These guys are great!!! So I gave it a few weeks to leave my review and see how the car would do after they did the work on my daughter s car. I have had no issues at all. Calvin was easy to reach and very helpful. I would recommend these guys to anybody!! Just not this week cause I m taking my truck in now!! Lol!!

Came into West Palm from NC to visit friends. Had an air conditioning issue. Had a Friday morning appointment and was able to leave the car. Got an estimate in a few hours, approved the work, and told them I would be able to pick it up Sat morning. The bill matched the estimate and drive on out. Randall and the others were knowledgeable, professional and personable. They even followed up a few days later. Can totally recommend this repair shop.

Infuriating. Explained to these guys on the phone that my transmission was acting up. Explained everything that was going on with it. Explained that it revs really hard on gears 1, 2 and 3, and often doesn't shift out of 3rd gear. I get notifications on the dashboard that the transmission is overheating. Told them all this. They came back and told me the transmission needs to be replaced.I Explained that wasn't financially possible for me and asked if they were able to address the problems listed above, the problems that I initially brought it in for. They said "yeah we'll get it fixed up with the exception of the car not being able to go in Reverse. Also the battery needs to be replaced". No problem.I get the car back and the car is still having the same problems that it was having when I brought it in. It starts now but the transmission wasn't fixed at all whatsoever. Still getting the transmission overheating notification and it often doesnt shift out of 3rd gear. The bill was $636. I paid $636 for a battery to be replaced. Useless garage. I beg you, go somewhere else.Also, attached is a photo of my bill where I was charged 300 bucks for a battery. When I saw this initially and asked if I could bring my own battery and just pay for labor, I was told no.

I brought my 2006 Chevy Silverado in for an AC issue. The service manager Randle explained what was needed and gave me an expected timeframe for completion. Other than a parts delay my car was returned with the AC working and the interior still clean. Cleanliness was an issue at other automotive repair shops.Overall, I was very satisfied with my service experience at AAMCO. It helps when the first point of contact (Manager Randle) was very professional and clear as to what was needed to complete the job.I would recommend this location for your automotive repairs.Joey

(UPDATE 11/18/'23)Thank you for replying to my review Vic.I didn't wanted to mention you on my original post because you were always in the back office and i didn't really dealt with you the times that I was at your shop, BUT, all you have done is further proof my stand point of how unprofessional and systematic LIARS you and your rundown shop are. (See photo) Here you're responding to my review WITHOUT ANY CLUE of what are you even talking about.I thrust it you guys with my car to do TWO JOBS, to replace the arms control a job that can be done in 1 afternoon and to install 2 new tires THAT WAS IT! But it took you 30 days to return my car only to find out that the left arm control was installed incorrectly causing the car to make ALL KINDS OF NOISE and even damaging other components when steering left...If your "technician" can't even do that simple job! HOW IN HELL YOU EXPECT ME TO TRUST YOU AGAIN WITH MY INVESTMENT?__________________________________________(ORIGINALREVIEW)I trusted my car to AAMCO because they been around for a long time.Now, this particular AAMCO DEFINITELY NOT RECOMMENDED.I took my car to this shop with for 2 issues and after keeping the car for a whole month, they returned to me with 4 more different issues. Had a check engine light on and I knew the error code. They checked all that was needed and made the repair. Very professional. Told me the range for the cost. Prices are great! No sticker shock and clear communication

DO NOT GET YOUR VEHICLE SERVICED HERE! Very unprofessional, management is out of control and I m just glad my car made it out alive, I ve never had a problem with AAMCO but the west palm beach location is so horrible I had to take it to another location after getting work done which is OUTRAGEOUS!

