I drive a 1994 f150.. When you say "1994" most shops get scared. They are worried about rusts and bolts breaking off. NOT TGN! They have they most reasonable prices in the area. They charge a honest wage for honest work. I provided my own parts and the labor was more than reasonable. I had other shops in the area quote me in the neighborhood of $800-$1200 for a relatively simple repair. Not only did the guys at TGN get it done same day (I was expecting to be without it for the weekend and pick it up Monday) , they did quality work (one hose clamp right up top needed to be tightened when I got home no biggie at all a couple turns of the flat head and I had no more leaks) and they only charged me a fraction of what I was quoted by other shops. They have became my go to mechanic!

I brought my vehicle in to have a new exhaust put on in December 2021. From that point until April 2022 I had to return approximately 5-6 more times due to the exhaust falling off, the vehicle being overly loud due to the exhaust, and the check engine kept coming back on coding as catalytic converter. They had my car for 4 months which left me walking to work with my son in all elements and having to find people to help me get my kids to their activities. They were finally able to get my check engine light off so that my car could pass emissions (my birthday had come and gone during this debacle). I was excited to have my car back but I didn t have it back a week before the check engine light came back on throwing me a catalytic converter code. At this point I m at a loss. I can t have my car in the shop indefinitely trying to get it fixed. I m hoping to eventually get it into another shop to see if they can actually fix it. I essentially paid for a job that didn t get done.I was torn about how to rate this business because I want to give them less stars because I m still driving a vehicle that isn t technically fixed. However, Gary, I believe the owner, did work to try to fix the problem and did offer to loan me a car after a few months of having no car.Service: Exhaust

We took our car in for new tires, oil change, front-end alignment, brake flush and diagnostic testing. The techs were great. The total was just as they quoted. It is really great to be able to trust a repair shop with your car and trust they will honor the price they quote.

The service was fast, however, they left a rag under the hood of my car, and I found out later that they cut my wires, over charged me for spark plugs and a cylinder replacement, that was never replaced. Also a cylinder from my vehicle ended up missing and one cracked after they returned my car.This has been a horrible experience. I had to get the spark plugs and cylinder replaced... again...and now my car has more issues due to the cut wires. They had electrical tape attaching my wires!I am literally beside myself. Please find another location, as this one on Wade Green is closed. They simply moved work no forwarning or notice to customers. Just very shady and dishonest.

So many things these guys did made my experience really awesome. I called to ask about availability and the the gentleman on the other end was extremely polite. I expect the repairs to my vehicle to take over a day, but they had the job wrapped up in just a few hour. They even shuttled me home so I didn t have to wait for the job to finish at the location. After I received my vehicle everything was running better than when I bought it and I couldn t be happier. Really swell job gentleman. Originally I visited TGN Auto Care when my oil light came on,, and I recently had an oil change.. It was concerning so I stopped by TGN to resolve the problem. I walked in, and immediately I was greeted by a couple of employees. It was definitely a friendly greeting. They checked my car and said my oil level was fine. No charge for their help.Once I needed another oil change I knew I was going back to TGN!I went 8nside and I was greeted by a man that I didn't see on my last visit. He ended up being the owner of that location. He helped realize that I will go to TGN for all of my auto care needs! He was so friendly and hospitable. He is very knowledgeable and professional, especially in auto care. Thank you Ron for providing me with an incredible experience!

I also received a replacement radiator hose and coolant. The Staff and Mechanics took very good care of me, including the work done on my car. I felt welcomed and so pleased to hear that the customers safety out on the road is their highest priority. Reliable group, friendly and courteous! Last but not least, I am extremely satisfied with the quality of work performed. I highly recommend and give the Team 10 stars. Thank you! The only reason I gave them one star is, they were open.I can not believe the other reviews were by customers. My experience was they took 26 hours to do a one hour job. No one seemed to know what they were doing, from the write-up guy to the guys that did the work. They were unprofessional, disrespectful, incompetent, unorganized and tried to charge me 3 hours labor for a job that they spent one hour on, not good. Hopefully they did the job correctly. I kept hearing a loud noise from my car, and I went to my usual place, Honda dealership to have them check it out. When they drove it around they said they couldn't hear anything. I drove out of state and when I returned the noise was so loud I thought it was my tire. It was my brakes, so I found this listing on Google search & was very impressed by the reviews. I gave them a call and they got me in right away! I was greeted by the a very personable gentleman who listened to me and then educated me. He pulled my car in, showed me what the problem was and then it was fixed. I was super impressed and I will be back!Great Work! Thank you!Services: Brakes, Brake service & repair

