Quick and easy! I came in for a motor vehicle report and had it in 15 min. The staff is kind, patient, and joyful. It was nice to hear a warm office environment while I waited. Also, they had the holiday spirit!

The manager was very nice but Charles was very rude and kept telling me to leave because I didn t have proper documentation even though the manager said what I had was fine. He also rudely asked how old are you?? In a condescending tone after I told him I didn t have utility bills in my name because I lived with my parents. Even though he had my birth certificate in front of him so he knew how old I was. He was insisting I left and came back with my parents even though I am an adult and when I asked him to clarify why he said I m not going to keep repeating myself and walked away. Terrible customer service from him but the manager handled it well and was very sweet to me. I understand people at the DMV go through a lot but I did not deserve the attitude he was giving me.

The conduct of the staff at this establishment is highly disappointing. Their lack of professionalism and unfriendliness gives the impression of uneducated behavior, resembling a group of individuals who disregard their responsibilities. A particular staff member's negligence and rudeness towards customers is concerning. Furthermore, another attendant went as far as refusing service to a customer in defense of the aforementioned behavior. Recently, when a customer received an email instructing them to conduct business, they were informed that they couldn't proceed until the last day of the license expiration. However, the Georgia Department of Driver Services explicitly mandates a 30-day period before license expiration for such transactions. This display of personal grudges and collective hostility towards customers is utterly absurd and childish. Instead of prioritizing public service, it seems they're engaged in a personal vendetta. It's disappointing that these individuals prioritize animosity over their duty to serve the community. They should reconsider their approach and prioritize professionalism and customer service, akin to how one might expect in an educational setting like kindergarten.

It is a nightmare every time I have to visit this site. I tried to manage my info online, went through the video verification process multiple times and got approved each time, only for the website to tell me I m still required to go in person. I go in person, the line is outside of the building and once I get in, they tell me they can t help anyone because their system has been down all morning. It s like the DDS is hell bent on wasting peoples time. This is the 3rd day I ve come in to update this and cannot get it done.

This location was closed on Saturday. Their website and front door list hours as being open. Their phone number is automated and hangs up on you. There are no direct lines as I'm sure is their intent. I sat in my car and watched a new person showed up each minute or so, tried to open the door, and then got angry. DDS locations are not that numerous and I was especially not happy to have driven all the way to Athens for no reason.

Bitter, rude, unhelpful people. Yelling and rushing me from the minute I entered the door. Made me go through printing something only to tell me after 30 minutes that they couldn t accept it. Rudest people I ve ever met.

The guy that was in #8 today, didn't show himself feeling, didn't speak, he acted like he didn't want to be there, he was slumped down in the chair, want be going back there. I will make that drive to Elberton where there is always good customer service.

Took my child here for a road test. Fast service, kind employees. The road test was virtual and the instructor was very clear and made the nerve wracking process very smooth.

I went in for an out-of-state license transfer it was a quick and easy process. I was in an out in about 20 minutes on a Saturday morning at 10:30 AM. The employees were very helpful and answered all the questions I had efficiently.

Wonderful place. I was treated and respected like a person here. I would recommend this place for people who are sensitive to sharp stern commands, and get flustered when mistreated. Staff was super friendly, but upheld standards. You usually don't see that very often.

June 2, 2023 was a quick day. I waited only 10 minutes for my turn, staff was friendly and helpful, and once i was seen i was in and out. Wonderful!!! I think increasing the number of staff members was a really big help, obviously. But also the process seems to have been more streamlined. So a win-win. Going to the DMV is starting to look less and less like a burden and chore! Keep it up DMV!

I had a very good experience today at this location.I went there for a license renewal and it was a pleasant surprise how things went smoother and faster than I expected from a normal DMV. Workers were very helpful and everything went very fast. I needed a document to print and worried that I need to get back home or somewhere with printer but they were able to print one, which wasn't what I was expecting. I waited for a very short time and everything was treated fast and smooth.

Went to take my drivers test today, the women who greeted me was extremely patient. I hadn t brought enough mail and she let me print some off. Had some trouble with my fl learners permit, but they figured it out quickly and smoothly. The woman at till 1 helped me out and was absolutely amazing.Was worried to take the test after reading the reviews about all the horrible driving instructors. Though the man that did my test was absolutely wonderful and true sweetheart. All the worries i had instantly melted away, he was clear in instructions and very patient.Absolutely amazing customer service looking forward to coming here in the future. Came here on a Thursday afternoon at 2 so there was no line. If you're taking you're test its gonna be over the phone and you're going to have to have someone over 21 in the car with you.

The greeting staff is very nice and pointed everyone the right way as soon as they walked in. The wait is slightly long, mine was 40 min on a Wednesday morning. In general the place is efficient and hassle free.

Phylis is the most helpful employee I have ever met at any DMV in the United States. Her fantastic people skills and her ability to juggle so many people on her own was impressive and refreshing. Great and very helpful people. Thank you all again!

This DMV branch is super efficient now!! The staff NOW is always courteous & professional, and our entire family has had great experiences in the last year. This is a huge change from the past. It used to be a straight up nightmare! Someone took over & make the needed changes. This location rocks now, thanks guys!!!This is not against the staff but I do not agree with older people having to remove their eye glasses for the drivers license but others being able to cover half their faces of their license photo with a head wrap. It makes no sense.

I Had to take my son for an ID. This was one of the best experiences at a DMV ever. The staff was nice and attentive.The woman at window number 7 could have easily gotten frustrated with our situation but she didn't. She remained calm and pleasant throughout our transaction. The staff at the door was very helpful with explaining what I needed. Great job ladies.

You always hear horror DMV stories however this was such a pleasant experience. Everybody was so nice and so helpful. They were also very accommodating to an elderly woman that came in. I highly recommend coming here for all of your licensing needs.

The supervisor here is as unprofessional and rude as any person possibly could be. An actual bully giving the entire DMV a bad name and reputation. She fails to answer reasonable questions, yells at customers, and lacks any resemblance of being good at her job. I'd rather drive twice as far, than ever go here again.

I had low expectations but I have to say this is the best DMV experience I have ever had. The employees were all SO pleasant but efficient which I am not used to. I was in and out and didn't even get there early or anything. I know you don't really have a choice when it comes to DMVs but so happy this is the one near me!

I would rate this place a zero if I could.The staff there are so rude and with an attitude.. and the ladies there will make sure to let everyone know your business why your at the DMV. Will never go back. That day was nothing but a headache.

I would like to compliment the staff at this location. The young lady who helped me the most met me at the door and with a smile and a truly sweet spirit. Everyone was so nice to me and helped me through the process on making a change to my address. Without a doubt the best experience I have ever had with DDS.

They attend to customers kind of well and you won't get lost in the office. But they don't follow the state rule that says if you fail your road test, the next time you should be tested by a different examiner. One examiner failed my friend two times in a row. The area they use for parking part of the road test is down a valley and if you take the virtual test, voice quality is awful.

Staff and service were well above expectations. This location has a group of hard working employees that made a dreaded process a pleasure. (the only reason I gave it 4 stars was for the old facility/building. it's super clean but sure could use an update)