I took my Toyota camry 2014 for a transmission issue on 07/01/22. They diagnosed it then they suggested the transmission needs to be rebuilt. They asked me for $1500 to start working on it, then they said it is cheaper to replace the transmission which will cost $5000 in total for parts and labor. I agreed for the price then in the middle of work, they tried to charge me over $6000; $350 to reprogram it and $1200 for something else. They ended up overcharging me $5712.11. When I received the car on Saturday 7/16/22 the transmission wasn't working like a new one which I paid for. I checked on CarFax, and I found out, they did not replace my transmission as they said they would.Here's what I found on CarFaxServices Performed Vehicle serviced Maintenance inspection completed Transmission fluid flushed Transmission removed and reinstalled Rear crankshaft oil seal replaced Fluids checked Transmission checkedI was still experiencing the same issues, so I brought the car back for the 3rd time where they finally replaced the transmission on 08/03/22 after 1 month back and forth which cost me over a thousand of dollars for Uber rides.From the beginning, they were dishonest with me over the price, the repair, and each time, I returned the car, they always gave me excuses and never fixed it right until I posted a review where the owner/General Manager test-drove the car to make sure it worked.I am very disappointed for all the ordeal that I had to go through.I do not recommend Aamco of West Palm Beach to anyone because they will screw you over.They sabotaged my car by loosening the pinion bolts which were making noise when I rotated the wheel.Integrity is very important for a business to operate, but they do not have that.Service: Transmission replacement

Five stars all the way. Michael was absolutely professional. First time ever using this AAMCO off of military Trail located in West Palm. My husband came to him with my vehicle on a Tuesday morning, and I have kids to get around so it s important that I have my car. They got my car in and out in 7 Days. They did a transmission overhaul in seven days. I have not had one problem at all I have a 18 month warranty I am very happy. I ve already driven over 600 miles and not had one problem. I would definitely recommend coming here and having any automotive work done whatsoever. Five star all the way great service. Absolutely friendly automotive place love coming here. They had my car for 6 months paid them $7000 they didn t bend back most of the pieces. 6 months after I had to replace water pump and radiator, thankfully my boyfriend is a mechanic also. 10 months later my a/c compressor is shot. Called them when my radiator broke, they never called me back. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE. I ve had to literally replace a ton of parts they should have put on NEW on my car. I believe they charged me and my insurance for a bunch of parts that were never even put in or replaced on my car. Rather have gone to a tire plus or Firestone, at least I know with bigger corporations, fraud is less likely. It has been more hassle, paying out of pocket, and repairing all their mistakes they made, while fixing my vehicle. So if you re debating this place, go to the dealership, get it done right, so wish I did. WAS CONFIRMED BY TIRE KINGDOM TO BE A JUNKYARD A/C compressor put in my car. They scammed a girl who s FATHER IS DYING and he was in the hospital after a stroke when they were fixing it. Disgusting human beings.

I was kept up to date as what was needed for my car. It did take longer than expected but not a deal breaker. I was told it would be ready on Friday... Got called on Tuesday after expected Friday due date that car was ready for pick up.The price quoted was the price paid after was done.Quality control of checking car after service complete is an issue. The airbag sensor light was blinking add I left the shop ( it was not when I dropped car off). Who ever test drove the car should have noted it. Apparently that person chose to ignore it. I fixed it with a reset as directed by a Google search. My car radio went in with all it's buttons... Came out missing the volume control knob. Can't find a replacement for it.... Quite inconvenient.I have called and spoke to Mike about the problem with the idiot light and the missing radio knob......Service: Transmission

