I hate to give such a low review because they seem like great people but I spent 1460 to have oil leaks fixed and now my car is leaking worse.. oil was visibly dripping on the drive way.. now it s dripping down the drive way & multiple drips. .after diagnosis and waiting a couple days for repairs, i paid around 1460..I immediately noticed my oil was still leaking upon pickup.They looked at it again & said ok it s actually something else that ll be $450.. they originally changed my spark plugs and valve cover .. saying it had to be fixed bc of the oil leak . All of that to have my car be leaking worse than it was and now let s try something else. I bet it s the oil pan.. because it leaks only right by that oil pan section.. no one has mentioned that they said well oil flows down .. so I guess that means I need to fix every other part til I get to the bottom. I don t know I was going to bring it back in but I just decided not to this week. I don t see why they couldn t have ran the fluid through the engine and find out all the places oil was leaking from and have all the true diagnosis & possibilities from the beginning. I also don t understand why they don t check to make sure the problem is fixed. I came up there and noticed it was leaking almost immediately after cranking and looking under the car.. that d save ppl a lot of time and energy wasted. Now I feel like I m out $1460 & my car is driving the exact same way & leaking more. They did fix my door handle though.. that s the plus. But it was only about $100 of what this oil leak cost me to not be fixed & now I m disappointment because I can t be spending 1460 & still have a messed up car and out of all this money. Never paid this much & still have the issue turn out worse It ll just have to keep leaking. On the plus side the customer service is great, they pick up the phone.. they re nice people & I m not trying to bash their company.

Wonderful mechanic and Mike was spot on. Kind, helpful and fair priced. Will not go anywhere else. FYI, if you drive vintage models and need a auto repair shop that is knowledgeable and spot on "Bobs Auto Repair is the place to go".

Where to start? We had been taken advantage of, lied to and cheated by German Car Shops . A friend and fellow customer gave me Fidel s number.We talked and came to an agreement, and we will be a lifetime customer.I can not begin to tell you the relief it was to find honest people, willing to actually do mechanic work, not just change parts and hope for the best.If you like the truth and a positive buying experience, go to Bob s Auto!Plan a little extra time when you pick up your car. There is a great looking earring establishment almost directly behind Bob s.Next time we will know to allow more time.

This facility worked on my cars from time to time. Recently, the shop provided repairs to my 2006 Chevy Equinox. The nature of the repairs centered on overheating caused by a leaking radiator and related accessories.Repairs was done but, the SUV is still overheating, and the reputable repair shop is seeking to diagnose issue that is still persisting.These folks stand by their repairs consistently.I am encouraged. My daughter who drives this SUV believes in Bob's Auto Repair.Service: Air & cabin filter replacement

Mike did full inspection. I thought it was rear main seal. It was the valve cover gasket. The boot cover was ripped leaking grease onto trans / muffler. Front brakes replaced.He did a great job and is trustworthy business. Totally recommend this place! They got me in and fixed all in same day. Nice, personable guy that explains everything out. He gets good prices on parts and forwards that on to his customers. He ended up charging me less than the price he quoted me. My brother is not from this area and he recently needed a complete brake job on his 4x4 truck, so I sent him to Bob s Auto and told him to ask for Mike. He was very satisfied and impressed with the quality of work and the fair price for the job they did for him.I got a synthetic oil change and all new tires, mounted and balanced on my car just this week. As usual Mike took great care to perform a thorough job and now my car glides down the road so smoothly.I know that I can trust Bob s Auto to do a professional job and deliver great service at a reasonable price and that is why I take my car there and I highly recommend others to do the same.Lori ButlerServices: Tires, Brakes, Oil change

My family has been taking their cars here for years. I was in a situation and needed someone I could truth. As a single mom budgeting is critical. They gave me options and stood by their work. I'm so happy to be on the road again with no check engine lights. The owner and manager are amazing and the technicians are quality. I'll be going here ANY time I need a repair or estimate. They work on all kinds of car, their services is timely and the results are quality.

Now 3 yrs later May 2020My family and extended family have used Bobs Auto for many many years.My car was throwing crazy codes on my dash board. I dropped my car off not knowing what was wrong left the car for a few days and Fidel and his team diagnosed the issue and fixed the problem. The best part was the vehicle inspection report text which had pics and notes of my concerns and techs recommendations. The pics were greatly appreciated and the communication between Frank and Fidel were great. I will be dropping the car off this week to complete the work needed. I recommend them all the time.This comment was from 3 yrs ago 2017Was very pleased with the service today. Also keeping me informed without having to call up there that was appreciated. This experience was way better then the last time I was there.

Stopped by to ask if I can pay to have a bug screen installed on my vehicle being as I am disabled. Two of the shops counter persons came out to see what was required to do this and they installed it at no charge.While I did not note their names, it is nice to know that good hearts are still out there to help others in need out of kindness.Thank you Bob's Auto Repair. Will certainly return should I ever be in need of auto repairs and will refer others to try your place of business.

