I highly recommend Ama! The dealership had quoted 1,000 plus and wanted to do extra work.Quoted by Ama for less than half the price and they did not suggest anymore work than what needed to be done. I will definitely be coming here for any of my car needs in future. An honest business!!

My family has been using this mechanic for decades BECAUSE they are honest, affordable & TRUSTWORTHY. They won't lie or add on extra fees, they are a true rarity in South Florida & I highly recommend this mechanic for all your car repair needs!I was NOT paid to give this review, I just thought to finally do this as I'm in need of a repair & just remembered that I've never done this before.

My truck needed a new ECM computer and the dealership wanted $1700 for the part. AMA allowed me to get the part from another retailer and they installed and programmed it for me. They may get busy at times but that's because their work is excellent and dependable. I will definitely be returning for future repairs.Service: ElectricalService: Electrical

I went here twice because it s my dad s mechanic. Both times I was given great service and a reasonable price. I listened to the way he talked to his other customers. He seemed like he was trying to help people and not overcharge them or have them pay to fix things that weren t broken. He s popular so you may have to wait to get an appointment but it s worth it. He works fast and is very knowledgeable.Services: Battery, Oil change

Terrence has always been fair with his pricing and has always made sure that I am satisfied with the work they completed. I have been bringing my vehicles to them for over three years now and I will continue to use them as long as I am in the Palm Beach area and they are around. I have had everything done from engine work to window repair.Thank you AMA for being an honest and reputable car repair shop. You just don't find service like this that often any more..

These guys are the best. They know how to fix a car and are reliable. You cant trust everyone with your car but I have trusted these guys with all my cars. They are reasonable with their prices and back up their work. I will always bring my car to them and only them. Definatley will recommend anyone I know to these guys.

Last month my 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe's V6 blew its main head gasket, causing such a serious breakdown and engine damage that warranted either replacing the engine OR declaring a total loss of the vehicle. It having 150k mi but the rest of car in perfect shape, went with replacing the engine with a used one that had only 25k mi. Terrence and his team did an engine swap that returned my SUV back with a whole new lease on life. It feels like a new car!! Also just put it to great test driving up and around the Smoky Mountains for a week.. oh so much fun! Kudos to AMA! Such great service, honest advice, and professional expertise, cannot see me going anywhere else from now on.Service: Engine repair

This was going to be my first time going to AMA Auto Repairs and I ll never go back. I have my vehicle worked on by there next door neighbor and needed work done on my BMW and was promised service and got a headache and frustration in return; 0% of energy was given to my situation and a total lack of concern for my situation. I waited 2 days for him to move my vehicle to his shop and when I would call for updates ( because they would never call to inform you about progress or follow up with you) I was left towing my car to Braman BMW in West Plam Beach and had the work done by professionals. Please don t waste you time, money, brain cells, and breath dealing with these people. I hope as many people see this as possible.

We had a really negative experience with this auto repair shop.My grandmother had been using them for all of her car needs since they were close by to where she lived. We live up on the Eastern Seaboard and were going to be driving her car from FL to Maine so we wanted to get a checkup on the car to see if we needed anything fixed. The car had been in about three months prior for a new battery and had the A/C addressed.After we spoke with the owner he agreed that that fluids/tires/brakes should all be checked before taking such a large trip. The owner then scheduled a date and time where he said he would pick up the car, check it out, make any fixes needed and return it. We confirmed on the phone as well as via email.The day came and he forgot to show up. My grandmother is 92 so everything is a production for her and it caused her a fair bit of stress. She called and he told her, in a rather heated tone, that the car was fine and he didn't need to check it. Totally different than what he had said to us on the phone.We called him, he admitted he had forgotten the appointment, agreed the car needed to be checked out and agreed to reschedule for the next day.He didn't come again. So my grandmother called again and he told her again that the car was fine and he didn't need to check it.He also said that his computer crashed so he could not supply any paperwork for the previous repairs he had done for her.Bottom line, to me they seemed extremely dishonest and disappointingly self serving, willing to take advantage of an elderly lady.Oh, and we got the car checked out by another auto repair joint and it turns out it was not fine - we needed new front tires, brake pads and rotors - which are all fairly key for such a long trip. The only good thing about it is our money will be going to the company (who I will also write a review about on Yelp/Google when this is all said and done) who did what they said they would do - show up.

Called in around 11:30 a man answered I asked if they could do glow plugs on my diesel the man behind the phone said NOPE gave no other words then hung up I called back and was blasted by old dial up sounds and beeps shameful customer service before I even came in the door

Took my Nissan here plugged up a reader to they said seems to be fuel injectors . Left my car here for a week NO PHONE CALLS , NO TEXT MESSAGES .Made it seem like it was hard to diagnose my fuel injectors researching online realizing I could ve diagnosed my car FASTER fuel injectors sitting right behind the valve cover they will play you if you don t know your vehicle never ever ever come here .

Honest, dependable mechanics for those of us on a budget. Unlike dealerships or national chains that try to convince you the car has half a dozen issues, AMA tells it like it is.

Gary is my mechanic and I trust him with my car. I have been going to him for a little over 2 years now. A coworker of mine knew him personally and referred me. They always answer the phone during hours and they work on saturdays.