Mike was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable with the transmission repair on our 2019 dodge grand caravan. He kept me informed on the progress and answered all of my questions and concerns. Our vehicle broke down on a holiday weekend so Mike did all he could to get the proper parts delivered as quickly aspossible. Mike and the team were great. They got me an appointment first thing in the morning even though I gave them last minute notice. I had my brakes replaced and they were the best price in town. Other places I called told me I would have needed to replace my rotors but Mike and the crew inspected my car and let me know all I needed was pads which saved me a considerable amount of money. I was super happy about Mike getting me the part I needed at a much cheaper price. As for his mechanic, the one that worked on my truck is really good too. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. It was either get a new truck or get mine fixed. They saved me a bunch of money for my situation. I took my car for transmission repairs. Mike was very professional and nice. The car was repaired on a timely manner as he had predicted. However, 2 weeks after driving the car, I noticed the issue persisted. I took it back and he said they didn t find anything wrong. The issue was intermittent, so for the second time, I decided to leave the car there for 2 weeks. I received a call from Mike that the issue was not confirmed. I was very disappointed because they had used all my full tank of gas when I picked up my car. Although the transmission issue was intermittent, it occurred almost every other time when I drove the car. So, for him to tell me after 2 weeks and an empty tank later the issue was not confirmed was untrue. I had to purchase another car after spending nearly $3,000 on the transmission. They never resolved the issue. I will never recommend anyone to get their transmission repaired at this place. He convinces people to complete the review as soon as they pick up the car after repairs, so they think all is well, until it s not.

To start, I m so glad my gut feeling led me to this place. They are beyond awesome with their services and such good-spirited people. I took my Chevy Impala from Roger Dean Chevrolet a few weeks ago after they called me saying my transmission was having problems again. Now it has only been a year since they supposedly fixed it and the prices for them to just touch my transmission was ridiculous. I understand a transmission will be pricey but seeing how it s only been a year and im having these problems again but worse, I didn t trust it. A family member told me about AAMCO and I gave them a call. Mike was beyond generous and helpful to all the questions I had and the work he, Sharon and the entire team put in was just the reassurance I needed to know that my car was in the right hands. I got my car today and it drives smoother than when I first got it.So trust me when I say go to them!!! They re kind, hardworking, keep you updated on everything and will work with you. Most importantly they get the job done. They will be my go to for my car needs from this day forward.

Be careful and do your research when you bring your vehicle here. Brought my 2005 rav in and was told it needed various things done such as brakes, calipers, rotors. I haven't had a chance to take a look at the brakes and rotors myself yet but I was also told that my battery and alternator were dead And needed replacing. I thought to myself "the price shouldnt be too bad with a batter costing not more 200 and an alternator for my vehicle around 150". The guys quoted me and just shy of $800 plus another $377 too, I assume drive the car around plug in a code reader and take the wheels off. Note this is just for a new battery and alternator which I can do myself. I didn't have them do the work I instead picked up my car and drove it straight across the street to the NAPA where they do free battery testing and lo and behold. My battery is functioning perfectly and the same with my alternator. I was lied to straight to my face and when I did some digging my problem was corroded battery terminals. All fixed in five minutes with a wire brush. These guys will jip you. Do your research.Replying: I know you are running a Company and I respect that, but I am stating the facts. I took the car in to see what was wrong and to get it fixed, simple as that. They told me the issues with the sticking caliper and I declined because I can do that on my own, no need to throw money at something I can do. I was more focused on the rough idle. They told me it could be something electrical which makes sense, I told them they could diag that part of the problem and I get the call saying they can't continue without a new battery and alternator for $800. I declined knowing a battery and alternator are not hard nor time consuming to put in my particular vehicle and that they do not cost much either so I declined. Again I am not complaining in the slightest simply stating what happened. ThanksSide note: they did give me a free coolant system pressure test when I went and let them know about the battery and asked if they could. That was nice of them.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Mike F was the prime reason I left my car for service at AAMCO on Military Trail and Belvedere Road. When I called the shop the day before, he took his time asking me questions about problems I was experiencing and thoroughly explained what may be happening. Mike was able to get the car in the next day for a diagnostic and pinpointed the problems in great detail. Though the news on my car seemed like a lot to me that would ordinarily be discouraging, Mike brought out the positive points about my engine that helped me realize the situation could be far worse.Mike is a standout professional who knows what he's talking about and how to treat customers. He even stayed a few minutes late so I could pick up my car. Mike is personable, detailed-oriented and went the extra mile to make me comfortable with having service completed at AAMCO. I didn't feel coerced or forced to choose AAMCO.Based on the little time I spent at the shop, Mike was answering the phone, talking to the mechanics, handling customers in-person.
