They know their 302 s. Slow to get the job done, but if you re patient they have the knowledge and experience to get your engine running great! Top quality and careful attention to detail in their work!

Was asked to drop my transmission and some money off today. Got to MV after 10am and sat there for 25 minutes. All doors locked and no one answering the phone when I called. Total waste of my time. What s wrong with these performance shops now? Absolutely garbage customer care. If Tim don t want my money then I ll spend it else where. Would not recommend bringing your car or anything here.

I was referred to these guys by another shop and what a waste of time and money..worst shop I ever took a car to period!! They never answer the phone and they do very sloppy and junky work. Picked up my car the first time and the car was doing the same thing it was before I took it to them..they clearly didn t fix the problem so I took it back. What a mistake that was...my car was even worse the second time when I picked it up! They didn t put the screws back in my dash,unplugged my electric fan and didn t plug it back in or my tack gage. I had them change my injectors and they broke the snaps off and didn t say anything. My steering wheel was so loose I had to stop on my way home from the shop and tighten it up! I will NEVER EVER take my car back to these guys again nor would I recommend them to ANYONE! Last but not least, they keep your car FOREVER. For the small work I had them do they kept my car over 4 months and it was impossible to even get them on the phone to get an update on the status! If you need to store your car this is the place for you but if you want great work done I ll save you the headache...take my advice BYPASS THIS SHOP! Mustang guys told me not to go to these guys and I didn t listen so I ll tell you for the last time STAY AWAY FROM MV PERFORMANCE and take your Car somewhere else!!!!

Yeah I also had to learn the hard way with them, brought my 98 cobra mustang in for a few upgrades and had my car 10 months, I brought it 2 hrs away so couldn't check on it like I wanted to, then the fire came and my car was never the same. I question Tim's tuning abilities honestly, if u want a great tuned mustang go see Jeff in Dallas @ Mo's Speed Shop. Dealing with mv performance was night mare after nightmare, Never AGAIN!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND PLZ TAKE YOUR VEHICLE ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

They did some work on my Corvette I can't say enough about what a great job they did. And everyone there was great to work with.

Dont go to this place, they only want your money, they don't care about your vehicle. I took my truck to get some work done and developed problems from their bad work. The little guy name zev is fraud and a liar, he apparantly told me things had change and basically told me he wasnt going to do nothing after given them almost two grand worth of useless work. GO TO A PROFESSIONAL, THESE GUYS ARE A FRAUD..

I really had high hopes for this place but in the end was extremely disappointed. They had my car for about a year and the engine was never right. It overheated from the time I picked it up and I was never able to take delivery because of that. I paid roughly $8000 for a car that never ran. Lastly my car was damaged from the shop fire and I was never made whole. They had no insurance and my car had liability insurance only. I wish them the best but I would never use them again.

Had to chase down the guys to get anything done on my car. When I went over the gentleman working on my car was lying on a couch in the office on his phone.In the end, replaced 02 sensors that didn t need to be replaced and charged for shop time when I m not sure anything was actually diagnosed on my car... When I got under the car myself I immediately found the problem (loose coupling causing an air leak in the procharger set up).Shop is more of a storage yard feel (stuff everywhere) than an actual functioning garage. Not professional, and very unsatisfactory performance.

Tim Matherly has forgotten more than most tuners will ever know. He has built 2 very High HP street/ strip Mustangs for me that stayed together like glue when they were truly ran way too hard to do so. He has been building my hotrods since the early 90's in a little 4 car shop in Butler,Tennessee and I still depend on his skills and know how to make my cars go fast and be reliable to this day.He is one of the most knowledgeable human beings about Mustangs, old and new, on Earth. In fact, all Fords in general but not limited to them. MV made my F-250 Diesel's Transmission shift like a formula one open wheel race car and with the upgrades and propane injection, will run with 90% of the street cars on the road. My current 3 valve Mustang is in the process of being built and going turbo. I am very lucky to have Tim and the MV team in my corner.

Tim matherly and shane are the best mustang shop in the south, they know their craft, very professional and most of all, great people to know, I would recommend them to anyone.

Have been told on at least three different occasions that my mustang is ready and then when i call and ask they keep telling me a different day. it s been like this for at least two or three weeks.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair
