We may be purchasing our 4th vehicle from D&D transmission all for four different people because we love the ownership and their honesty. Don has been amazing and stayed to his word every step of the way. Soon I will be trading in my that I got from them to upgrade to an SUV and it s because of the trust we have in Don and his parents. We even took a mustang we had gotten into an accident with and they fixed the fender for us at a great price.They are like family now and we can t wait to continue taking our business to them!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires, Auto glass repair, General repairs & maintenance, Body & Trim, Air conditioning, Oil change

The business gave me a good price for fixing my transmission seal leak and I live close to them so it was the best option I had. With that being said, I regret going to this mechanic to fix my car's transmission leak. They made it worst after they gave me the car back it was leaking almost a quart overnight. Gave them the car for a second time to fix the horrible work that they had done and it's still leaking... I'll never do business with them ever again, they have no clue of what they're doing. I feel sorry for the future clients that come looking for their services...

I have purchased 2 cars with d and d transmissions , don and his mom helped me through every step including obtaining insurance and getting my tags I have had absolutely no issues with my cars and I love them I also have 2 year warranty s on them he offered me . Highly recommend for allYour car buying needs . He also offers to fix little things like brakes and does oil changes .

Very good place to get your repairs done. It s a family business and Don and Danny are very good at what they do. Sometimes they are very busy and the wait time is a little extra but I think that s all over the country right now. Never take your car there. Horrible service, they don't respond to messages, they don't meet delivery times. My car spent 6 months in this workshop to resolve a transmission problem and it was not resolved. Many stories told, many unanswered calls and unanswered messages. I rented a car for 6 months because my car was with them. I spent 2 hours going to this workshop. I lost money, time and gasoline. Every time I was there they said they changed the part and it wasn't good and they ordered another one. Every day a different story. My car was exposed to sun, rain and dust for 6 months. It's rubbish inside and out, full of scratches that weren't there. I definitely do not recommend this company to anyone!!Service: Transmission

The only reason this place got one star is because there isn t an option to leave a NEGATIVE 100 stars. I got bullied into buying a car with their predatory tactics and high pressure sales after I handed them the money for the down payment I CANNOT GET ANYONE ON THE PHONE! They pretty much took my money and gave ran. Two days they have had my down payment when I said I want it back because I was going somewhere else they said non refundable!!! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE DONT BUY ANYTHJNG FROM THEM

Overall outstanding.I have to thank Don and his d&d team for everything.Excellent service and pricing. I brought a car in Kissimmee with lot of problems and Don help me to fix the problem with reasonable pricing . HIGHLY RECOMMEND! I PROMISE YOU WONT REGRET THE SERVICE.

I am very happy with the service and friendliness of this mechanic. I ve gone around to many places to have my car worked on, with each one having almost all the right qualities but always coming up short somewhere. This shop has definitely earned its place as my new go-to mechanic that I will take not only my car but also my family s cars to. The speed and price that they performed the repair was unmatched, having my clutch job completed within 24 hours of me coming into their shop while also beating any price I had been quoted elsewhere. The mechanic Don was knowledgeable on what needed to be done and the parts to do it, suggesting a luk clutch be put on my car to match the factory implementation. I wanted to keep the old parts, and sure enough the stock clutch that came off the car was a luk. Overall I can t recommend this place enough. I can tell Don really has a passion for this, and I fully trust him to repair my vehicle.

I absolutely love the quality of service I get here at D & D transmission. Me and my husband have been coming here for about 8 years. They do amazing work. They have do my transmission and I was 100% happy when they were finished. I have bought a car from them as well and I was very happy with they quality and price of the car.They treat their customers like family and they always take good care of me and my husband and all of our cars. I will never go to any other shop. Me and my whole family use D&D for repairs. We have a long drive from Sebring and is well worth the gas for the great service. Don and Danny go above and beyond and I definitely recommend for any and everything auto .

This was the first time I brought my car to a real mechanics and all I can say it I m happy I took care of my and my car and made sure I drove off with no problems people are over nice and Don who took care for everything for me was very nice and helpful the whole process.

Used this business several times for various repairs. They replaced a bumper and did various other repairs from and accident from a insurance claim to repair the damage from several years ago from the past. I still have this vehicle and am finding to this vary day the supair very very poor quality of work that they did to repair the vehicle. Unbelievable ! I would never ever recommend anybody use them for car repairs. THE PRICE THEY CHARGED WAS EXCESSIVE FOR THE ! POOR QUALITY OF REPAIR THEY DID. I called and spoke with Danny and he helped me with what I needed fixed he s very descriptive, also I had my transmission rebuilt they fixed my engine I also had my timing chain belt changed and so now my car runs great. My dad is a mechanic as well and he mentioned Danny and so he felt very comfortable trusting Danny becoming our family mechanic and now we recommend family and friends to Danny and don which is his son. And what s even better is that they do a little bit of everything and they will work with you. I definitely recommend d&d transmission if you need any body work, oil changes, any issues with transmission and even wanting to look into getting a new car.Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

Had my truck there over a month instead of working on it it just sat mind you this was after I was told it was fix. And within a quarter mile I noticed it wasn't fixed. They claimed they was working on it several different times but when I drove past noticed it hasn't moved and that the grass was growing around it taller. Well after losing my keys I had enough of it and decided to take my truck home with still a broke vehicle with super low transmission fluid and error code p0756 and 850 bucks poorer as they didn't refund me all my money back and now I have to buy another set of keys and key fob... let this post be a turn away point I'm warning you now. This place is a joke. If you still decide to go there after this then best of luck to you. I wouldn't even give them a star if I could.

The first time going there the employees are kind, and there is a man there by the name of Don who is really helpful and upfront about your car's needs. if you have any problems with your car that is the place to go ! I highly recommend him.

If you are thinking about going to D and D Transmission then turn and run the other way it s low quality work and high priced. They charged $1000 more than I was quoted I was charged $1900 for labor just to put some clutches in. I thought I was getting a rebuilt transmission. I took it to Transmission City to get the rest of the stuff put in and it cost me $2500, but the job was done right And my van runs great Now. D and D put in a rear seal after that it was leaking a whole bunch of oil and that s because I was told he put the seal in backwards stay far far away from this place.Service: Transmission

Can say a lot of negative things of this place, but I'm not going to waste my time doing so, just wanted to thank Don to finally refunded my money and wish him and fa. the best andhope they learn,once for all, to be honest.Today April 5th, 2023 had to come back and edit my review from couples weeks ago...Is amazing and very incredible what they did to my car instead of fixing a small oil leak that was coming between the transmission and the engine which originally I took the vehicle in for, (Sept. 2022) no only they worked on something else, after being back and forth, since Sept. 2022 to March 2023, and every time promising me that they would fix the oil leak, never happened cause every time I bring the car back home the oil leak was worse...once i got my money back, I took the vehicle to a high level mechanic and once they started working on it, it's incredible of the nasty job the performed...( got pictures and videos of what the did. Hoping that, the business who recommended me to them( (Firestone)would never recommend to no one else.This business works on base of lies, false promises, etc. Maybe because I'm a woman( Senior) they try to take advantage of me.Don( son) now I understand why after you refunded my money you texted me and called me several times bagging me to give you a last chance to have my car fix. You didn't want me and no one else to find out about the nasty job that you and your "good" mechanics, including Edwin, did.Thanks and may God bless you and family.

Bought my last 2 cars from this location. The last car I bought a week before Christmas and immediately took it on a road trip to see family 5 hours away. The car drove great with no issues and felt safe! From my experience this is the best location to purchase an affordable and reliable vehicle from an honest company!

Take your money else where they ask you to give them a 5 STAR so these reviews are not reliable.. I bought a car here for 7k and still so much to fix in it after I bought it, he overcharged me for a battery but I got it because my car was there so I had no choice.. He is kinda rude maybe its because they are caribbean but I found a better MECHANIC here in winter haven that fixed my issue SAME DAY highly would not recommend here!

If you're looking for a family oriented, "makes you feel right at home" kind of feel but at the same time- professional and trustworthy- look NO FURTHER! I called around quite a few shops before deciding to go with D&D. They gave me the best quote AND towed it to the shop for free! D said he would have my transmission fixed in 4 days.. (Yeah right) BUT let me tell you I was pleasantly surprised to receive a phone call that 4th day in the afternoon letting me know I could come pick up my truck! & No upselling! 10/10 would recommend and come back!Services: Transmission, Battery

Very great place. I was searching for a place to have my air conditioning service and check the knocking noise from engine. I called around and this place was open on Saturday. Danny was so descriptive also did not charge we when I asked how much. They found the air had too much free on and belt tension was loose. Nice place nice people got my transmission fixed loved it there. Don the son and Danny the dad were both very reasonable and listened to my situation and helped me with my finances and time frame. They really went out there way to help me. My transmission was broken due to a failed valve body and they replaced all my parts brand new and gave me a full year warranty

Mr.Don, His Family, & Crew Go Above And Beyond For Any New/Future, or Old Customer And I Can Guarantee You Will Always Leave Satisfied. You Come With A Problem They Are Ready To Get The Job Done. Just Like Us They Are People And Understand How Life Goes. So Trust Me If Your Having Car Problems Pleassseeee Take A Chance With D&D, It Doesn't Get Better Then Them!!!!
