The gentleman that work at German auto repair are the best people I ve ever known to work on my previous M3, my Toyota supra, my Audi, Q5, S line diesel they re just the best you know that s the clich� and simply the best and you have to put it! After that, these guys are truly truly truly Class in a class by themselves class totally by themselves and I m 76 and I ve had to do 240 Z in a Toyota supra and some stuff like that M3 and stuff so that they re just the best I give them the stars in our galaxy, the number is great enough in our galaxy to Count the stars. These guys deserve just the best they do it right the first time they do it right every time go to the best I do cheers or Cheerios.

Exceptional customer service and attention to detail of what your vehicle really needs. I appreciated the clear communication and the honest feedback of what my vehicle needed right away vs what I could schedule at a later time.Even my husband complimented Mark (who was absolutely amazing) on being straightforward and not trying to break the bank as we often felt was the case when we went to the dealership.The quality of service is not compromised here. Nice, clean facility and professional staff. I can t say enough good things about them.If you have a German vehicle, you should absolutely give them a try.

I took my 2006 BMW Z4 in for repair on the convertible top. It was not working properly and after being turned down by other shops these guys were able to fix the problem and it works perfectly today. I would recommend German car repair to all my friends. They were professional courteous informative and the job came in on budget and on time. Thanks guys

This place is amazing, from the moment I walked in I was devastated, my check engine light came on and I was feeling overwhelmed, but Marc made me feel so comfortable, the way he went beyond to help me get my car fixed , I m so thankful and so appreciative, I definitely recommend this place to any one look for honest and caring mechanics that will go beyond to service you. They gained a loyal customer in me.

If I could, I'd post a video. My S550 sat for almost 6 months mainly due to misfiring in cylinders 7 and 8. A previous shop took a look at the car and stated it needed a new engine. Since this same issue occurred previously and this same previous shop offered the same prognosis, which unfortunately I succumbed to, I opted to just park it and buy a new truck. Once I got settled, I reconnected with German Car repair and towed the car over there. Just a couple of days later and less than $2k later the car was running fine. That previous unnamed shop cost me $80k because I didn't want to pay to put another new engine in the S550. I paid cash for the truck. I should have just gone over to German Car repair in the first place. German Car repair is definitely the shop to go to. Extremely professional and willing to make sure your car is running great.

I don t usually leave public reviews except for really good or really bad places.A very professional outfit that is quite proficient with German cars. The admin staff here is very polite, courteous and professional, and the service staff is quite efficient . they also accommodate requests, i.e., they called and asked if they could keep my car overnight for a specific fix that it needed and I mentioned that I needed the car for work the next morning, they ensured that it got done the same day rather than having me bring it back another day. I know my car is in good hands with them.The only downside to GCR, if i had to cite one, is that they don t seem to have appointments available for a couple of weeks out, but in some sense that could count as a positive endorsement too.Net-Net - the peace of mind is priceless !~g

Excellent service and fair pricing. They charged $1000 less than the dealership. The dealership quoted that the work would be done in 3-5 days. GCR had my car ready for pickup by 4 the same day. I m a forever customer now.

Leaving this from a friend s google account. My name is Kyle and GCR is hands down the best shop I ve ever been to. I have a warranty from when I bought the car and they are notoriously difficult to deal with. Marc dealt with everything, the communication the whole time was great. I will definitely be back in the future.

Very happy I found GCR as the last independent shop I used disappointed me...I brought my 2013 Porsche 911 Carrera S in for the 30k miles service/oil change. GCR was recommended to me through a Facebook Porsche owners group. I do not personally know the person who gave me the recommendation, but they appear to be a long time Porsche owner.Extremely reasonable pricing, especially compared to a Porsche dealership.Great facility built from the ground up, not just a warehouse retro-fitted to be a car repair shop...Service Advisor was pleasant and knowledgeable...they responded to my initial inquiries right away! From the start, I had a good feeling that these people know what they are doing.My impression is they are in it for the long term and value the clients they know will return to their shop, not just looking to go in for the quick $$$ kill. Great service at a very reasonable price!I will return to GCR for future repairs/maintenance and I would not hesitate to recommend this shop to any one as the best independent German vehicle repair shop in the Alpharetta/North Atlanta area for your Porsche or other German vehicle...Thanks!Services: Transmission, Oil change

I was hesitant to take my car anywhere other than the dealership. I had a very positive experience here so just wanted to share if others are looking for options other than the dealerships. The gentlemen at the service counter were very friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is super clean. All parts were available when I dropped my car off and the service was performed in a timely manner. They stand behind their work and their quoted price. I will be coming back when the next need arises.

Being a classic BMW enthusiast for decades, and owning several of them, it is a blessing to have Alan Kidson and Michael Spooner at German Car Repair. There is no one else in our region who has the acumen, and enthusiasm for classic German cars that they do. As vintage BMW owners themselves, they fully understand what it takes to keep our old cars running perfectly. GCR is an immaculate, well managed shop with very talented, enthusiastic employees who really like what they do and it shows in how they interact with customers. The bottom line is the quality of their work, and it continually exceeds my expectations. My most recent service was a rebuild of my '85 European M635CSi engine. It is a complex, high performance engine that is a challenge to set right, and it now runs as new. German Car Repair is a trustworthy, first class operation in every regard and if you have a classic or modern German performance car you will not be disappointed .Service: Engine repair
