We got a quote for our vehicle at another body shop and were blown away at the price for so little damage. I had a friend with a novice show car that had all his work done at Athens Paint and body, so I gave them a try. Their quote was less than half of the other shop s quote. What really surprised me was that when I shared this with them, they did not low rate the other shop. They actually offered fair explanation as to some of the other shops costs and why their quote was higher.Needless to say, we went with Athens Paint and Body, they did forewarn me that the quote may be slightly higher but if so it would not be much. Almost a full day early, they called me to let me know our vehicle was ready and the original quote stood with no extra expenses.We are so pleased with the finished product and the professionalism they showed by being supportive of the other shop s quote.Athens Paint and body were great to deal with and if we need paint or body work in the future, we will definitely be returning!Thanks Athens Paint and Body!

I will only come here for my car needs now. Great service and great employees. I came in for an estimate on my car with my bumper that was out of place, two employees came out and secured it back on in under 10 minutes. Very Professional and Great Customer Service:Worked with Kyle and Melissa and they kept me up to date with everything I needed to do to make sure my car was taken care of. They really have the customer in mind and look to make sure we were informed about every step. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to receive honest service.

DO NOT GO HERE! We took my husband's car here to get looked at and they totally disassembled it and then they refused to cooperate with our insurance company. Our insurance company said this was definitely not the first time this has happened with this particular shop in Athens. They charge you over $100 in storage fees and since your car is disassembled you can't even go pick it up and move it somewhere else.They are very sleazy, we left feeling totally taken advantage of. Customer service was awful as well. When we called to ask about the storage fees the woman in the phone replied "Well you don't pay us every month" as in since they're not our insurance they feel justified charging bs fees and not explaining it.Absolutely worst experience ever. Literally any other shop in Athens would be less of a headache. The new place we took our car even knew of their reputation. How they have a 4.8 rating is mind boggling (fake reviews is my guess).

I have used Athens Paint and Body exclusively because their customer service is above none and the staff are excellent to work with, always going above and beyond. From the front desk to the guys in the back, everyone is extremely professional. They always look out for the customer's best interest and safety. They have never used after market parts on my vehicles, even if it meant taking on the insurance company on my behalf. If you want to stay safe, call Mike!

For full review see yelp or facebook.Short version: They are rude and unprofessional and don't get back in touch when they say they will. They weren't equipped to handle our biggest issue (which they knew from before our car even arrived) and got offended when I wanted it moved to someone who could and said "you don't need a second opinion". Then when called out when I asked if our charges would have been much less had the car been moved the day we wanted it to they were quick to put all the blame on us. They said over and over they worked for us (when they didn't want to follow the instructions from insurance on submitting supplemental claims) but it is very clear they only work for their own wallets.

I can't thank Athens Paint and Body enough for handling my car so well after a wreck this summer. I could not have left my vehicle in more capable hands for a professional repair. This body shop came highly recommended from some close friends who are industry experts. They set to work on my car immediately and ensured that it was not only cosmetically restored, but structurally safe as well. I wouldn't have car body work done anywhere else!

Athens Paint & Body repainted the hood on my 2006 Honda Accord. They did a great job and even managed to salvage some other things for me to get my car looking great. I wanted my pin stripes gone which they tried to oblige, but there was an issue with the clear-coat (issue from Honda and age, not from Athens P&B) and they placed a new set on for me.When I picked up I noticed a minor issue with my key, and they went above and beyond to fix it for me with no charge. I highly recommend their product and service! If you see a brand new 2006 Accord rolling around Athens, that's me!

Our truck collided with a deer and received fairly extensive damage to the left front area. Athens Paint and Body worked with our insurance company advocating for quality replacement parts and complete restoration including supplemental repair needed (found after the initial estimate). The work was excellent, including paint matching and overall detailing, and it was done in a timely fashion. I highly recommend this business.

I had the pleasure of visiting APB recently and they were very friendly, professional and and knowledgeable and went out of their way to accommodate me. Their facility is very attractive, clean and comfortable.More importantly they truly care for their customer's safety and economic well-fare and explain the issues involving insurance claims and how to protect one's rights for a proper and thorough repair with quality replacement parts and materials.I highly recommend Athens Paint & Body.

