Very quiet park with a mix of full-time and stopover guests. The sites are a little tight but level. There aren't a lot of amenities but the laundry room and gym were nice. The real highlight of the park is the staff. Primarie, John, Mike & Rachel were some of the kindest and most professional people that we've encountered in our travels. We would definitely stay again!

This park is well maintained and very quiet, and the rates are extremely affordable. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry room are all kept very clean. I love the added security of having a gated entrance. I ve been staying here for over two years, and I m very sad to be leaving! The staff is very nice and always accommodating. Thank you for making my time here great!

We had a wonderful experience at this RV park! This was not a planned reservation. It was last minute reservation because of some trouble that we ran into. We are so grateful that they could accommodate us. We really appreciate everything that they did for us. It is a nice, clean and quiet RV park with an amazing staff. The groundskeepers were so helpful. The manager came out and introduced herself. She wanted to make sure everything was good for our stay.We would definitely recommend this RV park and we will be back.

we have stayed at this location when it was Dixieland many times and have always found it to be a nice overnight stop. when we arrived this time there was someone in our assigned spot. Mike worked very hard to find us a place that was vacant with the appropriate electrical hookup. finally he was able to place Us in site 135 which did not have sewer but that's okay. it was easy in and out and had 50 amp service. please mark our file that 135 will be our preferred site.... we never hook up water or sewer when we're passing through. see you next time.

(November 1, 2023 till November 26, 2023) Horrible stay... I d like to start off by saying... this Campground is in Waldo, Fl. not Gainesville, Fl... my hubby called this place and helped get our family a spot as I was having a shingles outbreak the whole time there. We arrive and get told in the first 10 minutes in the office that our 22 year old son that is special needs, wheelchair bound was being considered as a child and could never be left alone or allowed to venture without us and for the most part we understand but it felt very aggressively said from a over daring manager that could have found a nicer way to speak on it. We get to our site and I tried to tell her a few things about us because she needed to know a few things and she didn t even look at me as she says... if you have anything to say to me... leave it in a review... so, here we are... was planning on staying 4 to 6 months due to taking care of Dr. appointments for our son. We stayed 26 days... in that second week there we have the assistant manager staying next to us and her and her husband sitting next to our front bedroom window sitting in there golf cart for over an hour even after I found out they had been sitting there. We drove away from there that day because of it. But, I m upset because in that time period I was paying bills and using that time to talk family talk... why so close and then a few days later we hear pounding on her front door, the other neighbor and her stood out by her door talking about us for over 45 minutes, ask me how we know... that was the last day our son had his window open... he heard everything... as a mother... I m appalled... trailers are to close together and the manager has favorites... you can tell... my husband said... the men s bathhouse water was to cold... used it once. There s a lot of rules there but only half of them being done... we woke up one morning to the neighbors parked right in front of our driveway space... then when calling the office and them having to move the truck they look at our trailer... said a few things and could never be nice. This place is trash, we can pick our neighbors...

Our Thanksgiving visit to Gainesville RV Park exceeded all expectations! The perfection of the experience was heightened by the exceptional service from managers Primarie and John. Their assistance, from arranging an additional picnic table to helping my husband with hooking up, truly enhanced our camping experience. The campground itself was a testament to their dedication, with impeccably clean and well-maintained sites creating a peaceful retreat. Our family had an absolute blast playing volleyball in the court, and the pet-friendly atmosphere was a huge plus. Our dogs thoroughly enjoyed the freedom of the dog park.In every aspect, Gainesville RV Park provided a welcoming and enjoyable environment. Highly recommended!

Nice RV park right on US Hwy 301 just north of Gainesville, FL. Gated, nice pull through spots, although adjacent to a truck stop. We had just a little bit of noise from some trucks early in the evening, but it got quiet about bedtime. Overall, a good stop on our trip back north. Will stop again when we come down to FL again! Very pleasant, friendly folks greeted us and took us to our site.

A very clean, comfortable and well maintained park. Primarie, the office worker, was extremely nice and knowledgeable and immediately made us feel welcomed. Our site was very leveled and spacious. We didn t get to use any of the amenities since we only stayed here one night but they do have all of the regular ones including a fishing pond. We would definitely stay here again.

We have been at Gainesville RV Park for a month and absolutely love it. We feel so at home here. It's peaceful and very well maintained by the awesome maintenance staff. The laundry room is clean and all the machines work great. There are monthly activities which are fun. The manager, Primarie and her husband John, are very nice and helpful. Even before we arrived, our experience communicating with Laura over the phone was very helpful. The only downside is poor internet, probably because we are at the back of the park, under the trees

