I would like to start off by saying Shawn and his crew are amazing. He s very understanding and always willing to work with you no matter your financial situation. The work he does along with his staff, I ve never had the experience I ve had with doing business with these guys. Keep up the good work!!

I've used this mechanic shop two times: once to have my turbos replaced on my Ford F-150 and second to have my oil leak from Upper cam gaskets or seals whatever replaced and both times I receive the same experience.it seems as if the owner is a one-man show and he has a lot of work over his head. It really makes it hard for him to communicate with the customer what's going on as far as like keeping them updated.both situations I had to call the shop several times, about a week or so after the repairs have been initiated and it seems every time the owner was "about to call me" but nevertheless; my last experience was not really too well, because I was charged about $1,000 (which included the tow) and he replaced the seals from the oil leak and the mechanic did NOT bother to do an oil change?when I got home, I saw my oil was still completely black and you would think that when you do a repair where the oil LEAKED OUT of the vehicle-- an oil change would be included with the repair-- but I guess not.and not only that; I feel I should have been advised that I may need a engine replacement before spending $1,000I would have felt a little better making that decision other than knowing that, my engine can still fail on me at any moment, after this repair....but it is what it is.

Took my car in for an engine replacement.Price was good. Work was great! I ve had my car over a month with not a single issue. My car runs like it s brand new. Thanks for the great work!! I ve recommended 2 people already that s also have had work done. This is a shop you can really trust!

Great shop! We were driving through Acworth and my truck shut off on the highway. Called them after hours hoping to leave a message. But the service manager answered. He set up a tow and the next day got me back on the road very happy with the service! I recommend them

These folks are great. My daughter was in the area when she began experiencing some engine trouble. I found them through a Google search and she was able to make it to the shop. It ended up just being a loose radiator cap with coolant spewing onto the engine. They topped it off and gave a quick look-around to make sure it wasn t something else before sending her on her way, no charge.

My boyfriend and I are not from here, and we had something happen to our car driving through Georgia. Not knowing anyone or what to do was difficult for us in that moment. However , everybody in North Georgia Automotive was super helpful to us. They were able to get us out in a timely manner as well. We will definitely reccomend this location to all the people we know in Georgia! Thanks again y all

We took our bmw X3M 40i to get back brakes there. The staff was very nice, and very efficient!!! I would definitely recommend them!!! They will be our go to place!!!

I had an issue with my girlfriend's 2017 Mitsubishi Mirage that I couldn't get anyone to work with me to get fixed. She had bought the car knowing that it had been in a wreck but believing it had been repaired. In reality the dealer she bought it from had only repaired it enough to get off the lot. It's a wonder that it hadn't fallen apart before now, 4 years later. Anyway she hit a deep pothole and the entire bumper fell off and the light was smashed. Not having money at the time to repair it we opted to replace the front bumper ourselves as that was really not that hard of a job. However when we looked at it closer we realized there were other issues that required the core supports to be replaced that would require welding that I was not prepared to do so we were looking for someone to repair the structure so we could replace the bumper and get the car back on the road. We had all the parts for the structural work but body shops would only take the job if they could do the entire job which would be around $4K or more depending on what other issues they might find.I was referred to Sean at North Georgia Automotive as someone who might possibly take on the job which he did, ultimately doing the work in just a couple of days for less than $1,000. They will do work other body shops just will not do and give you a fair price for doing it. You can't ask for any more than that from any repair shop.

Very disheartening & disgusting to charge $15k to return a car to a customer that was unfinished. Why quote a price and not complete the job in its entirety?? While also knowing the work was being completed to honor someone who had transitioned to the other side. You guys are heartless. & You all should be ashamed of yourselves. 0 stars.

Great mechanic!! Very honest, straight forward, and quick. I took my Mazda in because the check engine light was on. The mechanic found the problem was with a unplugged connection on the engine. He fixed it and didn t even charge me since it didn t take him that long.

I would highly recommend. Great people. I don t really care about price because I can actually trust them. I have had tons of work done on my dodge, my oldest brings his Toyota here. My youngest will be bringing his future vehicle here. I called this morning spoke with Shawn (Sat. W/ no heads up) my youngest is buying a car can you please look at it for us. Without hesitation he tells me to bring it by, he said of course we will check it out for you . I absolutely love this place.

I honestly don't understand why they have good reviews. I had my car there for more then 2 years.i was never given any updates i had to keep calling to be told "almost done". After getting the paperwork I just wanted to get my car out of there. Got my car dirty inside. I have handprint stamp in the paint and they partially painted the grill. I did not go back to get it fixed because I didn't want for it to be stuck for another year. Such a disappointment

I went to this garage fix the engine lights. They took my car right in and worked on this for hours. Charged very reasonable price and good skills I passed the emission test at the second dayI went another time for my daughter s car AC They fixed just right. We paid affordable price. Now it runs enough cool air .I would like to give the business owner Shawn the thumb up ! He has very high skills for fixing your car. Highly recommendServices: Engine repair, Air conditioning

Sean and his team are amazing!! I had to replace my sons AC Compressor and these guys did a great job. The work was completed on time and for the price I was quoted. Would highly recommend them to anyone.

