I recently purchased a vehicle, but within less than a month, it encountered serious issues. Just six days after acquiring it, I had to arrange for a tow. Then, a mere two weeks later, another tow was necessary. It's frustrating to realize that within this short span, preexisting issues that the dealership was undoubtedly aware of have come to light.Scott, it's disheartening to feel taken advantage of in such a vulnerable situation. It's evident that the car was not in the condition it should have been when it was sold to me. Your eagerness to accommodate me, such as allowing a delayed deposit payment, now seems more like a calculated move to close the deal rather than genuine customer care.It's disappointing to believe that the dealership knowingly sold me a faulty vehicle. Rest assured, I've already sought legal counsel to address this matter.

Do not buy a vehicle from them. They mislead you to think everything is fine with the vehicle but It will not be. They will smooth talk you to sign asap. They act in bad faith knowing the car is not safe to drive. Do not believe their inspection reports even given in paper. I've got a legal counsel to sort this matter. Kyle, Porter. Was shopping for a new SUV, called Rick and verified the one advertised on the webpage was available. I explained I had about an hour and half drive, Rick had the car ready for me to test drive, and he even stayed after closing time to allow me to get the cashiers check, and trailer to tow the car home. Rick personally helped me load the vehicle on the trailer, and had all the paper work ready to go, when I returned from the bank. Best shopping experience I've had in a long long time.. HIs prices on his vehicles are mostly all below book value, so you are sure to get a great deal, we sure did !!!!! Thanks Rick!!!!!

Friendly owners with good inventory to choose from. My son bought his Mustang from them. Got it for a great price and have had no issues with it. Very happy with our purchase and experience at Smart Cars.

Buyer beware! I bought a Jeep Wrangler from SmartCars that was said to have been checked out and in good shape and it was far from that!Shortly after we got home, the alternator failed, followed by needing a new clutch. None of the fluids look like they had ever been changed except the engine oil. The rear end fluid was so bad that there was metal in the fluid! The rear shocks were leaking and needed to be replaced. The front crank seal was bad and to add insult to injury, the catalytic now needs to be replaced. All told, it needed almost $5,000 worth of additional work! The guys are nice to deal with but these cars get little to no vetting and seem to go right from auction and straight to the lot. Make sure you get a pre buy inspection like I should have done. I emailed the dealer about my concerns and never received a response.

Purchased an 06 Wrangler online several weeks ago. Was told by the owner that the Jeep is in great condition and there were no issues. After the purchase I was never contacted by the dealer to determine if I'd even received the Jeep. In the days following, the serpentine belt broke. The alternator was cracked and and had to be replaced. The jeep has a parasitic drain on the battery that has yet to be found. Engine light is on, rust on frame, and the jeep has a bad wobble at around 55 mph. Hate to mention the stains on the seats as well. Again, I was specifically told by the owner that there were no issues with the vehicle. Fact check this guy. I would certainly expect a car dealer to be more honest and upfront with issues especially if someone is buying sight unseen. No integrity.

Bought my Jeep from the team at smart cars. It was very nice finding a family owned dealership where the guys did not pressure me and were honest. They gave me a fair trade on my Tundra and a great price for my Jeep. I had done an extensive internet search for Jeeps in my criteria and got so much more than I could have anywhere else. As a matter of fact the blue book value was above the price of purchase! They do a great job buying vehicles so they can pass the savings on to you. I am a local Pastor and will be recommending them to anyone who asks me where to go to a fair and honest dealership.

I bought a vehicle from Smart Cars as is. I pulled out and got onto 75 where I had a blow out. When I called Ron, he jumped in his truck, and brought me a new tire and changed it for me. He did not ask for payment and just said thanks for your business! I have had no issues with my vehicle going on a year. It was a great purchase. I love my new Jeep. I love the service from Smart Cars.

This dealership is awesome!I'm from the Chicago land area.I couldn't find a jeep without rust. That left me running from state to state. These guy not only had great vehicles. But customer service and Maintenance was super! Rick I would like to again thank you and your wife for a great price, customer service, shipping and just that down home country welcome.Any body look for great service and car.Get smart this is the place to go!

I have always loved the older box style Jeep Cherokees.. This dealer had about 9 or 10 different ones some with low mileage and some with higher. I finally after about the 4th time stopping in the dealer found the one I wanted / could afford. After driving it around for about 3 weeks I found it had a small oil leak call them and there mechanic Jim was very helpful and fixed the leak for a reasonable price. Might move up to a jeep wrangler someday and this lot has many for me to choose.

Do NOT buy anything from this dealership. I purchased a Jeep two weeks ago - after having to repair the brakes right away, the check engine light came on. Palmer Jeep said. "Someone" sold me a vehicle with a known cracked cylinder head which requires the engine be replaced. I called Smart Cars and the owner wouldn't talk to me and the salesman said he feels bad but that's it. Warning- bring an educated Jeep mechanic with you to thoroughly review what you're buying.

