I own and operate an automobile repair business. I took my Sprinter to this business for repairs because they have more experience with this type of vehicle. This business is a 5 star worthy experience and I know exactly what that is. My business is 5 star rated.

Highly recommend. Andreas takes great care of all his customers and tells it how it is. Extremely knowledgeable and has saved me money every time I bring them an issue. I am a customer for life after my outstanding experience with German Master Tech. I was referred to this business by another outstanding auto service that I utilize because he does not work on Mercedes autos. I brought my paperwork from another shop on what they recommended I needed for services. The gentleman I dealt with, Chris, was outstanding and said that most of the items or repairs were not needed and provided logical reasoning as to why I did not need those services. Every time I have made an appointment they are always on time and very efficient in telling me a time frame. They also return calls very promptly and are always professional. In closing, I had a flat tire and called Chris and without hesitation he drove to my location and changed the spare and followed me to the tire shop that he recommended. I want to preface this by saying that this shop has worked on multiple of my cars now. I recently moved into the area and had gone through 3 other shops before I finally found German Master tech. I have one issue with them. They are booked out because their services are so good. By far the best shop I have ever dealt with. Chris, one of the managers, is a genuine guy. He s super responsive and trustworthy. I have a car collection issue. I m the last ten years, I ve owned over 50 cars and have lived in multiple states. With that said, I ve had lots of experience with auto repair shops. I can safely say that everyone of my cars will be going to German Master Techs from this point forward. My cars range in age and are all equally complex to work on. Some have no supporting parts or guidance, which can be tricky for even the most seasoned techs. With that said, they have corrected other service centers related car issue and been forthcoming the entire time. Recently, I had a job done with another shop previously that was causing my accessory belt to shred. Come to find out my replaced AC compressor for the other shop was incorrect for my vehicle. Chris spoke and emailed me constantly to make sure the repair was done correct. They had my car done quick and perfect. I also had a transmission service on my other vehicle in which it is now buttery smooth. All said, their pricing is super well and my car is well taken care of. Andreas continues to provide service that is beyond excellent. It is top tier and by far the best place to take any German car. My VW Jetta has had its fair share of issues, and GMT has taken the best care of the Jetta and myself. I love my German cars and will continue to stick with them through all of their minor issues because German Master Tech and their fantastic staff will do all they can to help my vehicle run as smoothly as possible.

GMT saved me $10K.German Master Tech has helped me with half-a-dozen of my VW/Audi cars over the past 20 years or so, but one experience is particularly notable:My wife's Audi had engine trouble near our other place in Augusta, so I made arrangements to get it to the local dealer. After a diagnostic, the dealer recommended a new engine for $13K, but some of the explanation was unsettling, so I decided to take a day off and trailer it back to GMT for a second opinion. Good thing: Andreas found a totally different root cause - a new valve spring and a thorough tune-up (about $3K).Over and over, German Master Tech is proven to just be better, and better is generally less expensive...Services: Transmission, Auto engine diagnostic, Engine repair

For many years, we have used German Master Tech for all of our vehicles. The standard of honesty & integrity in which the owner treats his customers is truly inspiring. How fortunate we have been to have peace of mind every time we take our cars in that we can trust them to always talk straight with no unnecessary add on services. Really great!

I took my Audi Q5 in for new brakes last week which is a very expensive maintenance item for this car.Andreas and Chris let me know I could wait til later even after the dealership had told me I needed new brakes. HONESTY at its finest! And much appreciated by me. Andreas has also worked on my sons s GTI. Very happy with the work.They ve got my business for life even though there are other shops closer to my home.Service: General repairs & maintenance

These guys are amazing! After a very stressful breakdown while out of state visiting friends in GA, German Master Tech got my Mercedes Sprinter Rv running again in amazing time at a very fair price. Wished I still lived in GA so I could regularly use them. Highly recommended for anything German car repair related. They could easily overcharged a stressed out out of state guy like me, but they didn't!!! I'll sleep good tonight knowing I'll be able to continue my trip. THANKS AGAIN!!!

