I wouldn't trust my vehicle with anyone else. I've been bringing my car to Jimmy for about 7 years - everything from brakes to routine oil changes (and also "what's that noise" situations). The shop is meticulously clean, and the mechanics are respectful, honest and knowledgeable. It's nice to know there are still family owned, reliable shops still in business. Highly recommended!

I've been coming to A&J for over 5 years. They're honest and only do thorough work. I've had work done such as alternator replacements, brake pads, but also go to them for my simple oil changes. Don't hesitate to go to A&J Auto for your auto repair needs.

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!!This used to be a business you could trust, unfortunately no longer. My family did business with Jimmy for 15 years before they passed away and I continued to take my business there, until now.I purchased a car from Jimmy. The plan was to purchase the car for the engine and swap the engine into my other car. Instead we decided to give it to my teenage son as his first car, IF Jimmy said it was a safe car to drive. WE TRUSTED HIM.Jimmy lied to us. We asked him several times directly if the car was safe for my son to drive. He assured us it was. He lied with no concern at all for my sons safety.They sold us a car that had major problems. It has been in the shop more times than it s been on the road and has left my son stranded or broken down on the side of the road countless times.The last draw recently was when I contacted Jimmy after the car was towed to his shop. When we spoke with Jimmy after he checked out the car, we were again told nothing was wrong. The very next day the engine seized up. It is in the shop (of another reputable master mechanic) right now.Don t even get me started on Jimmy s partner named Jimmy (also). He is a liar, do not trust him. He does not have any remorse for selling us an unsafe car for my son to drive and has gone so far as to bad mouth me in this situation rather than own his actions and make things right for my family.We have given Jimmy several opportunities to make things right based on our 15 year long relationship. He failed. My son s mother and I were lied to, bad mouthed and ended up with a car that is not safe to be on the road.We trusted this man and business with our son. My family and I were loyal customers for 15 years and have sent countless people to this shop. It s sad that a once a good and trustworthy man and business that I recommended to everyone has ended up like this.I will never recommend this business ever again. You deserve 0 stars for the lies, putting my son in a unsafe car and conducting bad business. STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP.BBB HERE I COME

Jimmy and Adrianne are phenomenal! A & J has taken care of my mom's car for the last few years, and she recommended them to me last year when my A/C broke. Jimmy was fair and honest, and he fixed my A/C in a timely fashion. Recently I needed my car checked out during a routine oil change, and Jimmy only told me what my car absolutely needed. A tire change, wheel alignment, brake/rotor replacement and door handle fix later, my car is driving wonderfully. A & J is a business you can truly trust. I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing any kind of car servicing!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Oil change

I ve know Jimmy and Adrienne for many years, they re the most honest and respectful people to deal with. I ve taken my car and recommended this shop to friends as well. They re professional, courteous and very friendly. I've known Jimmy for many many years, and to try and describe his honesty and character in just a few words is not possible. I'm a non certified ( backyard mechanic ) for many years doing just about everything you can think of including race cars, so when I speak with mechanics from other shops a dealerships, I can immediately tell who knows what they are talking about and who doesn't. I can only tell you that it's not just knowledge that makes you a great mechanic but character as well, and in the times that we live in today, Jimmy has both! Nowadays I don't really work on my vehicles anymore due to time restrictions and a bad back which leaves me with no choice than to trust an outside source and thank God for Jimmy, I always have a pretty good idea about what is wrong with my cars and without me giving him too many details he verifies what I thought was the problem because of my past experience. I KNOW WHEN A MECHANIC LYING, and I just hand Jimmy the keys and go about my business with total confidence, he and his wife, yes a family business, are about the mosttrustworthy people you can do business with, you almost want to have them as friends for dinner at your house! Today we need to rely on good a/c companies, good doctors and dentists, and good mechanics for our cars, and you all know how tough that can be nowadays. Bottom line if your searching for an automobile mechanic with knowledge AND integrity, look no further!

Most trust worthy and competent mechanic shop we have ever found.A nation tire chain store told my wife her car needed all four brakes replaced right now.My wife had met the wife wife of this auto repair shop owner so we asked his opinion. He took the time to show me each of the brakes and their remaining pads, none of which needed replacing now, he said, although the rear brakes were getting close. When I told him we were planning a long drive through the mountains, he then said it wouldn t be a bad idea to replace the rear brakes now. And he did this work at much less cost than the national tire chain.The other aspect that impressed me was that this shop was so clean. Just about spotless. When I commented on that he smiled and said that s the only way he can work.

Okay... This is a throw back to the old school Mechanic Days when you had that neighborhood guy you could trust, ask for advice about your ride and be confident it would be fixed right the first time without having to take out a loan. A & J Auto Care is by far the cleanest shop I have ever been to and the professionalism is crazy over the top. I don't just consider them my mechanic now, I have grown to know them as my guy, my mechanic and even family. Jimmy, Adrian and Jeremy has helped me, my family and friends out so many times in emergencies and just general maintenance. I never feel like I have been taken advantage of and they always catch problems or fake problems other big auto care places sell me. They have kept my 2008 Chrysler Pacifica running for 200, 000 miles and it's not an easy car to keep on the road without paying big bucks. Like I said; Old School with a High Tech modern edge..

I brought my 1996 Cadillac Eldorado with 56K miles to A&J Auto repair after having shopped a number of the area "garages" because I thought my A/C system needed a freon charge. Tires Plus wanted 145.00 for a charge, Tire Kingdom quoted $260.00. I stopped by A&J and they quoted me $109.00 with tax. They took my car in quickly, assessed my A/C system and advised me they didn't think it would hold a charge due to the compressor, etc. I took a shot at the charge but like they said, it didn't hold. They told me what I needed and gave me an estimate. I arranged to have my A/C system repairs done this morning (WED., 9/23/15). Not only did they do a great job, they showed me all the parts, and the price was just as quoted. On top of that, the garage is immaculate, they are very kind and respectful, and they treat you like family. It's great to find a place that you can trust to do the work right the first time and in a timely and professional manner. I am now going to send my Mother to this place when she needs work done on her vehicle. Jim and his staff are that good. I much appreciate their honesty, work ethic and timeliness. AND, my car A/C is so cold now that I could hang meat in my car! These guys will be the only ones that ever touch my car again! Mike

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP!!Purchased a car for my son from Jimmy s partner, also named Jimmy. Do yourself a favor - do not trust either one of them and do not give them your business. They originally contacted my sons father about the car to do an engine swap. After consideration, we decided to purchase the vehicle for my son to drive. We were told it was fully inspected and that it would be reliable with minor work. We asked several times before making the purchase. We were told there was nothing major wrong with the car. We were also assured the owner was a good friend of Jimmy s. So in good faith, we made the deal.This vehicle has been a nightmare ever since! It has been broken down more than it has been on the road. We found out the car had its thermostat REMOVED - we noticed because we thought the thermostat needed replacing but then noticed it was actually TAKEN OUT. in addition, we had also found out the check engine light WAS REMOVED as well. Likely to HIDE the fact that this car had major issues. Since then, It s needed a new PCM, the wiring harness was burnt up and had to be replaced, the dash cluster was non operational (we didn t know until my son ran out of gas on the highway which created further damage to vehicle), fuel pump needed replacing, coolant reservoir, radiator and more.Shame on both Jimmy s for allowing this to even happen! When we approached them to speak with them about this, their story changed. They said they never told us the car would be a daily driving car. WRONG! You told both me and my sons father it would he perfectly ok. I m very thorough. I can recall every and any question I asked you. We spoke for almost an hour before I ever handed you money. You put our son in danger for personal gain. DISGUSTING!! We ve asked you both to make this issue right and you ve refused to take any responsibility. You have bled this already struggling family dry. You ve left my son with no means of transportation to go to work or school.Oh and one last thing - The last time the car was towed to this shop (which was last week). They called us and told us there was nothing wrong with the car. They said they tested battery and alternator and all checked out fine. They said they drove it around for a while and it was fine that we could come pick it up. We decided to remove the car from that shop and sent a tow truck to pick it up so we could get second opinion, FROM A MASTER MECHANIC. When the tow truck arrived, Jimmy called and told me he figured out the problem. He said the gasket blew/engine locked up. Yet I had spoken to them just prior to that and he told us the car was fine and can be picked up. I don t doubt that they SABOTAGED our vehicle further. If YOU drove the car around, YOU likely damaged the car further. It baffles me how you were not able to diagnose the car if you re a mechanic .This place does DIRTY BUSINESS.THEY ARE SWINDLERS!!DO NOT TRUST!!

I read the reviews first. Yes, they are honest! My college student needed a repair. A&J was great. Brought the car in on a Friday and they fixed it on Saturday. Price was very reasonable. No hard sell for extra services. I love this place.

Love this place! I brought my car in because it was shaking really bad. They were really busy but Jeremy still looked at my car and drove it around to see what the problem was. He immediately knew it was the tires. Adrianne ordered my new tires the same day and had me come in ASAP and changed them within 30 minutes. Thanks guys! I will be back for sure.

Went to A&J after reading reviews, and they did not disappoint. Dropped off my car on Tuesday, and it was ready the next morning. Jimmy was upfront, honest and fair with his quote. Superb customer service - will definitely be using A&J going forward.

I was referred to A & J Auto Care for a second opinion after I had received an inflated estimate from another local mechanic. Jimmy at A & J took time on a Friday afternoon to help me and fixed my SUV for less than a third of the price of the scamming mechanic down the street. I would highly recommend any A & J to anyone looking for an honest, high quality mechanic. Thanks Jimmy!

Friendly but not honest. I went to them because i saw they had good reviews. I knew already before going to them that my car had transmission problem.They ask me to leave the car to check and told me they will call me before any repair. But they didn't call me. I came to the garage and they told me the car is ready. They charged me for diagnostic $128.63 nerver mentioned to me that there will be a diagnostic charge and they told me they change transmission filter and oil for $210.00. So a total bill of $369.58.When they saw I was surprised to see the bill they asked me to pay $340 instead. After two days of driving it seemed my car still had the same problem.I has to go somewhere else where they gave me a free diagnosis. And my car was repaired thereNever going back to them again.

Took my work vehicle to the Ford dealer 3 times and to another private shop once and they could fix my problem and didn't listen to the issues it was having. Took it to A&J ONE TIME and it was fixed the right way. My vehicle has never had an this cold before. Thanks a lot guys!

I love this place. Family oriented, honest, and very fair. I'm very picky where I do business because of people trying to take advantage. I absolutely love jimmy and this is now the only place that will ever work on my cars or any cars in the family. I love and appreciate you guys. Thank you soon much.

I had a stuck oil plug and even though I didn't have any kind of appointment, one of the gentlemen did me a quick favor and gave my car a look. He was able to fix it in 20 minutes, for a very reasonable price too.