Please stay away from this place at all costs. Bringing our car to this shop is the worst decision of our life. A couple of weeks after bringing the car here for wheel alignment, it started making a really bad clunking noise. Since our mechanic was closed, we decided to bring the car back for inspection. We inform the staff that we are having problems with our wheel bearings and ask them to check them. After their inspection, we were told the rotors and brake pads were found to be the problem, not the wheel bearings. They took TWO days to fix them. On the morning of the scheduled pick-up date, we called to ask when we could pick up the car. We were then told that the wheel bearings needed to be replaced. As a refresher, we brought the car, to begin with for that reason.As it's dangerous to drive with bad wheel bearings, we agreed to have them fixed. It was promised that the car would be done in one day at most. They again took TWO days to fix them because their tech was having difficulty. We noticed smoke and clunking sounds again when we picked up the car. They said we just had to burn off the oil from the new pads. After a few weeks of driving, the clunking noises become more severe to the point where we think the car may break down. This time, we brought the car to our mechanic instead. You guessed it, it was the wheel bearings.Our patience has run out at this point. We called to find out what work had been done to the car. In response, they stated that the parts had been ordered, and the technician had been paid to attempt to replace them. Then they asked us to bring the car back for another inspection. Having driven the car for a long time without a properly functioning wheel bearing, we are not taking the risk of driving the car back there. The wheel bearing job was not refunded and they insisted we bring the car in with faulty wheel bearings so they could take another look at it.It was not acceptable to us. Seriously, what kind of mechanic would ask you to drive with faulty bearings? The owner and business partner's contact information was then provided to us. After numerous attempts, we finally got a call back late in the afternoon. It was 10 in the morning when we started calling. The owner, Rob, said he would call us back once he got more details from the shop. He called at 5:35 pm and left a voicemail with the same answer stated above and said we had to bring the car in. He did not pick up the phone when we called back four minutes later and sent a text saying he would call back. As of 8 pm, we have not heard back and the mistake has not been corrected.Typically we are supporters of local businesses, but after what happened, we wanted to make everyone aware that you should bring your car here under any circumstance.

When I started having issues with my truck I took it in to TGN and they made sure to take care of everything that was wrong and what may be an issue in the future. I know most auto shops will tell you that a million things are wrong so they can over charge you, but not at TGN. The word that I have never used to describe an auto shop is FAIR, but that s what Gary and his staff are all about! They guarantee all of the work that they do on their vehicles and you never feel like you are being taken advantage of or getting a bad deal. Having to get your vehicle serviced when you aren t expecting it can be a stressful time, but TGN took all of the nasty aftertaste out of having to get my car serviced! I would recommend this shop to anyone that needs something as small as a battery or as large as engine repair to the TGN staff. There will be no shop that will do any work on a vehicle that I own as long as TGN is up and running and with the service they provide that will be a long time!

Fantastic experience with TGN Auto! Every staff member is friendly and professional. They take the time to breakdown what is going on with your vehicle and don't pressure you into making a decision. As a female, it can be difficult going into auto shops, but I felt extremely comfortable with TGN Auto. They took care of my breaks, oil change, battery replacement, and engine light. My battery went out on me. I went to O'Reillys on Wade Green to purchase a new battery and installation but due to diffulty they weren't able to install. Found TGN Auto Care, via Google, and they saved my life. They were still accepting walk-ins and they did outpatient surgery, in record time, on my baby and installed a new battery and fog light that was out. I am definitely pleased with their service, customer service, and wait time as a walk-in! I highly recommend their auto care shop, and they definitely earned 5-stars plus more with today's service!!Service: Battery

I visited tTGNAuto using a Groupon I had an oil change and tire rotati on done in addition I had two bulbs replace my DRL bulb and my blinker and also my windshield wipers. Everything was done quickly and professionallyAt each point prices were quoted and I was never up sold hAs a female going into an suto shop alone you want to feel comfortable. TGN and made eme feel comfortable . Th staff there is super super friendly I would highly recommend them and I will be returning

TGN Autocare is the typical auto place where they will mark you up 150%, be incredibly rude, and just plain lie to you in order to turn a profit. If you value your wallet you will not come here. This all goes double if you are a woman/femme presenting. And I thought this would be safe to come to as a woman since it s one of the few places that have woman on staff. I guess I was wrong. When I got my car back it wouldn t even start and as I m waiting for them to take care of that 2 more people are having the same problems. Their car still have issues.

Small business feel with people that go above and beyond to help you. I needed my car serviced before heading down to Disney world and the head honcho really associated with that as he said he had been to Disney 50+ times! They gave me everything at a reasonable price and in a down to earth manner. They are now my go to mechanic in the area.

Driving from Florida to Michigan for a funeral of a family member and lost my transmission in my 2015 Chevy Tahoe on the same exit as TGN Auto Care. With my truck dead in the middle lane of 4 lane traffic, the owner of TGN-Rob Smith pulled up beside me and asked if I needed help, and I agreed for him to help. He quickly made a call to his staff and they came running out to stop heavy traffic and push me and my truck into the shop. Within minutes his staff diagnosed that my transmission was gone and began making arrangements for ordering replacement parts. All business and very professional. Rob knew I needed to get to Michigan for the funeral and he started making calles to rental car companies and even had his son drive me 15 minutes to pick up my rental.The level of care I recieved was inspiring, as it is uncommon nowadays to be taken care of so well.A week later I returned to the shop to pick up my vehicle, and Rob was away on business, and at first I was concerned that the sevice would be differnent without the owner present, but the staff was on point and everyone pulled together to get me in my truck and safetly home.I cannot rave enough about the culture of TGN Auto Care, and give Rob and his elite staff my highest praise and recommendation.Thank you!Services: Transmission, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair
