I went to Elkins to have my manifold replaced. I was very pleased with the service and work that they did on my 2016 Chevy Cruz! Their prices are extremely reasonable and every employee that I had contact with was very friendly and knowledgeable. They were also able to fix my car in about a day and a half and would have gotten it fixed even sooner than that, had the first new manifold that they ordered been the right one. They had to wait almost a full day for the right manifold to come in. I just picked up my car and it seems to be running like new!! I would most definitely, highly recommend this shop to anyone!! Elkins repair is the only folks I trust to touch my classic 80's vehicles. I have been going to Elkins for about 15 years and they have always treated me right. Of course, there are closer shops where I live in North Lakeland, but good service is hard to find, and the prices are always reasonable compared to other places. He has the same diagnostic tools they use at the dealerships at a fraction of the price. The owner Richard has been a mechanic for over 30 years starting at the Ford Dealership back in the 80's and he's just an all-around great guy. I don't trust any of my vehicles to anyone else.Services: Tires, Auto battery replacement, Auto power window repair, Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto A/C recharge, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning, Auto brake repair, Tire rotations, Auto A/C replacement, Wheel alignment, Transmission repair, Air conditioning, Wiper blade installation

I experienced excellent service for my SUV. Richard and his crew.. It was a wonderful job and I am very satisfied with the outcome. I would recommend this shop to anyone needing repair on their vehicle.

It's hard to find a honest Straight up auto mechanic shop these days but I actually found the shop that I will use from now on fare upfront rates Quality workmanship very professional and the owner is pretty cool I highly recommend this shop to anyone

THE PLACE WAS CLEAN AND THE STAFF WAS VERY FRIENDLY. THE OWNER RICHARD IS AMAZING AND IS WILLING TO HELP YOU ANYWAY HE CAN. THE PRICE WAS THE BEST I FOUND AND THEY WAS ABLE TO WORK ME IN AND GET THE JOB DONE.

I was towed to Elkins for a repair and spoke to Richard and the moment he was easy to talk with and seemed like he truly cared till I got the estimate AND it was $2,100 at first but I continued to talk to owner and since we had a mutual friend that is a regular in shop the price came down to $1,800 on a 2010 compact car for a new resonator/catalytic converter, few fuses, splice a couple wires & a cv axle boot I provided so I pay the absurd repair bill that was 2/3 of what car was worth and was told it seemed to be running fine so i start car while I'm still at shop and the service engine soon light is on and flashing plus fuse box under hood was still opened so it was not running fine and code reader said it has misfire on cylinder 2 so I feel like they didn't use a code reader or test drive vehicle once allegedly fixed plus they tried to keep my old catalytic converter & I understand it's a business but that doesn't translate to SCAM/RIPOFF people and car still wasn't right after $1,800 that was originally $2,100 cause we are in Inwood not in Beverly Hills or Rodeo Drive for those kind of prices and still have engine light on and the picture is to see what a 1,000 looks like when i found it for $100 and to get fixed at another shop is costing me $850 to finally get to drive my car that was allegedly running fine but I have a update the cv boot wasn't installed also don't go here or you will be SCAMMED

Got my F250 transmission replaced at this shop, a big reason I chose this shop is there ability to reprogram ford computers in house at a way cheaper hourly rate than a Ford dealer. I received excellent service, let me supply my own parts, good price, honest, didn't try to upsell me, stuck to the deadline we set, and keep me informed when there was a broken part and was able to take care of it that day. Very happy with there work, will be back if there is something I can't fix on my own.

Richard is amazing and so are all of the employees that work there! They go above and beyond to make sure that you're taken care of and safe before you leave. I would recommend Elkins repair services to anybody who cares about their vehicle! Definitely who I'm going to continue to go to when my vehicle has any problems. We found this place online last minute in the morning when my car decided to act crazy they were quick fair in price and better than that my cars works perfectly . Few day later my daughter car broke right before she s moving .they when far and beyond to make sure her cars was working fine and fix any issues we are very happy with the service and the prices. No all the time you find a good mechanic on least someone recommended.

Despite being busy, Richard and the team took our car in after we hit a huge pothole, inspected, diagnosed and fixed it and had us back on the road 24 hours later. Excellent establishment! Got here at 4:00 with a front wheel issue - scraping and wear sound. They immediately jacked the car up and determined that the hub was bad (wheel had about 1" of in and out freeplay). They provided a quote, ordered the part and installed the new hub in 1 hour! I'd never been here before but will definitely be back for any repairs I need. Price was very reasonable, fast service and a great group of mechanics.

These people are phenomenal. We were just passing through but had had some car trouble. They fixed it, first thing, charged extremely affordable rates, and were good to our family throughout. Almost wish I lived closer so I could make them my go-to car place!

NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR FOR REPAIR!!!BEWARE OF SCAMMERS AND THIEVES!!!NOT BBB certified!!Took my car there for a transmission replacement and Gilbert assured me he would get my car fixed so I trusted him to work on my car for $2400. Not even 2 months of getting my car back I was having the same issues I had the first time so I brought my car back for warranty to work and once again Gilbert assured my car would be fixed but it took them almost 2 more months for me to get my car back. I just got my car back tonight and long behold on the way home I'm having the same issues AGAIN! At this point with money spent on rental cars and taxis uber rides to work I want my money back for the transmission repair that was never repaired! THIS IS A REPLY:I have pictures and text messages between me and your coworker name Gilbert while my car was at your shop for almost 2 months!!! They tell you they'll put in new parts and rebuild transmissions but instead they put junkyard parts in your car! Don't believe anything these guys say because even the "manager" Richard kept dodging me when I attempted to contact him and his people kept saying "He's out for a test drive"LOL. They are lucky they're not BBB certified otherwise I'd go for their license! Having spent almost $3000 for a transmission repair I would think my car would've been running new but that wasn't the case! HERE ARE 3 PICS SENT BY GILBERT SAYING "this is the third transmission" Obviously if you look at the pictures it's the same exact transmission oh BTW this was 2months later saying they put in another transmission!The first pic is supposedly the 3red transmission they put it, BUT as you can see the 2nd pic was taken in June and it's the same exact transmission and the 3red pic shows my transmission being pulled.

I was the store manager for the local parts store supplying them parts. My AC stopped working out of the blue so I let them look at. I was told my AC compressor was cracked which required me to replace it, my condenser and expansion valve. Nearly $1000 after parts and labor. I was a technician for 16 years prior to selling parts and got back to turning wrenches. Today with the lovely Florida heat kicking up I decide to get my car in the air and get an idea of what I needed to fix my car s AC. I had a blown 15 amp fuse... Nothing but inexperienced fly by night shade tree mechanics work there. I ll never recommend them to anyone.

TJ and the guys in the shop went the extra mile to help us. My son had broken down in the area (miles from home) and another shop down the street said they couldn't get to it for two days, but TJ said he'd take care of it right then for us. He and the other guys in the shop were eager to help and that kind of service is hard to find these days. The price was fair and reasonable as well. Would definitely recommend!

Rich and Gilbert are great mechanics they are top notch fixing ford trucks and other vehicles. Plus they treat you like family...they dont try to pump up prices and get you to overspend..would recomend to anyone who is tired of the games most mechanics play on hard working people

Took motor home there for service. Final price was as quoted. Most service was good but driving out I noticed that wipers weren't changed as requested; it was taken care of right away.
