I brought my truck in to have Discount Tires pull out a nail and plug the hole. They said it would be free (which I was impressed). After two hours of waiting, they said they could not repair and my only option was to replace the tire. I went to Mavis across the street and they repaired for $30. What really got me was that one of the Discount Tires managers said they could repair any hole that was in the middle of the tread as long as it was smaller diameter than an ink pen (he pulled out one of their logoed ink pens). As you can see in the picture - the puncture was made by something smaller then one of their pens. Seems like they lure you in with "free repair" and then say it's not repairable to sell you a tire. Time wasted and very disappointing.

Gus, and the staff are really nice! They were very busy, but they communicated how long it would be. They had me in & out which was very appreciated. Not one person was just standing around. They really do care about what they do, and this place is definitely somewhere I would recommend. I ll definitely be back!!

Couldn't be happier. Ordered online and had an 8:45 am Saturday appointment. Arrived 10 minutes early and had all 4 tires installed. I was in my car driving away at 8:49 am. Must have lucked out that they were not very busy because I got racecar pit service from the crew. Best tire buying I've had in over 35 years.

I've been using Discount Tire for probably 15 or 20 years and Acworth. I've only had one incident with them in all that time and Gus promised to make things right. The time came for him to help me out today when I had an incident with one of my tires and true to form he came through with flying colors. The whole team there is fantastic and bend over backwards to help you out. I've told countless people about Discount Tire as well as family and friends and will continue to. I highly recommend Discount Tire in Acworth. Great job guys thanks again!

Called to schedule an appointment, they said they didn't have any available, but was accepting vehicles because they had alot of staff. Then I asked them what would be the wait time over the phone , they claimed an hour and said I can come in at 11:30am. I arrive a little after 11am, and it is 1:15pm I am still waiting here. Do not come here they will lie about the time to get you here instead of just being upfront with the wait time. If a customer is asking for an estimated time of completion and honest answer should be given, so the customer can make an assessment whether to start the service. Also, 1 hr beyond the estimated time of completion is unacceptable. I won't be returning.

I am a long time customer of this Acworth, GA store for 18 years and 5 sets of tires on two vehicles. I made an appointment to have a tire rotation and rebalancing of each wheel and rim. I was very aware that my tires are worn and need replacing but was not prepared to buy tires today. In the near future, yes, but wanted to simply get a rotation and rebalancing until I return for the purchase of new tires in the very near future and after any necessary service work on the vehicle. I wanted to get as much life as possible out this set of tires. One front tire has a small amount of unusual wear which is why I wanted it switched to the rear - common practice. I was aware of the issue and told I have an alignment problem. Due to that wear, I was then told the service cannot be completed unless I buy new tires. So, they are happy to sell me tires regardless of a supposed alignment issue - of course they are. I am 68 years old with diverse mechanical knowledge. I was also told that my steering wheel post may be out of alignment? An issue I have never heard of in all my years of driving and being intimately involved in the service issues of numerous vehicles. This sales person took me for an ignorant old man. He said these things in the parking without the vehicle being inspected. My point is - I feel I could have been accommodated for the requested service considering my longevity as a customer. This vehicle is 20 years old, high miles, very reliable, still chugging along and driven to and from work. I left disheartened especially since the person never even bothered to look up my patronage in the system or consult with management. I understand store policies but sometimes a little bit of exception to the rule imparts huge satisfaction to a very loyal customer who was more than willing to make another purchase. 17 years of good will from a loyal customer was simply disregarded in a few moments of interaction. I said I was leaving and the person acted like he really could care less since he wasn't making his commission from me. Discount Tire has lost a loyal, long time, good customer who has recommended numerous new clients to the store. I have typically been satisfied with service and price, but not today.

They need to monitor the tire pressure area more. I know they get busy, but the line kept growing. Maybe a camera on that side of the building would be helpful. We usually are pleased with the tire service. The manager is awesome.

Shout out to the team here at discount tire, acworth.Was coming home on a Friday after work when a large piece of metal got stuck into my trucks tire and went flat in mere seconds.I had roadhazard purchased on these tires through discount tire.I had my ram 1500 towed to this location, the staff went above and beyond to source a tire from another shop and have my truck ready by 10am the next day. I have 35" AT tires, so there not exactly super common.I just want to say thank you for ensuring my livelihood was back in my hands within 24 hours.The guys working here are the real deal.

I called and asked how much a tire is, i was told $60. I drive up there and ask for the representative that i spoke to and he brought me in and told me the tire was $69 and asked did i tell you the $112 price or $98 price? Which i was obviously confused, he told me my guys have to get paid which i understand and am cool with but it was the low price offer to bring me in then almost doubling the price when i get there. Then the 2 hour wait for a tire that s off the car i asked if it would be mounted for that price and he said no; thank you Matt, you wouldve sold 4 more tires to me in about a week but you lost a customer

Great, well organized, customer service catering tore shop. I have followed the manager, Gus, over to this store from Hiram years ago. Gus has been the absolute greatest. He and his crew have been top-notched with the care of the services they provide. I always feel special and like a VIP. THANKS so much Gus, Austin, and Nick for everything.

I took my truck yesterday for a complete tire balancing, everything went well, until I notice a lot of silver dots all around my truck and I washed the truck to see if help to take it out, but NO. And my steering wheel was full of grease. Terrible experience, I would never recommend thus place

From the minute I pulled in the parking lot, parked and got out of my car, someone was waiting for me and greeted me. As I came inside the store, I encountered the friendliest group of associates. As I was taking care of the payment, I could hear music and associates singing in the shop. Clearly these guys enjoy their work, the people they work with and the environment they work in. The sales associate are friendly and very polite.I have not seen this level of customer service in a while. I highly recommend Discount Tires in Acworth, GA!

Discount Tire is the only place I trust for wheels and tires! I have purchased rims for prior trucks as well as tires themselves in the past. My current truck needed new shoes bad, so Discount Tire is the only place I went! Staff is knowledgeable, quick, efficient, provides quality information in a non-sales format. Don t let a painter fix your plumbing problem, and don t let a plumber paint your house. Let the experts do the job they re suppose to do! Leave the tires to Discount Tire! Keep up the awesome work, Acworth store!

Love love love these people! I've (and family) have been coming here since they opened and I'll never go anywhere else. Always have had a first class experience. Today I got new tires and wheels that surpassed my expectations! Billy is the man!

Staff is super friendly and they always do good work. My issue is my car not being serviced at the appointment time. My appointment was for 345, car wasn't taken back until almost 5pm. I was told they were running behind because of walkins. It would be nice to maybe get a phone call letting me know they were running behind, rather than having me wait an hour and a half.