Sean and his team are Amazing!! I had to replace the Engine on my 2013 Chevy Equinox. Never being in this situation before i was skeptical not knowing what to expect. i knew i did not want to get another car note at least not right now. I came across NGA and WOW! Sean not only took the time to explain and share his years of knowledge. He really stands behind his work. It's been two months and my car is driving great! So happy with my decision. Shawn and his crew did an amazing job on my older van's transmission. They took their time and did it right. That to me is very important. I would highy recommend their shop and work ethics. Great job ! They even loan you a car while your's is being serviced.

I would recommend this company for engine replacements. I have had my 06 S40 back for a little more than two weeks, and she is running good. The customer service was great, the responsiveness to phone calls was great, and the people are friendly. Feels like they want to do the right thing by you, which was the most nerve racking thing when initially making the decision for someone to do this work. So far I have been more than pleased with the experience. Thanks guys.

I found NGA online after my engine blew and left me stranded on the road. This happened after over a year of paying other mechanics in my area and a well established auto repair shop in a nearby county charged me thousands of dollars to do the same repairs over and over again. Almost every week they were fixing something in my vehicle. My engine was just repaired in March by them and by July it flatlined with us on the road. I got tired of what I felt was gender scamming and called NGA. I was concerned about how far they were from me, but when I read the reviews and their services listed I decided to give them a call.Shawn and his staff were very understanding, helpful, and empathizing. He assisted me with securing financing and also gave me a loaner vehicle to get me around my daily activities. He also sent a tow truck to get my vehicle that was approxiamtely 52 miles away.He fixed my engine and front end and explained to me all the do(s) and don't(s) regarding the issues with my truck, and how to avoid these expensive repairs. My ride is now quiet and smooth. It is sad that I have to drive 52 miles to get a honest job done, but it was worth every mile. I wish I had found them sooner because all that money I previously wasted could have split this bill, I now have for some real work done, in half. Thanks to Shawn and his team, I am now riding with confidence instead of fear.Services: Tires, Engine repair, Wheel alignment

I just picked up my car from Shawn. He did a great job and the price was incredible. It's hard to find a trustworthy mechanic, especially those of us that know nothing about cars, and I really felt taken care of. My car wouldn't start so we didn't know exactly what was wrong with it, so Shawn and Bill from another location spent many hours diagnosing my issues and they kept me posted throughout the process. I would recommend them to anyone.

My experience with this company and the owner was a positive one. From the moment I called to have my car towed, until the work was completed- I received great customer service. The office staff, the owner, the tow truck driver, or anyone I came in contact regarding my car-treated me kindly. I have experienced a lot of issues with my car- from the engine, to the radiator-all sorts of stuff, but the owner was always upfront, honest, and told me like it was- cant hardly find that type of personality (especially in the "car repair " industry). I appreciate the work, the cooperation with my payments, and the overall kindness shown. I will recommend this company to anyone that ask. Thank you

Would not recommend he knew I needed a timing belt but still had his mechanic drive my car just to snap the belt and now i need a new engine which he quoted me for dam near 6k then when I tried to pick my car from shop (sitting) he added extra charges like diagnostic fee (160) when he told me 60 plus tow (170) it came up to an extra 350+ then had the nerve to say I could ve charged you more for it sitting since storage when they re the ones who broke the belt lol DO NOT GO HERE THEY DONT KNOW HOW TO DIAGNOSE

North Georgia Auto did a great job placing a new engine in my car. Whenever I ve called or went by, Sean does a great job explaining the parameters of my car s inter workings. He also stands beside his work. He required I come back to do a check up on my engine and he was very helpful and knowledgeable about what to expect. I d go back in a heart beat, he s a straight shooter with fair prices, and great work! Thanks North Georgia Auto!

We have been working with North Georgia Automotive for years now. You can not beat his prices and service. When my car was wrecked I took straight to Sean. When we needed a transmission, timing chain or general maintenance on both vehicles , you won't find a better place or prices!!! I recommend all of my friends to him. He has saved us thousands over the years. Thanks for always being there!

I have never made a review online let alone a negative one until now. The reason i am doing it now is because im looking for a shop to replace the engine in my lifted truck for the second time and i keep seeing this shop pop up and they did it the first time. I was loured in by the low price and free towing but you get what you pay for. I was pretty confident in the shop after speaking to shawn the first time. When he told me he could install a used motor with only 60000 miles on it and guranteed a warranty of a certain amount of miles or time. Once they finished i went to shop to pay and asked for some documentation on the motors miles so when i sold the truck i could prove it was low miles but he wasnt able to provide any documentation at all and once i paid he then told me that he cant stand behind the warranty because its lifted which i can understand the extra stress itputs on the engine but you dont take someones money then tell them that. you tell them that before you do the work and take their money. Which was super shady in my opinion. There was no going back at that point though so i got in mytruck they just repaired to leave and crunk it up and the belt was squeking so loud and they lubed it up to stop it from squeking. I drove home and noticed an oil leak so i had to take it back to their shop to fix it. All was good after that until my motor slung a rod prematurely not long after and shawn. Told me he couldnt do anything about it.. That engine replacement cost me over 5000 dollars and im right back where started.

I could not have found a better shop to service my 2004 Honda Civic. My car sat for a year until a friend suggested I call North Georgia Auto. They picked up my vehicle from my home and replaced my engine and clutch in November 2018. My Civix has run really well every since. Sean is very nice, professional and available to answer any questions. They stand behind their warranty and commitment to customer service.