We were told our Volkswagen Jetta needed a new air compressor because the a/c was not working. The vehicle didn t have a lot of miles so we questioned the diagnosis. We decided to try out Bob s Auto Repair after a recommendation from a friend. They were able to find that the car had low freon and a freon leak. They could not find the leak but informed us of that so we were aware.We saved about $800 by getting a 2nd opinion at this shop. Fast & friendly service.We have a shop we have used for a long while but will definitely consider this as a back up to that one in the future.Service: Air conditioning

We called Bobs to go pick up car from park and take to his garage to look at and get running. We are in NY never met Frank he graciously towed car to his shop got it running. Couldn t have been more pleased with service he kept us informed of every move. Fee was very reasonable Recommend very highlyService: BatteryService: Battery

I am absolutely not pleased with this mechanic shop. My car wouldn t start so I had it towed to them; when it got there I told them what happened and to look into an overheating problem I was having. Mike called and told me my battery terminal was rats nested and the reason for overheating was because of a blown head gasket so I told him to go ahead and fix it and he quoted me at $1625.57 at first. I had to wait for a whole month to get my car back in the midst I was calling them every week to see why my car was taking so long. They called me one time just to tell me another problem popped up but failed to tell me the cost of the problem. After a whole month I called them just to find out another problem popped up so they just went ahead and fixed it without consulting me. My final total was just shy of $2000 and on top of that to this day my car is still failing to start on me at times which was the main reason it went in the shop. Granted yes they fixed my overheating problem but failed to fix the problem it came in to their shop for. This shop lacks communication with customers, fails to focus on the original problem, and lastly underestimates the knowledge of women.

We have given this place a few chances and been disappointed each time, first we had a Door window Repaired. They failed to reconnect our mirrors so I couldn t adjust them at all. In addition the door handle does not work correctly since the repair. The second service was a complete repair of the steering system 1700 later and it leaks all over my sisters driveway and I get stuck with no power steering 20 miles from home and in a tiny parking lot, it was scary. His reason I was trying to save you money right 100?! I d much rather have a correctly repaired vehicle, thank you very much. It is of the utmost importance to have our midwife car moving and in good repair. When a Mom calls in labor, we have to get to her without any issues! I have so much respect for everyone that works at Bob's. They value us as a customer and they do an amazing job at keeping our vehicles running in good order!

I took my diesel truck to Bobs auto repair for a diagnosis due to it running rough. It turned out to be an injector. Mike was extremely nice He recommended some general maintenance to do. These are very honest decent people. You will not find a more honest facility to repair your car or truck.

So.... just got a reminder from mechanic advisor to have my brakes serviced and an oil change at Bob's. Hit a really sore spot. Earlier this year I scheduled an appointment to have my brakes done, and my battery replaced along with new battery cables and a new drivers side door handle. Great job on the door handle. However I returned home and popped the hood to see the same old battery. I returned the next day and they replaced the battery as they should. I returned about 5 days later because the terminals were loose.Note as well that the battery cables had not been replaced just the terminals. I Payed for new cables. Not for someone to strip back the insulation on old cables and put new terminals on. Still have the old cables by the way.On to the brakes... they were installed incorrectly. Within a week they were making a horrendous noise. Had to return to Bob's once again. I returned only as a last resort because no one else in town wanted to be responsible for Bob's bad brake job.They fixed the brakes. However having to return as many times as I did left me feeling pretty sour. They didn't value my time. Also didn't do what I paid them to. Yup. The old battery cables are still on there. Because there is no way they are ever touching my f$!@ING car again..I guess the jokes on me for letting Bob's waste more of my time by writing this review .

Bob's has been here for as long as I can remember, and I'm 63. They are full service mechanics with competitive prices compared to a dealer.

Had my nephews 2016 Dodge Charger towed to Bob's based on a recommendation. Frank was very polite on the phone. They took care of the tire issue at a fair price and we will use them for any future vehicle issues. Thank you!

I ve been going to Bob s for more than 10 years now; it s the only place I d recommend. The team at Bob s does a fantastic job, they stick to the estimate provide great customer service. And you do t up with a different problem 3 days later. Took my truck to Bob's because it wasn't running right. Bob's diagnosed it, installed a part and informed me that my truck was repaired. On the way home I felt the truck doing the same thing it was doing when I dropped it off but thought maybe it was something to do with the fuel filter I had them install. On the way to work the next morning my truck started doing the same thing that I had taken it to Bob's for. I called and informed Mike that the problem still exists. I needed my truck and couldn't drop it off until the following week, so I started looking online for a solution and end up figuring out the problem and fixed it. I once again called Bob's and informed Mike that I repaired the truck and what I did. I agreed to pay for diagnostic time, even though they misdiagnosed it, but felt that I shouldn't have to pay for the part. I informed Mike that they could put the old part back on. (Just a plug-in part) Mike stated that the part had a core and he thought it was no longer there and would find out what they could do. No call back and refuses to make their misdiagnosed repair, right. I thought I found a go-to spot for repairs but I could never afford to pay someone to guess with parts and then tell me that the vehicle is repaired, when it's not. These business practices will catch up with them...