Great local place to check out a reasonably good selection of jeep and Land Rover and other used cars. Most seem to be in above or average condition and they have a on site mechanic that was very helpful when I spoke with him about a jeep Cherokee XJ that I was interested in buying.. I Haven't purchased a SUV yet because I am trying to save up enough cash so that I won't have to finance / witch they also have available. I will be back to buy when I can afford / thanks Jim and Ron for all the help yesterday!

Purchased a Dodge Ram 1500 pickup for smart cars about a week ago. I love the way a dodge truck sounds and drives! Ron helped me with financing the vehicle and helped me drop off my vehicle I drove up to there office home. Think of this dealer next time you need a nice used vehicle.

We bought a car from Smart Cars after a horrible car accident that totaled are previous vehicle. Within a couple of months had to replace the fuel pump which cost over $500. Then 10 months into owning our new preowned car the transmission went out and that cost $5000. We've also had to replace the thermostat housing 5x since we've owned this horrific lemon! Lastly, the valve cover gasket is now leaking. It's been one horrible costly expense the entire time we've owned this car. Not to mention the lovely car payment we make monthly. We have been completely ripped off and have since acquired some additional debt trying to keep this thing running. I highly recommend NOT buying from this dealership at all!

Just bought my second vehicle from Smart Cars INC.. Had a Jeep Wrangler I purchased form them 4 years ago. Traded it in for a Land Rover and the wife loves it! Thanks for the quality cars and good customer service!

Currently, I have had nothing but a positive experience with Smart Cars. Ron climbed under an vehicle for me and took some pics, and volunteered a few minor flaws (as are normal with used cars), and took pics. That is how to earn trust. Having already had a good experience in the middle of a possible sale, I appreciate Ron and his quality customer service.

Bought a Jeep Commander here last week. We found the vehicle on Thursday and needed it by Friday morning. They were able to quickly get us approved and provided a warranty so far I LOVE the Commander! Ask for Ron.

My experience here was great! It was my first time financing and Ron my sales man was very patient with me and made sure I was getting a good deal. I got my dream truck from here, a 2013 Tacoma, and it has been absolutely amazing!

Personalized attention, straight-forward answers and a comfortable place to purchase (and sell) a vehicle. It was worth the ride up there from in-town and I was able to wrap up the deal in one visit. David the sales guy was experienced, knowledgeable and a straight-shooter. Traded in my truck for a Land Rover LR3 that has been running like a gem since the purchase date.

I recently bought a Subaru at Smart Cars Inc and exactly 150 miles after I drove it off their lot the engine failed. I bought the car from them 'as-is' so they were under no obligation to work with me in any way. And they didn't.That is who you will be buying your next car from if you shop here.

Have a trusted mechanic check vehicle out prior to purchase. They seem to conceal big mechanical issues with small, temporary quick fixes. Buyer beware. Tried to shop local but Carmax is more trustworthy for those not mechanically inclined or with someone to check out prior to purchase.

I went with my boss here today. 8-27-2016 and was looking at a 2014 Jeep with 30k Miles on it. We were real interested in getting it for my sister and when we were inspecting it we noticed a leak on the front end and asked our sales rep about it. To which he responded it doesn't have any leaks so we suggested he get down underneath and look with us and he got an attitude with us. He then told us we were the type of people that they didn't want on there lot. I wouldn't send my worst enemy to these cons. Beware and be careful because they obviously don't care about their customers. Because we were a bit dirty from having worked on our equipment we were unjustly treated.

Easy guys to deal with .. called them up because I was buying out of state & answered all my questions over the phone with no issues. The Land Rover I was interested in was just as described when I flew in! Drove it 11hrs back with no issues.

I bought a diesel silverado with 103,000 miles. I drove it 2 days less than 50 miles and found it had 3 bad injectors and 2 cracked fuel lines after having issues and mechanics look at it. They do not stand behind there vehicles. You may get lucky or you may end up having to pay 5700 dollars more like me.

This DEALER posts his vehicles on Craigslist quite often under the category "by owner" so if that's any indication of their integrity you might want to take this into consideration. I understand by reading some of their reviews that they take vehicles in on consignment but it's still a dealers lot.

Theses people are rats, drove 7 hours to check out a vehicle they had on the lot. The details spoke highly of the vehicle but when I got there there was scratches on the hood the seat was ripped and there was rust all over the bottom of the vehicle when the description said "100 percent rust free" vehicle was terribly over priced. Don't waste your time dealing with theses scabs.

Clean vehicles and prices are reasonable to comparable used cars around. I Just stopped in to take a look at some pickup trucks they had at the lot. The sales guys were very friendly and easy going.
