I brought my 1996 Nissan Hardbody pickup to David and the guys to have transmission work done. I had brought a used transmission with me to have installed and without hesitation, they put it in for me. That was back in September. To this day, the truck is still driving great and taking me where I need to go. They kept me informed throughout the process and took great care of my aging vehicle. I highly recommend these guys for work you may need done.

I have been coming here for years since my transmission was fixed. This is an awesome place to come and the workers are very helpful. I only trust this store to do oil changes for me. All the workers should be praised for the help and work they do.

I was very very satisfied with the AAMCO Transmissions in Wnter Haven, David was very pleasant and very honest about the whole situation and his employee the mechanic who took a test drive with me was very nice and he explained everything. I had a great experience with this place. And this was my first time being there. I would definitely recommend this place To my friends and family and anybody else. Dave the manager was very kind and helpful when I had some issues with a repair on my Jeep. He went above and beyond to ensure that the issue was resolved thoroughly and kept me updated during the process. We had to get our 03 Chevy Express work horse over. David was super patient with me. I was a big stress machine. David never lost his cool temperment and professional demeanor.He also informed us about the availability of having our expensive job financed with 0% apr .For a small business like us, this was a blessing.The time of work took the estimated days that were told to give or take an extra day.It really takes a special place to deal with the customers at their worst moments, and I feel this Aamco did just that.Very thoroughal with the warranty process.We have had the van back for a few days, and it is running so smooth.Thank you, guys . 5 star from us

Sent an old fleet vehicle there for an estimate. We decided not to have the work done and they were really nice about it and very helpful. Were patient with us while we made arrangements to have the vehicle towed in order to sell. This company is helpful and ethical, I cannot recommend them highly enough. Thank you for all your help and hard work, and shout out to David.

I was very happy with the customer service that the Manager David provided me and the technician Gabriel was very helpful because he was able to translate in Spanish what repairs were needed to rebuild my transmission. David was patient with me and very informative throughout the whole process getting my transmission rebuilt. David also offered me financing options based on credit and no credit which helped me pay for my transmission repair. I highly recommend using this location for all of your automotive needs. I didn't even have to go into the shop. I called Stewart before calling AAMCO, and was told the price would be nearly $400. When I called AAMCO and spoke with David. He explained that my transmission service wasn't due for another 60,000 miles. Every other place was like, "bring it in as soon as possible," trying to get me to pay for a service that was not needed, just to top off my fluid. David explained to me the type of fluid I needed, and also the correct procedure when topping off my fluid. THEN, he paced me on hold and went to speak with a transmission service tech, to ensure I had all the info I needed.This is the type of honest automotive services that is so hard to find today.Well, look no further. AAMCO is up front with the pricing and service details. I would even go so far as to say, speak with David.AAMCO is awesome! I never forget the fact they just saved me a boat load of money. When. AAMCO of Winter Haven...totally ROCKS! I called and spoke with Dave told him the problem I was having with my car, and how I needed to get my vehicle to them but felt uncomfortable driving it. He said not to worry he made arrangements to pick my car up and within the next day he called and gave me a breakdown of what was wrong. He worked with me on the plan to get everything fixed, was very patient and understanding, not to mention their price was lower then 2 other previous quotes I had been given prior. I would trust any of my vehicles to this company. AAMCO saved ME & MY CAR...Go see Dave & Chris in WINTER HAVEN!!!!!

I have a 2016 Altima I had shops tell me they thought it was a transmission. I called AAMCO and David answered. He told me get the car to him he would let me know his opinion on Monday. He called just like he promised, he let me know that they thought some exhaust/ catalytic converter work would probably fix the issue. He contacted B&W exhaust and made arrangements for Steve from B&W to look at my car and then call me Tuesday when he has a chance to look at it. Absolute perfect customer service. Thanks David you have been a true blessing.

Transmission went out in my minivan the week I bought it. The dealership had it towed here, and I was a little skeptical at first. And then David called me - he is amazing at not only his job, but has impressive customer skills even while under pressure. I had my vehicle back in no time, running AMAZING! And they also kept me advised the whole way through. I've worked for dealerships. I wrote service for a Ford dealership before. David never once made me feel "dumb", he respected my knowledge and it made the process even smoother. I told him he has won a customer for life, I'll make the hour drive for routine maintenance just to have such a hassle free, pleasant experience!Service: Transmission

I used my 4 wheel drive for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I thought that you could use 4 wheel drive on the fly. So when it engaged, it struggled to move or turn. I took it to a local Chevrolet dealer where I bought it. They said that my transfer case was failing and would be around $4000 to replace. I took it to AAMCO in Winter Haven Florida. David the service Manager and his staff went through everything, and told me to come pick it up, that there is nothing wrong with it. Sounds like someone was trying to pad their own pocket. The whole Crew was very welcoming and straight to the point which made me feel right off the bat that I could put my trust in them! They were more than reasonable with the price to fix the problem my transmission had and they were also very quick and responsive! I have a 2008 Ford Edge that the transmission was going out.I did want to invest the money to have my transmission rebuilt due to the age of the car.I purchased a used transmission and it was delivered to David at AAMCO transmission in Winter Haven Fl.I explained to David I needed my car back as soon as possible due to my multiple drs. appointment ( weekly)David understood and AAMCO started work on my car immediately.After they started working on the car, they discovered my car needed some other work completed so they could complete the transmission installation.David called me and explained this to me, which I did agree to have the other work completed also. Throughout the time that AAMCO had my car in their shop, David kept in touch with me letting me know the progress on the transmission installation.To say I am very pleased with the work that was performed, and the ongoing conversations with David would be a huge understatement.I would not hesitate for a minute to take my cars back to AAMCO in Winter Haven, nor would I hesitate to refer my family and friends to this shop.I highly recommend David and the crew at AAMCO transmission in Winter Haven.Fast, very friendly, good prices is something you just don t find very often these days, other than AAMCO transmission,Winter Haven, Florida.Bill CulverService: Transmission

I want to give a huge thanks to David and Aamco technicians for a wonderful job. David went above and beyond to help me with my transmission repair from the breakdown all the way through the repair. He assisted with financing information and was knowledgeable about what was happening with my car. Great attitude towards customers and I couldn t thank you enough David. The end of 2018, the transmission in my 2007 Silverado decided it was time to give up. The guys there checked it out and agreed (felt weird, at first, seemed like they didn't want it to be the transmission as much as I didn't, I didn't want that expensive repair). I took that as a sign of an honest repair shop. I was kept in the loop about the parts they were waiting on and the approximate time lines.Fast forward roughly a year later. There was a one of a kind catastrophic failure within the warranty. It was towed to their parking lot. They once again, gave an informed fast turnaround.For a third time, roughly 2 1/2 years and teaching a daughter to drive later. It felt like was slipping and they had to verify before just accepting my money for a rebuild. Hit the nail on the head again, with troubleshooting and customer service. I cannot express how much I am impressed and will to take my vehicles there for transmission servicing. I'm shooting for just fluid and filter change though (that's a lot cheaper than a rebuild).Service: Transmission

I had gone to Aamco a month ago for a new starter in my car. Then it went out and Dave replaced it with a new starter under warranty. Plus find a hose that needed to be replaced. I am very pleased with Dave and his staff for being honest and helpful and not taking advantage of a woman driver. I will definitely be back for any problems that arise with my car.

This is what they did to my transmition coolingl line after they charge me around 3000 to fix it let me on I -4 with my kids 150 on tow +500 to clean the transmition fluid from I-4 will call them monday to see how they fix my situation really thinking to call a lawyer instead but will try to fix it first on the nice side of me will see if it work......update a 22.99 hose that they repaired cost me a contract of a 1000 a wk and webd i call them they dint care they want me to pay another 150 to take the pick up to them plus tried to say that it was not them guest what im not a lier and why i want to repair something that cost me 3000 to fix please they will know about me i have the lawyer in my house every weekend and my son is already studying the case so read this and get prepared you should honor your warranty andbtake care of your customers so we dont get to this but if i dont doit i feel that you will do it to other customers sometimes we have to do things so we can help others that dont have the luxury to have a lawyer or spend money to figth this type of businesses God bless ....dont try to look good after you did what you did you never offer me to get my car and i never touch my transmission you guys did and guess what transmission is not changing gears again so i have to take it to a mechanic again and this time i will replace it for a new one not getting halfway done and i know i still in warranty but i will burn the truck before i take it to you again update transmission did not last 10 months that is in top of the garage job they did to it

Had to bring car back (edit)2 times and after almost 2 months they finally got it going. But they asked no questions and warranted their work and were very friendly. ///Edit: First id like to say I did not mean any negative or derogatory with my first post and star review of 3 stars. However, David called offered some service work and/or oil changes, explaining his remorse for the time taken to fix the car. Like I said he was very friendly and helpful through the whole ordeal and we were very satisfied with his service and willingness to correct the issue, being aware none of what happened is directly his fault. I apologize for my upsetting initial review, but where it is just a description of events that happened good, bad or indifferent I will leave it. I will however increase the star rating to reflect the dedication of service and integrity. Thank you.

They are fantastic! David was wonderful communicated every step of the way for our truck that we needed the transmission looked at.
