Damaged my daughter s car, no communication the 8 days they had the car, my daughter had to contact them. Go to pick her car up because they couldn t do the repairs due to not being able to use outside parts and the driver side back fender was destroyed! Asked them to be honest about what happened they were not! Sad someone would treat a single mom like this! Can t trust anyone these days! Maybe someone will be a standup guy and admit what happened to my daughters s car!!!

Took my daughter's truck in for a problem with it not shifting correctly. Owner was very quick with repair and very honest. He easily could have thrown in some extra repairs but he was honest and said it was only a 30 second fix and no charge. It is amazing to see an honest shop and it made my daughter's day (maybe year) that it was simple fix. She has been working on the truck the past 12 months getting it ready for her license in two more months. Thank you to all at Tranmission City!

Couple of years ago my son and I was referred to Tony to rebuild the transmission in his older car his grandmother have him. After he tore it open more charges were added to the bill. It leaked oil like crazy. He told us he replaced the oil pan and he didn't know why it was leaking. One day I got under the car, took a key to the oil pan and scratched it and took pictures. Returned to Tony again same oil leak. He said he replaced the oil pan leak is gone. Leak still present and the scratched up oil pan still there too. I would never recommend this company as he was caught in lies, took advantage of single disabled mom and 17 year old son. The transmission never ran properly and after returning to him over 20 times I just had enough. Had to share my story and hope others don't have the same issues we did.Service: Transmission

Good people and amazing service. We took my truck down there to be dropped off after hours and it was ready for pickup by the time I woke up the next morning. I would 100% recommend!

Unbelievable turn around I was guessing that it would be at least 3 or4 days before it was done. But to my surprise it only took 1 and a half day's and it is working fine thanks Tony!!

Great man running this place. I've been there twice now and both times he was more helpful and informative than pretty much any other mechanic that I've been too. I would highly recommend Transmission city over n over again. God bless y'all

We went to Transmission City after we had D+D transmissions work on our car and made a mess of it. Tony at transmission city looked at it and said he could fix it . He was quick getting it done. And now it runs like new and we are no longer afraid to drive it I would give him 100 stars and highly recommend them . Honest and reliable and they know what they are doing. Thank you tony

Unfortunately I had transmission problems and opted to have my transmission rebuilt instead of paying these ridiculous prices for a new vehicle. I took it to Mr. Tony and now my 14 year old car is running like and shifting like new! Tony is a honest and stand up guy who has a dedicated crew who has been with him and in the business of rebuilding transmissions for a long time! They made sure that my car was repaired properly and I am certain that it will continue to run smoothly over and beyond my warranty period. I highly recommend Tony and Transmission City to anyone who is having issues with their transmission.Service: Transmission repair

Had them checking my vehicle for oil leak between transmission and rear main all was good checked it out for me super fast the owner is excellent and very honest . Best place ever to go ......

Tony did a great job, and the pricing was very fair! When the fluids cost less than he quoted, he passed that savings on to me as well! I will definitely go back in the future! Great company and great owner!

I give five because the staff was friendly and the owner was honest and helpful. He couldn't do the work I needed because of my vehicle type but he gave me direction to get the assistance I needed.

As is with most tranny shops these guys are crooks.Charged $2600 for a rebuild and even after a few seperate visits to this shop I still have a bad tranny.Somehow they manage to get a lot of negative reviews removed I've noticed as their rating seems to change daily.Tony is a slimeball....this idiot told me 240� "was within spec"....what!?If I wasnt expecting him to stand by his warranty and make it right I wouldve bi**h slapped him right there in his parking lot.It never was right, I got rid of a vehicle I loved over this situation...couldn't keep throwing money atvthe transmission.Go elsewhere.Youve been warned.

He came highly recommended from a reputable tire shop I use my dealings with him led me to believe he's a super nice guy and was very honest with a diagnosis for a friend's transmission.

Called to request a quote to rebuild the transmission in my van. I was told they could not give a quote over the phone so I brought the van to their shop. Once I got there, the owner then told me 1600 dollars to rebuild the transmission without looking at the van. Don't waste your time at this place.

Very very poor service shop. I had my transmission built on 02/05/2017 with a 12 month-12,000 mile warranty. With less then 900 miles and 4 months the transmission is shot and they will not stand by the warranty. Stay far away from this shop! Good at taking money, not transmissions.

They were An Honest business . They informed me that Aamco was incorrect and trying to charge me for work I didn't need. Then fixed my transmission which is still working great, and saved me over two thousand dollars.

Took my 1997ford diesel on Monday for a seal that was leaking Tony called said had lot of metal in pan that planetary was going bad. I told him to rebuild he had it back to me Tuesday evening working great.

Took my truck to Tony today to get the transmission checked . Didn t give me any kinda run around , explained exactly why my truck was jumping & assured me it was fine . Thank God I don t need any transmission work but if I ever do I will go back .
