting issues and they got us in right away. Although the repairs took longer than expected, it was well worth it. Michael provided us with multiple updates throughout the process and took the time and due diligence to make sure our vehicle was completely taken care of.

"Pro" transmissions informed me that they can fix the reverse problem on my 02 Dodge Ram .. they claimed they diagnosed the problem an could fix it .. the truck was with them for a week, they called me an informed me the truck was fixed an to come pick it up .. I paid the amount they asked to fix the problem.. problem was not fixed .. an they refused to refund me any cash wit no proof of a new part installed no part documented on my receipt..! Truck still having the same issues.. I do not recommend " pro " transmissions..