Wife and I have never had to use a mechanic other than a friend of ours, so when our car was hit we had no clue on where to go at all, we we popped in to ask them for a look over on the car. The lady that came out was purely blunt honest that the car was a total loss based on what she saw in under 2 min. Because of honesty we will do business here in the future. Thanks

Highly recommend! Hit a pole in the rain on my way to work, did some terrible damage to my front end. You would never know by looking at it now, my car looks brand new! Beyond satisfied with their work.

Athens Paint and body repaired my 2005 Honda CR-V after it was severely rear ended. Once the repairs we complete you could never tell it happened. The overall experience was great considering and I would do business with them again if i ever need it.

Be very careful!! I drove my car to Athens Paint and Body and left it for minor repairs. They disassembled it and then totally refused to work with my insurance company and offered no remorse or compromise. They actually held my vehicle hostage and forced my insurance company to pay them approx $560 and then told me I must have my car towed to another shop!! I was devastated as a customer and will NOT use or recommend them to anyone!

I'm very surprised at the experience that Mr. & Mrs. Manalo had at Athens Paint & Body. Sounds to me like the insurance company (Geico) got under their skin.My old insurance company (Geico) tried the same tactic. They tried to steer me to a body shop that they called a "Prefered Shop", which is one that they have in their pocket and tried to fix my car with Junk Yard and Imitation parts (Non OEM parts). However, no matter how difficult Geico tried to make it and obstacles they threw my way, I didn't give into their tricks and threats. Gecio told me that I was going to encounter "Out of Pocket Expenses", but at the end, Athens Paint & Body made sure to help me thru the whole process.I got my car fixed back to Factory Standards, and we kept it for another 5 years without any issues.That was back in the early 2000's, and I've been a customer ever since. Four claims later, I'm still loyal to APB, because I realized way back then that APB was working for me and not the insurance company. I feel like you should get back in touch with APB, and they would help you get anything back that's owed to you.I'm only saying all this from past experience.

Athens Paint and Body did a great job fixing my bumper. The repair was quick and they told me all costs upfront. I liked the work they did and that they kept me posted on when it would be finished.

This was a very negative and frustrating experience, and I left having felt taken advantage of. They charged me over $2000 in inspection and "storage fees" (at over $100 per day) that GEICO said that I was personally liable for as per the skeezy legal-ese contract they have you sign."The only 'adverse shop' in Athens"This shop took advantage of me and might try to get you too.

We have two Mercedes Vans, both were in accidents at different times. Athens Paint and Body repaired both of them.They did a great job with EXCELLENT customer service!

Initially brought my car here because it was closest to the Enterprise location. WORST mistake of my life! I called insurance company and shop everyday for a week to check on progress with almost no clear updates. On the 7th day I get a call from progressive at 6pm saying that the car is going to be a total loss. The shop charged me over 2000$ to take the rear bumper and tail light off, plus storage. The insurance company refused to pay 1000$ of the charges and deducted it from my claim. The only reason I couldn't fight the money offered is because they were charging HUNDREDS of dollars a day for empty parking lot storage. Insurance company basically said they are known for scamming and that I wouldn't believe the horror stories they hear. I do! Not to mention a google search of the owners name brings back the images below also mentioning his business in a News article. Cool. Never again.Service: Body & Trim

Unfortunately I have had to use Athens Paint and Body, at least four times. Accidents happen. Having two Merceedes vans and a Ram truck requiring body work, they did an excellent job! AP&B did the work and charged the quoted amount, in the time they quoted. I would highly recommend them, if, unfortunately you're in an accident.

This place was okay, the owner and my insurance company got into a major spat that ended up with my car getting totaled. The staff were very friendly and helpful to me, on the other hand.

Heavy rain caused about 2" of standing water to flood into the passenger side of my car. I dropped my car off at APB and they saw to it and fixed it very quickly and at a fair price. Melissa even asked one of the guys to give me a ride home in the wrecker so I wouldn't have to pay for a Lyft since I live close by! My dad wasn't as excited as I was when I told him I got a ride home in the wrecker truck, but I was surprised how good the customer service was. Hopefully I won't have to go back to the body shop anytime soon, but if I do, I will be going to APB.
