This was my first visit to Classic City Motorworks and I was pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff and my vehicle was fixed for a reasonable amount of $$$ and within the timeframe promised. I am pleased with the work performed on my vehicle and I will definitely take it back there for any future repair services.

An Athens icon at this point. One of the last honest and fairly priced automotive shops in Athens. I send my mother here for work on her car. Unbeatable service and respect.

Honest repair center with reasonable prices. They didn't know anything about me and did a great job with my son's 2012 civic. I originally took it to the local Athens Honda dealer and they quoted me $3900. Classic City diagnosed the problem quicker and the quote was around $300. Thanks Classic City! You have a customer for life!

Tracy, Christy and the crew at Classic City Motorworks are absolutely the best in the business. I have used them exclusively for over six years for all my auto maintenance needs, and they continue to deliver and exceed expectations. They're expert level mechanics, reasonably priced, just friendly people and most importantly, honest. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

My girlfriend took her car her by recommendation and I am glad that she did! The owner called and informed her of their final diagnosis but was empathetic to cost and helped her to prioritize certain repairs. It is hard to find a reliable and honest automotive shop but I will recommend and continue to bring my car to Classic City!

We've been taking our car here for years and they are amazing. They have always kept us very well updated on how repairs are going and if it was something that they couldn't repair, they have referred us out to someone that was very good in that repair area. I would highly recommend them.***I would beware the towing company that they use though! Dennis and Judy's. They charge you $120 to tow literally 30 yards!***

My husband and I bring all of our cars to Classic City Motorworks and advise our friends and family and co-workers to do the same. The prices are extremely reasonable, the technicians are knowledgeable and our cars are always repaired correctly the first time. We have always received prompt, courteous treatment by all at Classic City. If you want your car repaired quickly, and correctly at a great price, this is the place to go!

I bring my entire family here to do business. They always have the best pricing and the most knowledgeable techs. More importantly, Christy in the front knows how to treat customers, make them feel at home and makes sure they have a no compromise experience.Be very comfortable bringing your business to Classic City Motorworks. I have had our MINI Cooper and our Toyota Tacoma serviced at Classic City for several years, and can recommend them highly for several reasons. The repairs they have performed have without fail been done correctly and on time. They are very good at communicating with the customer, making sure any decision to perform a repair is mutually agreed upon, and that the customer has a close approximation of what the final repair will cost. Finally, and just as important as anything else, Classic City is quick to mention any cost-saving alternatives and willl tell the customer, for example, if a repair can be done under warrenty at a dealer. At the same time, if you are someone who wishes to keep up with your car's suggested maintenance, they will remind you when it comes time to change, flush, rotate, or otherwise take care of your car.

The technicians and staff at CCM are on point. I've been taking my cars there for over 5 years, and they've always been helpful, and save me thousands. I've even bought 3 cars from them. If they tell you they're going to do something and what it will cost, that's EXACTLY what happens. Be VERY careful buying a car here. I bought one from them and 3 months later it needed a brand new engine. A few months later it needed another AC condenser. I've spent more repairing this lemon than it cost. I've had to replace almost everything. But best of all was they sold it to me without a jack. Guess how I found that out? Stuck on the side of the road at night with my 4 month old niece. That was evil of them

I have been using Classic City Motorworks for several years on all of our vehicles. Last year, our car overheated and left me stranded on the side of I-85 in South Carolina, two hours from Athens on a Friday night, I called CCMW. It was after business hours and I was certain they wouldn't still be at the shop, but Tracy was. He was more than willing to help me coordinate the tow trucks that were needed (two of them, since we were out of state). Tracy waited at the shop until our car arrived (close to 10pm). This is just one of the many times these guys have gone above and beyond to help in servicing our cars. We have recommended all of our friends and family in the Athens area to Classic City. These guys are super dependable, reasonably priced, and honest -- This is the ONLY mechanic in Athens I would trust with my vehicles. Check them out, I promise you won't be disappointed!

You won't find better customer service anywhere in Athens. Tracy and Cristie are wonderful people. They've helped me out many times, including fixing my car window when it wouldn't close in the middle of winter, and even giving me a ride home (and picking my daughter up!) when my car wasn't running and a rental company let me down. I won't take my car anywhere else.

There aren't many people in Athens who will work on Volvos, so I just happened to luck into this place. Great service, super friendly, and they've also worked on our Japanese vehicles. I cannot say enough good things about them!

I went for an evaulation to check the plastic shield underneath my car. Classic City wanted to add on more fixes, and tried to convince me that a dent above my car was the reason the bottom of my car couldnt be fixed. Ridiculous! I went somewhere else. No problem; They fixed it...Its true I came in anyway to CCM for a quick fix for my bumper.... Which another MECHANICAL shop was able to do quickly. I didn't think giving a shop a chance to help me now and come back later would result into fabrication.

Do not buy cars from these people, they do every trick in the book to cover up issues, including clearing the CEL and charging the AC to make it appear like nothing is wrong. The 2002 CRV sold 'as-is' in the beginning of June was supposed to be safe and reliable transportation and we can't count on it to start every time

Had them work on my Jeep Wrangler (swap from 2.5L to 5.3L). They did a perfect job and didn't fudge any of the charges. I will continue going to them for all auto work.
