I have new Lexus and tired of paying the dealership prices for the services. A friend of mine suggested that I take my Lexus to Bill st BG so I did and Bill was very nice and accommodating. He printed out what exactly was involved when doing my service for my car at 1,500 miles along with what the price would be to perform this service. I left my car, Bill called me around lunch time to tell me the car was ready to be picked up. I questioned him and asked did it need anything else? Bill said no everything looked good, so I had to ask him again. It doesn't need anything else? He said no again and asked me why I would ask him that question for a second time? I said every time I take it to the dealership they tell me I need a cabin filter for $200. He paused for a second and said no do you smoke in the car or have you been smelling something in the car that smells out of the odanerry? I replied no but told him that every time I take it into Nalley they call me to inform me that I need a new cabin filter and it should be replaced now. He replied saying we look at the cabin filter when doing a major or minor service and also blow it out with compressed air he said yours looked fine but when we do the 30k service we will look again and possibly it might need to be replaced at that time. I have confidence in this shop and know they have the knowlage to service my high end luxury Lexus. Nice tot find an honest shop that knows what they are doing so close to my house. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bill and his team at BG Autocare for servicing their car honest compadent at a fair price. Give them a shot tell them the guy in the Lexus recommended them!

They are genuinely good people. The best part of my experience with Gary and Bill is their honesty. Unlike dealers, they will tell you what is needed to be done now and what can wait up front. Their quality of work is also really good at a reasonable price. These Guys are phenomenal!!! I've always said if you can find a great auto mechanic and plumber your life is good. After using a couple of places in my area I was referred to BG Auto by Salton Auto Sales ( I used a couple other places they recommended in the past as well) and I am a customer for life. Two examples of why. We brought our car in for an issue that NEEDED to be fixed right away. Quoted $800 for the repair and told them to do it. A couple hours later I get a call telling me that this repair would be covered by a factory recall and take to dealership and pay $0. How many mechanics would do that? I don't think many would. Could have easily done repair and I would have NEVER known. They chose integrity and honesty over $$$$. Second, brought car in a few weeks ago for an issue and repair. Was quoted approx. $700 and most of it was labor. When we went to pick up Burb we were told that there were two different types of engines and the one we had, they didn't need to do as much work and the cost was only $450. Again, we would never know if they didn't tell us. During pick up he brought up a concern but said we didn't have to do it right away. When we start to hear a certain sound then bring it in. They could have said we need to fix right away. Remember this is Christmas time. What small business owner doesn't need revenue in this economy? Rest assured they will only repair what NEEDS to be repaired and will charge a very fair price. Every time they tell me what it might be before diagnosis I look up repair cost estimator online and their price ALWAYS comes in lower. I have the best auto mechanic but still looking for that elusive plumber on the same level. There's a reason they are a completely unsolicited 5-star rated. When asked where I could leave a review they weren't really sure. All about being a fantastic auto repair shop and not social media hyperbole. Great general repair shop that can handle the big repairs as well as a much larger franchise shop! Quality work is all I've had experienced here and I'm glad I found them. Get in line early, the only job I've ever heard of being turned away is because of crowded bays and too many ahead the new customer. I'm actually glad to know they take the time needed to do it right and make sure the repairs needed are complete and last as long as they should.Thanks Gary, Bill, and to the repair technicians for great service and repairs from routine to full rebuilds! Always worth the wait!

I have had great experiences getting my car serviced here. I heard of them because a family friend had been using them for years and were pleased with their work. It didn t take me long to figure out why! I was told at another shop that I was going to need new brake pads. I told them what I needed, they took my car back and by lunch they called me saying that I still had good pads to use and to come back in a few months. Up to that point, I had never had a car place tell me work wasn t urgent. Next, my starter went out. We didn t know what it was at first, but they figured it out promptly. Installed a new one for a great price. Unfortunately, it turned out the starter installed was faulty. They didn t skip a beat. They got a new one and stood behind their work and replaced it and covered labor for the new replacement starter. It s not about being perfect. It s about handling yourself when life happens. Moral of the story, I trust them and I highly recommend them.

BG Auto is great. Always quick, always reasonably priced. They re just good people to work with.UPDATE: 7/21/2020: Had another issue with my car. Took it back BG Auto. They consistently are professional, kind, quick, and helpful. I cannot say enough good things about these guys. Where it's so hard to find good, reasonably priced mechanics in the North Fulton/South Forsyth area--these guys are a diamond in the rough.

I have used BG on a couple of Occasions. They replaced my alternator and replaced my radiator as well as some old hoses. Their prices are unbeatable and they are honest. They have never tried to push unnecessary repairs on me. Was recently referred here when I was having car trouble and let me tell you, I'm glad I stopped by. Bill (owner) was extremely knowledgeable and after inspecting my car, he walked me through what the next steps would look like to get it fixed. Pricing was very fair and customer service was exceptional! They did a great job on my car and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Thank you Bill and Gary for everything!

I have used this mechanic twice now. Excellent results in both cases. The first time I had a busted radiator. The Infiniti dealer estimated $1,700.00 for the radiator repair and cautioned that I would likely also need other work, like the radiator thermostat and hoses. So I was expecting a bill from them that would be well over $2,000.00. BG Auto Care did the job for under $200.00, same day, two hours. That was 30,000 miles and 3 trips to Florida ago with no problems encountered. The second repair at BG was a replacement of a bad wheel bearing this week. For days, I could hear and feel all the symptoms of the wheel bearing going bad and I knew what it was from past experience. I was driving by BG Auto Care so I figured I would stop in and see if I could get on the schedule, maybe the next day. They said leave the car with us. It was done in an hour and a half, excellent price as well.

