A couple of years ago, I went to a gas station for air in my tire. The air machine didn't work. I looked across the street and saw Mike Roy auto repair. I drove across the street and asked Marcia in the office if I could get some air, as my tire was very low. She informed me that they had an air machine next to their car wash, but she had a mechanic come out with the shop air hise and fill my tires. I was so grateful. Shortly after that, I had a tire low. I brought it to Mike Roy Automotive. They plugged the hole where a screw was for only $25. Since then, I have had a few more plugs in other tires. This week, I brought my car to them for an oil change and wiper blades. The price was very reasonable. Also, Mike and Marcia are so friendly and just plain nice. They informed me I need 2 new front tires, quoted me a price, and now I am saving up some money to get that done. I love being a customer at Mike Roy Automotive!

Extremely resonable pricing. Mike worked on my car immediately, I just showed up no notice. Everyone was polite and professional. Mike went above and beyond with my vehicle. They was a very comfortable waiting room.

Worst place to go to. The lady in the front has no respect for anyone and the owner is disrespectful and does not treat paying customers with any type of Respect. They need to be shutdown so they know who keeps them in business. The customer should always be treated with respect. There are many other shops local who charge less and care more and communicate with you instead of working on ur car and telling you nothing. Read the reviews and u will see the pattern. They fix your car before telling you a estimate or the problem so they can charge you whatever they want and u cant turn it down bc job is already done.

Mike Roy always provides top notch service at fair prices and never ever disappoints. I say this based on the service I have received from him for close to 30 years even though I live 34 miles away and once in past had car towed. I always am treated fairly and respectfully and highly recommend him.Some years ago I had to have major work performed on my car. Knowing the quality, fair pricing and integrity Mike Roy has always provided for me, I did not hesitate to have my car towed 35 miles to Mike's garage. Mike had advised me more than a year before that time had come to replace my car which I probably should do within a year. Unfortunately, I did not at the time. Instead, I let my 15 year old Kia sit another year and a half in salt air while I was away. On my return, my car was not drivable. Mike and his staff offered several suggestions for my predicament and did not pressure me in my decision to have him repair my car in lieu of other alternatives. I decided the most practical for me was to have him repair my car which I gave away before I left once again for an extended period. Mike and his crew did an outstanding job setting the car right, making it safe for me to make some lengthy journeys over the next few months. Mike and his gang have never let me down. More than once I have taken my car for repairs at which time Mike made a quick adjustment under the hood, or something similar and charged me nothing when other garages told me repairs would be in the neighborhood of $200.00. Knowing Mike is "up the road" means a lot to me, especially knowing the quality of work I will receive and the fair price I will be given for that work. I recommend Mike Roy Automotive to everyone I know who is need of car repairs. Sitting in his waiting room in the past I have learned that people come from even further distances than I to have their cars serviced, some coming from northern US have said they wait until they can get their car to Florida and Mike Roy to have their car serviced. What more can be said about the consistently great service.

Over priced and rude. Low class counter girl looks like a bar maid at a dive bar and acts like one too. She's gotta be dating the boss cause no regular business man would have her dealing with people. Mike and his employees will NEVER give you any advice or warning about your car no matter how simple it may be. They won't even say buy a gas cap. I mean NO ADVICE. Just bring it in. There are several auto shops very close. Don't use Mike! Or get estimates and he will be the highest. I switched to auto care center right next door. This man gives you advice about your car and often does extra at no charge. He may add certain fluids or fuses you may need. things like that. A 600 dollar starter at Mike Roy was 325 at auto care center He also fixed my seat. It didn't go back. Never asked him and 325 was still the price. Mike Roy would NEVER DO THAT . I know everybody and deal with many people close to you. My word of mouth will and already has cost you Alot of business. It's much more effective than Google.

The outside driver's side door handle of my 1999 Toyota Corolla broke. I called and they graciously allowed me to bring it in the next day. Previously the inside driver's side door handle broke and I had a different mechanic repair it twice. However, his repairs only lasted a very short while. BUT I was truly blessed when Mike Roy not only repaired the outside driver's side door handle and the inside driver's side door handle as well. This time the repair was good and lasted. Mike Roy most certainly knows how to properly repair my Toyota Corolla. I thank God that Mike Roy knows how to do excellent repair work since I have also had other repair work done.Service: Auto body & trim replacement

I was going to try to use this business to do the repairs on my car. I call into get pricing details before bringing my car in and the desk lady scuffs and says we don t price over the phone . Wasn t even willing to give me an estimate on normal rates. Completely scam business. Clearly something to hide if you can t even give an honest price on the phone. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE. Go to a better mechanic whose willing to work with you

1st time there Mike is a honest guy explains every thing he's definitely a seasoned technician. My car was given back to me just as clean as when in dropped it off the repair was completed as expected. I gave 4 stars due to his over priced parts. I will use Mike Roy again.

Believe the negative reviews. They charged me $900 just to replace a starter, plus added on three(!) $115 charges to look for other problems, for a total of more than $1300. Never received an estimate in writing or over the phone. Next morning, the car wouldn't start, so they never found the underlying problem. Do not take your car here.