Very honest, reliable, well experienced, reasonably priced, always treat you as it would have been their own car. I can't express enough how great the team at German Master Tech is. Special thanks to Andreas and his wife Jean. They always have been helpful, always go the extra mile to satisfy their customer. I have been bringing my car to them over three years now. I have an Audi 2001 Allroad and recently my car was overheating. Audi dealer is on my way to work so I stopped there and had them do analysis. They said that I need a new thermostat and their estimate was $1,300.-!!! I brought my car to German Masters Tech, couple of hours later Andreas called me that there is nothing wrong with the thermostat, and that all they needed to do is to replace temperature sensor! What a difference! Andreas once again fixed my car and for a fraction of what I would have paid at the dealer. My car is running great, BIG THANK YOU to Andreas and his team. This is one of the rare places where you can trust and be confident that your car is in the best hands.

German Master Tech makes sure that the customers cars are fixed correctly without dealer prices and dealer added on repairs. The dealer said I needed repairs done, i brought it to them they looked it over and repaired what was needed. My car runs great now. They were fast and affordable with the repairs. We will return. Thank you for the great service!

If you are looking for a trustworthy car repair shop, this is the place to go! I went to them concerned with a laundry list of different problems that I had been told after a simple oil change from another shop. The car had been running perfectly, so I was very confused. After looking, Andreas gave an accurate diagnosis and fixed my car quickly. I was told so many amazing reviews about this shop and just wish I had listened sooner!

The Shop is Family Owned and Operated. The Owner is a stand up Guy, serious and honest. He came highly recommended and his service was everything that was promised, and more. He is a Certified German Master Mechanic, so his specialty is German manufactured vehicles. I especially appreciated his thorough research into how to best care for my car. He actually saved me a LOT of money.He's a rare breed in his profession, which I am a Customer for life now, I've seen many Mechanics, yet very rarely one of his caliber, truly thankful and grateful .

Andreas/German Master Tech has been truly outstanding. I first took an issue to him that was quoted by the Mercedes dealer right around the corner and he was able to fix it for far, far, far less. He and his team are true problem solvers not just replacing anything and everything so they can jack up your bill. In this last case, he gave me some advice that turned out to be super helpful even though I didn't spend another dime with him on that specific issue. It's great to know that true quality customer service is not dead yet. He has earned my trust and loyalty. Thanks!

I've known Marc for many years now and his knowledge and expertise on German vehicles is second to none! He is a fair and honest person which is rare in a mechanic these days and he's a nice guy as with the rest of the staff. He is one of the few mechanics I trust to work on my Toyota and Audi cars and their prices are unbeatable! If you want honest work done to your vehicle, I would check these guys out any day! and ask for Marc! :)

brought my car to this shop for a check engine light, and 1k after my car still has the same problem. I wanted to just go to a different shop to get it fixed so when I tried to pick up my car and just pay for another bill the shop manager or owner was giving me heat and attitude and was very rude, zero customer service had the audacity to yell and scream at me because they couldn't fix my car saying that I had worked on it and that it had a lot of miles. First of all its my car I can do what I want to do with it and and secondly I did not ask you if my car had a lot of miles and if that you think you cant fix it because of that you should've not taken in my car! And please don't be rude because in the end I still paid you in full without doing your end of the bargain of fixing my car. after I picked up the car I took it straight to eurofed and 1 day after everything was fixed and running smooth.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Took my truck in for a leaking transmission & Marc found out it was my torque converter.The professionalism & speed which they took care of me was above & beyond what most shops would do.Andreas & Marc seem to be great guys & very honest people. Very knowledgeable & very straight up guys! They don't fix things that do not need fixing like other shops will doI will be taking all 3 of our vehicles to Andreas from now on.Great experience!

I contacted them based on their proposed experience as a German master tech. I ll leave that at face value. However, I had a VERY specific ask in that my 1.9 TDI Jetta engine was going into limp mode and needed a diagnosis PRIOR to work being done; due to being on a budget. Additionally, I wanted to partner up with a repair shop to provide all additional work moving forward so they d know the vehicle. I wanted a punch list of engine work to be done highest to lower priority. I was told shop rate was $140/hr and it d be 2 to 3 hours to look over and diagnose... as well as, since this was not a daily driver, it is lower priority in their workload and be a few weeks. Almost 1 week later and a bill of almost $800, the vehicle was done and ready to be picked up. I was surprised SO quick as well as the bill! They changed parts that were never discussed, work was never approved and never received a priority work list. I paid the get out of jail bill just so I could go elsewhere. The engine remains to go into limp mode AND now the power steering squeals when turning due to their work of changing a belt that we never discussed. No, I did not inform them after picking up because I knew this wasn t the shop for me. I agree with previous comments that the owner is gruff but more importantly I don t trust their work nor business practices. Thus, I decided not to return. I know this owner s response to this review is going to be that it was my fault, the car s fault and he s superior because he has 30 years of experience. That s this owners game. Just remember, he probably has 30 years of complaints and taking customer s money by doing extra work that wasn t authorized.

AN HONEST AND GREAT MECHANICAndreas is the best! I took my Mercedes Sprinter Van to Andreas after having emissions system recall work done on it by a local MB dealership. When I got it back from the dealership, the "water in the oil filter" warning light was on, and the dealership wanted over $200 to diagnose the issue. Since I felt the dealership had probably caused the issue when it did the recall work, I had no interest in paying it $200 plus whatever it might cost to fix whatever it had done to create this problem. Knowing that Andreas would give me an honest opinion, I took my Sprinter to him. After determining that there was no water in my fuel filter, Andreas was able to determine that the dealership had, in fact, messed up the onboard computer when it did the recall work. Andreas advised me to take my vehicle back to the dealership, which I did. Although the dealership initially denied that it had caused the problem, I subsequently made a phone call to MB USA, which acknowledged that the recall work had caused the onboard computer to give an erroneous message that the fuel filter had water in it. Not only did MB fix the onboard computer, it also reimbursed me for Andreas' very reasonable invoice for the work he did in discovering the cause of my problem. Fair pricing and didn't try to bait and switch. Worked really hard to find out why my Volvo s40 engine was vibrating so badly, even with new motor mounts. Gave very honest and reasonable pricing and outstanding service. I wouldn't take a European car to anyone else!

Fair prices, and excellent work! I was from out of town and had problems with my GTI, so I brought it to their shop. I explained my situation, and because I needed to get back home in a hurry, they made my car a priority, and got me back on the road in record time! Very knowledgeable and friendly!

Great service, fair pricing, very knowledgeable & helpful employees who service my American made vehicle (you don't have to have an import to bring your car here). I know I can trust German Master Tech to do honest work on my vehicle which is HUGE! I would recommend them to anyone!

When no one would help me - He did. I have a 14' promaster, The owner of GMT, went out of his way to contact Fiat. Chryslet misdiagnosed my van 3 times. My work van was in limp mode and down for over 3 months. The GMT- assisted me with dealing with Chrysler. This is the only shop in the state of Georgia that I trust, if I owned a German veh, this is who you take your veh to. I have referred others to him and they too have experienced nothing but excellent service, professional courtesy and fair pricing. When you use your veh to earn a living, the last thing you need from the dealerships who sell the trucks/vans is an apology and finger pointing while they charge you ,blame you for bringing your problems to their dealership. That's what happened to me. The only person who helped, who took the time and walked me through, helped me through was this shop. To the owner, I am forever grateful. Its hard to buy another work van from ppl who don't know how to fix them and have you shut down for 3-4 months while they change out parts and give you the bills. That's what happened to me. thousands of dollars lost, thousands of dollars charged, To the point where the service mgr @ dodge stop taking my calls. I will buy another van in Georgia, but only one this shop can work on. I trust this shop, they answer the ph, they tell the truth , good bad or ugly. impeccable.

Andreas knows his cars. They work on my Sprinter and Audi. They just replaced my AC compressor and charged me much less, than their original estimate. Expert mechanics and honest guys. I wouldn't not go anywhere else.
