This dealership sold my son a 2021 Nissan Altima in Sept. 2023. A month later I was rear ended in the car. During the repairs at Athens Dodge and Jeep Collision, I was notified that the vehicle was in a previous accident, which wasn t mentioned on the Carfax report. The car was repaired and I received it back at the end of December. I drove it for a little over a month. We had heavy rain and I notice that the car was sliding as I was driving on Loop 10. The next day I checked the front tires and they had no treads and wires exposed. I took the car to Heyward Allen GMC and Buick to show them the tires. After they inspected the tires and so called paperwork, they told me the inspection was completed and everything was up to par. They said because the car wasn t brought in for a tire rotation was the reasoning behind the bald tires. I explained to the manager that 2 months of driving time would not cause the tires to have exposed wires and no treads. This was two weeks ago. On March 2, 2024, I had tires put on and took the car to Tires Plus to get a wheel alignment and oil change to find out that I need outer and inner tire end rods for both sides of the front end because they re bent. The service guy at Tires Plus also informed that during inspection of the car that he could tell it sustained front end damage. This is the second time from a different car business that told me that this car has been in an accident. Meanwhile, I have to pay $1200.00 to have the tire end rods replaced. Heyward Allen aren t being honest or ethical in their selling practices. In my experience they re selling salvaged vehicles. I was suppose to receive a free oils change with this dealership and I ll pay someone before I let these goons get anymore of my money. It s said because my son expected a good used car, but gotten robbed in the process.

Bought a Cadillac xt5 from them. Wonderful experience. Serviced my duramax 2500 great service and people. Sent my brother to them to buy a truck that I found on their lot. Was promised a $100 finders fee. Months later the finders fee still hasn t arrived. Sorry guys, not gonna beg. This is proof that the car sales people forget about you as soon as you walk off of the showroom floor. Now that I m in the market for another truck, guess who I won t be calling. Non service after the sale. I won t call any names but the salesman s initials are JR

Derrick in the service department was wonderful. We ran into some issues with parts that delayed repairs. Derrick communicated thoroughly throughout. Everything was explained to me on pickup. This was my first time at this dealership and I will no doubt continue to do business with them. Huge shoutout to Derrick. Great guy.

We were one of the lucky ones for we had two amazing sales people working with us!Stephanie was the absolute best. She was not only professional but made it personal. It was like we were friends who hadn t seen each other in a while which truly helped my 77 year old mother be at ease. She was thorough and extremely patient and understanding as she guided us thru the process and full of knowledge about the car and took care of all of our questions.Marlo was there when Stephanie couldn t be and he was more than patient in handling things that other departments had been less than . He took it upon himself to follow thru on their job in cleaning the car and setting things up for my mother.If you are on the area and are in need of a car, PLEASE do yourself a favor and ask for STEPHANIE AND MARLO.They made the long drive from SC and the two nights in the area worth it.And for the record I wasn t easy for not only am I very protective of my mother, but am a big on the details. Our sales person, Stephanie was amazing. We have purchased many GM vehicles over the years and she made this experience better than any other experience we have had. Her time and attention to detail was exceptional and she also made us feel very comfortable. Purchasing a vehicle is not normally a fun experience and while the process is the same, Stephanie made the whole process so much more enjoyable. The other staff in the dealership should definitely pay attention to her ways and mannerisms. Heyward Allen should consider themselves very lucky to have such a valuable person at their dealership. I will definitely be recommending Stephanie to all of my friends and family.

Came in for recall items and they were found to not be the problem and $800 later I had new brake pads, a new battery, and the all famous air filter. Since then my automatic start does not work, the caution light is on and the check engine light is on. So no I m not happy at all.

The overall experience was great! I had a particular vehicle I was interested in and the Sales Associate (Adam) took the extra time to provide information about the vehicle in advance of my arrival. He provided walk thru videos of the interior and exterior of the vehicle. Adam was well informed on the vehicle and was able to answer all of my questions and I can honestly say that I didn t feel pressured to make a purchase. The team at Heyward Allen GMC let me move thru the process at my own pace and ultimately provided the right customer service experience that led to me purchasing the vehicle. Service rep did not respond to my 4 phone calls and 3 messages and 4 emails..brought truck in o sunday..left 2. Written messages ..1 in truck seat and 1 in service envelope with what was wrong with truck and with what I wanted done..truck stayed in diagnostic for 7 hrs..I finally called back at 3 pm and talked to another service Manger and told him what was needed..he went out and got them started on work..finally heard b ack from first service Mgr at 530pm to tell me truck was ready but they close at 6 and was having it washed but it had 2 vehicles in front of it.so could not pick it up..I had to borrow a friend's vehicle so my wife could get to work. All I needed was a oil change...cabin air filter and thermostat put in and replace lost antifreeze. Cost was $1595.way over priced..will never. Visit or buy another gmc vehicle.

Scheduled and 8:30am appt for standard service (oil change and tire rotation). Also done during the visit was a Park Assist module update. At 2pm I asked Terrence what was taking so long since my car was parked in the completed section. He stated it was not done, something with the park assist. I explained the guy has completed that already. He responded that there was an issue so it was not done. I asked why it was parked where it was and he stated that was not my vehicle. I said yes it is and I would like to know what is going on. He stated he would check and get back to me. I went back to the waiting room and never heard from him. After waiting over an hour additional I asked the ladies in the service area if they could check on the vehicle. Low and behold the vehicle was done but Terrance had gone to lunch so wasn t available. Makes sense why he never updated me. I left the dealership finally around 3:20pm. 7 hours for a service and a recall??? Something is amiss here. Absolutely not pleased with the experience.