I've used this garage several times over the years and he wasn't always the cheapest but I've never had any issues with the quality of their work. So when my water pump went I had my car towed to Mike Roy's. However sometimes you feel like your being taken advantage of and in this case I was. They over double the cost of what they paid for the parts and almost doubled the guidelines for the average labor hours for the job. I believe a business should be able to charge an honest rate but that was not the case here. I was taken advantage of.

Mike, the owner, does a lot of work himself! I was surprised to see that he doesn't just sit around and bark out orders. I really like the integrity of the place. The employees, the shop itself.... everything gives a great, honest vibe. They did a thorough inspection and didn't try to hustle me. Mike Roy Automotive just earned a new regular customer...... ME!!!! THANKS GUYS!

Mike job was ok. But the price was to hi for a replacement of a alternator plug and diangnostic text. $613.45 NOTE : MAKE SURE YOU GET A PRICE BEFORE JOB DONE.

Both Steve and Mike s unwillingness to follow up as they promised has me baffled.I have been using Mike Roy Automotive for over 15 years and it s time for me to call it quits and go elsewhere.The latest repair was on my personal vehicle for which I just needed a new spare tire.I did most of the legwork for them including looking up the tire size and removing it from the vehicle as Mike would not.All I asked of them was to let me know in advance what model was available so I could make sure it was to my liking.They did not and kept my rim for 2 days never calling with specs or even letting me know when it was ready.I do not like the type of tire or manufacture that was used without my consent and Mike could care less.I never asked for a price even though he is required by Florida law to give such an estimate if repairs exceed $100.My repair was over the threshold limit.People have choices about what goes on there vehicle and I for one make those types of informed decisions.Mike did what he wanted to do and NOT what I wanted .bad call and shame on you.

This place has gone downhill and will take advantage of you and rip you off! My family and I used to come here all the time to service our cars. My Fianc�e s car died a few blocks away from here. I let her know to tow the car and have them fix it. 5 hours later, I call to see what was wrong. She said they still haven't told her anything. I called them to find out. They said that it was the starter and that they were already in the middle of fixing it. I asked how come they didn't let either of us know and what was the price. Their response was that they thought that since the car was towed here, we would want it fixed and they didn't need to let us know. They ended up charging DOUBLE of what 5 other mechanics in the area would have charged (I called around after hearing their outrageous price). They sounded quite smug about the fact they could charge that price since they knew we had no other option.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Don't even want to give them one star.Went there just now to wash my car and Their machine got stuck with my $2.50 in it and this guy tells me to go to another spot so I do and then they expect me to put more of my own money in..Like Hello it's your machine that just stole my money and you're not going to compensate me now. You'd rather I drive off with my car half washed because I didn't come with that much money.Wow what a service!!!Nice one Mike Roy.....

Wanted to take my car here for work. Needs oil change and a couple other repairs that I wanted an estimate on and a determanation as to what it was giving me the problem.My conversation lasted about 10 seconds with some woman as when she quoted me $50 for an oil change, I said that was too high, and she told me to go somewhere else!!!Guess I won t be using Mike Roy as my repair center!

Some of the best service and respect I've ever had from a body shop. I will only go to Mike Roy Automotive moving forward for work on my car. They were honest, ethical, and completed the work very quickly. Extremely satisfied.

Been to this shop twice for work I couldn't do myself (replace clutch and broken idler pulley) and each time I was treated well and I loved the work they did. Pricing is honest in my opinion. I will definitely keep them in mind I have a need for a professional shop for work I cannot do myself.

Went to Mike Roy my insurance company sent me there. NEVER FELT SO ALONE IN My life.the mechanic is not good. Never go back there again. What a pitty. TOO EXPENSIVE. Glad I ran out of the car repair place and never looked back.

I brought a used car and i am a complete idiot when it comes to anything besides pumping gas in a car. I knew the car had issues and decided to take it to Mike Roy because they had an agreement with a coupon group. They were very uup front and honest. They fixed my car right off the bat, they informed me that there are issues left but it was not imperative to tackle them now more like they just wanted me to know if something in the future happened im prepared. i always have this feeling that repair shops are trying to screw the little guy, i HONESTLY feel that this company does not do that! The fact that they gave me options and not forced me to complete everything right then and there was proof that they do quality work and are reliable folks. Positive experience, so much so ill be taking my little car right back when i have issues!!!!!

Have been to many place throughout the years. came here once before for my son car and mike told me not worth fixing or wasting my money to fix, that alone told me I can trust this place. So now a year later I have a srx 2014 that was giving me a bit of trouble so brought it in with mike was told sterling rod bent so he gave me my list before touching anything, Rod , alignment , oil change , air filter labor cost was a reasonable cost. compare to Cadillac dealership and got my car back in 1 day. Highly recommend this place to anyone . 5 star all the way

Be careful with these guys, I brought my car to them with a overheating problem and they managed to get the car to not even start anymore.I even told them all it needed was a fan(which it still does). I was told my computer was bad so I would not be able to drive it without replacing it, with the excuse they were able to wire up my ignition to the battery to get it to start and "fix" the overheating issue.At the end of the day I spent over $500 dollars and had to tow my broken car away.Over the weekend I was able to fix this issue within 15 mins and get my car running by fixing the shorted wires on the computer they exposed and turning the key.... They had my car all week racking up hours for there so called "labor" and half ass repairs, will never go here again.