Dealership quoted me close to $5,000 for repair of my vehicle I took it to b&g for a second opinion and now my vehicle is being repaired for $700. Be careful when dealerships quote you on more than your car is needed and make sure and get a second opinion to verify that things aren't being repaired that do not need to be repaired. I highly recommend b&g for this service or just go there first.

They,sold us a new raidiator and after repairing our old radiator and we got the car back we had to take it back the next day and we were then told we had a blown head gasket!it would have been nice if they had told us that before we spent a Thousand Dollars on the radiator replacement so I really wouldn t give them any stars and I certainly wouldn t take my car back to them!

BG Autocare is the perfect place to take your car. I ve been going here for general maintenance and oil changes for about 3 years now. Recently, my car had a factory recall and while it was at the dealership getting the recalled airbags replaced, the dealership came up with a list of $2500 worth of maintenance they said my car needed ASAP. I brought that list to the guys here at BG Auto and they took a look at each item and my car for no cost, then told me all they recommended was a $30 cabin filter. The dealership had listed things such as a severely leaking axel seal that these guys were able to take one look and call bs. There were no leaks!!! When I picked my car up, they gave me an estimate for the other general maintenance the dealership wanted to do, but BG but recommended waiting to do those things for another 30k miles! The quote they gave me was $700....less than half of the stealership! Long story short, trust this place with tour car needs.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance

My car had been sitting for several months and would not start. A local mechanic could not determine the problems nor get it to run. BG Auto Care had me on the road in a day and the quote was very reasonable. Have returned for an additional repair (blinker fuse) and was in/out in a hour. My heating and air conditioning company has been sending our fleet vehicles to Bill, long since prior to my employment. Over 20 years I believe. Billy and Gary are a couple of the most honest friendly and thorough mechanics I have ever worked with . They really value and care about our vehicles and us as a customer. These guys are fantastic, seasoned veterans of car repair. I've had my cars repaired by Bill for the last 12 years and he is always a joy to work with, as is Gary and Kenny and Merrick. These guys are not in the business of upselling which is very refreshing. Great Experience! Two hours from home, we showed up at BG Autocare at 4:45 on a Friday afternoon thinking we would get the "we're about to close" speech.What we received was smiling faces and professional service. People that have been in the service side of business for years, know their stuff and actually care about you as a customer. Just wish they were located on our side of town. Highly recommended!

Reliable, Dependable and Reasonable!!!I am very pleased with BG Auto Care. I past more than a half of dozen automotive repair shops before I get to BG Auto Care but it is more than worth it. Oil Express and the Ford Dealership tried to convince me that I had multiple leaks in my 2015 F-150 with less than 60k miles. This was going to cost $4,000 at the Ford Dealership, so I wanted a second opinion. BG looked at the truck and found that it was purely a sloppy job by Oil Express and they splashed oil as they poured it. These guys are straight-up and honest. Very few shops like them anymore!Services: Engine repair, Oil change

Bill and team are awesome!! we have decided to own an older SUV out of warranty (BMW X5 - 2011) to keep costs down and BG Autocare has been less expensive than off-market German car specialists and they deliver high quality work in agreed timeframes. We highly recommend BG Auto!!

My mom is in town because I am about to have a baby and her car had a notice come up about low tire pressure and we needed to get it looked at close to my house and we found BG Auto Care. They checked EACH tire and filled up the ones that were low at ZERO charge. Thank you for the AMAZING service Bill. My husband and I will certainly head to BG Auto Care for future automotive needs. Much like a visit to the doctor, taking one's car to a mechanic can be an anxiety inducing task. If, like most people, attempting to figure out what is wrong with one of your most valuable assets makes you feel as if you're diagnosing yourself with whatever WebMD decides best suits your symptoms (which in my case is almost always cancer) then BG Auto Care is the Johns Hopkins for your vehicle. I am often hesitant to enstil my trust with some mechanics due to the unfortunate horror story one often hears regarding someone ripping someone else off etc. Luckily, thanks to Bill Gowdy and the guys at BG Auto, I never have to feel that feeling of skeptical helplessness. They are honest, forthcoming, reliable and most of all knowledgeable. And best of all, even given the most unfortunate circumstances for whatever hunk of metal I bring to them, my bill never even comes close to resembling what I own the Doctor after my body breaks down due to poor maintenance.

I have taken my cars there since they opened. I totally trust these guys. They'll check with me before doing repairs, give me options to save money, even tell me what I might be able to do myself. I've been frustrated with a LOT of other shops. These guys are good.

Honest and experienced! I always take my 2002 Infinite to them and get quality service at reasonable cost everytime. They won't overcharge or do unnecessary repairs.

This is the only shop that would attempt to solve a problem that was baffling me on my Honda CRX. No other mechanic wanted to attempt a diagnosis. I took it to Bill and he had it knocked out in about a day for a very cheap price.Service: Engine repairService: Engine repair

Dropped in to have a mirror I bought off eBay installed on drivers side after I hit a post, Bill took it in and had it done in 15 minutes and charged half what the competitors down the street wanted to charge. Excellent work at an excellent price!

Took my vehicle there because it sounded like a cylinder was missing. 2x I brought it here, Charged me $1400. Still didn t fix the issue. Brought it to Herberts on Castlebury and it was fixed in 2 hours. All it was was a igniter on the back side of the engine.
