I got two of my cars tinted and a large window in my home. I knew almost nothing about tinting but am so glad I lucked up and went here first. Phil does a great professional job and does things the right way. I was also surprised what a difference the lumar solar tinting makes, I don t know how people can drive around with no tint on their windows in the Summer. Great service and fair price!

Horrible service bought my car for it to be tinted , it doesn t even look tinted wasted my time and money, don t recommend. Update there is bubbles and he messed my car real bad! Definitely don t recommend him.

Phil did a phenomenal job on my Lexus last year. Unfortunately I had a window malfunction that damaged the film so I am coming back to have it re tinted. Highly professional, Ferrari enthusiast as well!

They have done several cars for me over the years, always a great job. The ceramic tint is affordable and looks great.

I had a great experience! My tint job started on-time on the day I was schedule to have my car tinted. Every question I had about tinting, he was able to answer my questions. He also went over the do's and don't of how to handle the windows of your vehicle when he completed the job. As I checked his work when he was done, I didn't notice any bubbles in my tint. The tint looked perfect on all windows! It's only been a week now since I had the job done and the tint is still perfect! With over 20 Years of experience, I do recommend this place to those who are looking for a great job to be done on their vehicle. It comes with a life Time Warranty as well!

I have always used prestige solar tinting for my window tinting! Phil and his staff not only have tinted my cars and my families cars but they have also tinted my home as well! They provide excellent customer service and In all the years I've used them, I've never had any issues! I highly recommend them to everyone !

Phil tinted the windshield and front windows on both my wife s mini van and my truck about a week apart.(Close to 500 dollars for both vehicles)We both immediately, noticed slight tears or lines in the windshield on both vehicles. My wife on her way home from Athens and me when I washed my truck that weekend. She called him and had to make another appointment to have him look at it. After studying his work he told her that there were bubbles in the tint when he applied it, and his card must have snagged, ripped the tint during the application. This is just going to be to much work to redo he said so he offered a free tint job if she ever gets the windshield replaced. No Thanks Phill we will have to pass on that offer. Bottom line I wouldn t recommend him.

My most recent car I took there had trash all in the tint and they scratched my driver's side window with a razor blade. My car may at best have been 2 weeks old. I rescheduled for the tint to be redone , afterwards the back passenger window had huge crease in it and they didn't have time to do my windshield. Drove around for a week with it that way until they were able to fit me in to do the windshield and fix the back passenger window. Thought everything would be right this time, but no. Long string in center of windshield tint. I also requested for the owner, Phil to do my tint so that it would be done right. After requesting this and him telling me he would do it, he wasn't working the day he scheduled me. I was honestly so sick of taking my car back there that if the string wouldn't have been in the center of the windshield, I would have just left it. Take the car back on another Saturday (seems like I've spent the last month or so of Saturdays dropping my car off here) and the tint looks okay but there are scratches from razor blades all over my windshield. I've taken four other cars here before and never had an issue but after this go around I will never take another car here!!

Took my truck in on a Saturday to get my windows tinted. It only took phil and his team an hour to do my entire truck and they did an awesome job! Not to mention it was also the best price in Athens for window tinting after calling around. for the best price, best service and the best product (LLumar) in Athens, I would definitely recommend going Prestige solar tint.

Just had our new Toyota Avalon tinted with Ceramic film and the job was done professionally, efficiently and the entire crew was customer friendly and got right to work and explained each step of the process! Well done! I will be bring my other car up soon! A+. Thank you! Dan White

I have my front and back window tinted, everything is good, I'm happy with it. but later I found the back one is blurry at night, amplify the cars behind and affect my view very obviously, very uncomfortable, and it's dangerous. I drove to the store to let them check, the guy checked and said 'nothing is wrong with the tint, it's normal, that's just the way it looks like.' But all other tints on my car, including the ones I put on the side windows are OK, only this one has this problem, he still repeated those words, refuse to do anything except take it off! Just be careful, I guess they have 2 generations of product, if you got the previous product, it maybe like this.

Phil (owner) is very unprofessional and NOT a man of his word. First time Phil done my tint he blamed the bubbles & peeling on me. At my appt to get it redone he lied saying he had another appt. After 30min of him blaming me and asking him to just give my money back he redone it. Still have bubbles and his excuse is "well you got a discount"! He also never replaced the front window strip due to "Not having time".

Phil at Prestige Solar Tinting is NOT a man of his word. I met with Phil last week to look at the window tint on my car. When I arrived, my passenger side window tints were all torn up. I gave Phil my Llumar warranty paperwork and talked with him about getting the tint replaced. When I pulled out the warranty card, he immediately looked disgruntled.He talked about my car having Limo tint and how he does great Limo tint on vehicles. Our conversation went from being buddy buddy and having shared interests to short handed statements and aggravation when I pulled out my Llumar warranty card. He said, I have to call my rep, we ll get back with you .A few days later, a rep called to schedule me with Phil to get tint put on for the following week Thursday at 9am. I arrived Thursday before Phil had even open shop. When he pulled up, I greeted him and I was returned with an under the breath mornin . When he was ready the first thing he told me is that he doesn t do Limo tint and he would have to give me a lighter shade of tint. I told him that we discussed how he does Limo tint. He said he won t do Limo because it is too much of a liability. Then he said, I didn t know you had Limo tint. If I knew you had Limo, I would have told you I don t do it I then reminded Phil that we discussed a week ago my Limo tint and he was bragging about the Limo job he does. Phil then asked, Well why don t you go back to Florida and get the job done Phil, it s because I live in Georgia now. And you are a Llumar partner who is under contract to honor Llumar s warranty. Not only was Phil lying, but he was not honoring what he said he would do.I will not be returning to Prestige Solar Tinting. I will make sure everyone I come in contact with needing window tint will avoid Phil s place. If you want someone that is going to be honest and do business with integrity, you won t find that with Phil.

I called about an appointment but was told that I would be placed on an on call list if someone canceled. In the mean time I found another location to have my windows tinted. While at the other location I received a call from prestige and was informed that they could get me In later in the day. I said thanks but I found another location. The guy just hung up on me. So you get a one star from me.

There is no better place in Athens to have your windows tinted. Llumar film is the best available, and the install and attention to detail is the best I have ever had done on any of my cars.

The owner was very unprofessional and disrespectful ... He messed up my tint and did a poor Job also got upset for having to fix the tint that He never corrected. This place is very unprofessional... Don't go there if you want your windows tinted correctly!!

Excellent work -- go see the pros here first. GPS didn't quite make it to their shop though. Just turn in the road toward the carwash and its on the left. Highly recommended!

Horrible service and product. Was told I could get my front windows to match factory back windows. It didn't match. When I called I was cursed at and told he only has the closest match, not exact. Why would he not say that before I had it done. Do not go here!!

Just threw away 220.00. If you want your windows tinted don't go here. I can still see straight through my windows, no difference at all!