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Gainesville RV Park, and I must say, the experience was nothing short of outstanding. From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.Primarie and John, the dynamic duo managing the RV park, deserve a special mention for their exceptional work. Their dedication to ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for every guest is truly commendable. They go above and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly, creating an atmosphere that feels like a home away from home.Rachel, with her amazing customer service skills, positive attitude, and genuine care, stood out. Her warm greetings and compassionate nature make you feel valued and appreciated. I particularly appreciated her personal touch, such as the friendly waves every morning and the extra effort to make my furry friend feel welcome.Mike and Bob are unsung heroes at Gainesville RV Park, always going above and beyond to assist everyone. Whether it's helping with RV troubles or offering a helping hand during arrival and departure, their dedication to the guests is truly commendable. One of the standout features of Gainesville RV Park is the welcoming staff who not only recall names but also extend greetings even when they are off the clock. This level of personal connection adds an extra layer of warmth to the atmosphere, making you feel like part of a close-knit community. The cleanliness of the facilities is top-notch, reflecting the staff's commitment to providing a comfortable and sanitary environment. The meticulous attention to detail is evident in every corner, ensuring a pleasant stay for all guests. The community events hosted at the park, such as bingo night, bonfires, and karaoke nights, add a sense of camaraderie and fun. It's a testament to the thoughtful planning and effort put in by the team to create an inclusive and enjoyable atmosphere for everyone.Even in the moments when I called the office to inquire about a package or mail, the ladies exhibited a positive attitude that resonated through the phone. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist further underscored the exceptional customer service ethos at Gainesville RV Park.In conclusion, Gainesville RV Park has immense potential and is undoubtedly a hidden gem for those seeking a relaxing and enjoyable vacation experience. The stellar team, led by Primarie and John, along with the remarkable contributions of Rachel, Mike, and Bob, make this RV park a standout destination. I am already looking forward to my next vacation here, confident that the warm hospitality and excellent service will continue to make Gainesville RV Park a top choice for travelers.

Primaries was very professional, helpful and pleasant as was her assistant.I was there During a terrific rainstorm, and my site was fine no, puddling, pooling or soggy ground around my rig. The park is neat and tidy.Next time I will try to get a site in the rear of the campground as the highway traffic noise was rather loud. But I had asked for a site close to the bathroom so it s my fault!

I have lived here for awhile now, and I absolutely love this place! Very clean areas, great services, and great customer service. Primarie is a great manager, Rachel is doing a fantastic job as an Assistant Manger. John and the service crew is doing a great job with help the park responsibilities. They even help with hook up with rvs and any help you might need for your site. The only thing I would like to see improved is the internet here. Even the premium internet is lacking in speeds, so I did have to get my own. All in all, a great place to stay! 10 out of 10!

I stayed here for a 3-month work contract and was very happy with my extended stay. There are bathroom/shower facilities on site, a small fitness center, indoor and outdoor lounge area, a pickleball net, two fire pits, a catch and release pond, and more. While I couldn't attend them due to my own personal schedule, they have events throughout each month. It's about a 20-40 minute drive into Gainesville depending on where you're going, and about 8-10 minutes into Starke that has most stores you might need (Walmart, Dollar Tree, TJMaxx, Aldi, pharmacies, etc.).The staff on property are super kind, personable, and helpful for recommendations. The park/staff is great when it comes to email communication, especially regarding weather events, maintenance around the RV park, events happening in the park, etc. I always felt very safe, especially living by myself as a female. The park is gated and all the facilities can only be entered with a passcode that you get after check in. You can hear some traffic noise from US 301, a train periodically, and some noise from the motor sport track next door but I never had any noise issues/complaints against my RV neighbors (they were all lovely and respectful!). For the price, amenities, and staff I would definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

If this was a review for Mr Bob in maintenance .it would be a 10 star review, but this is for the park overall so 3 stars it is. I stayed here for about 6 months with my toddler and this park is not kid friendly. I am glad during my stay the posted a sign asking people to drive slowly we love our kids but guest don t listen so what can you do. The amenities are non existent but my main gripe was a few months back I was told to evacuate due to a storm at 2am. Everyone else was told it s optional but I was sent out into a storm with a 2year old child and had to pay for a hotel in Gainesville, as well as miss a day of work. I m still pissed about that because I don t like losing money due to no fault of my own. Management definitely tries to do nice things at the park .Primarie is a decorating/event master and John knows a little something about everything but you can absolutely tell that corporate does not want to invest any real money into the park but the lot rent is overpriced. Kinda odd for them to call themselves Honest RV Parks . With this park being in the middle of bumF(|< I would think there would be excellent amenities, including a pool, but then again, this is just a bare bones RV park not a resort.

Primarie and John and their staff do a wonderful job holding all residents accountable and make sure everyone knows and strictly follows the rules. This is turn allows a single mom like myself to feel safe going for walks around the campground. There's a designated area for the dogs to run free, plenty of field to play soccer and volleyball. There's also a restaurant within walking distance as well as a Dollar General, Subway, and gas station all within walking distance. The nearest Walmart is 11 minutes away, Gainesville is about 20 minutes out. Everyone I've met in the campground are truly wonderful people, everyone is kind and friendly and caring.

We were constantly told how bad we broke rules when new rules are added for Primaries taste. They forced me to sell them my dog for 50 bucks. And then kicked me out. Neighbors are weird they rolled on the wet ground with my dog. Kids wasn't allowed to play outside. It was a traumatic experience. We will never go back or tell anyone to stay there.

We did the "boondocking" campsite at a last minute decision.. Came down for the Gatornationals Drag Race..I called and Premarie answered and told us that boondocking was only available and accommodated us!! Thank you!! It is on the front grounds .. No hookup.. But we have a generator and water tank in our RV ..All amenities are included so can use their bathroom/ shower, lounge, etc. Just a very short walk into the park your literally right outside the gate.( It's a very nice Park inside, maintained very nice.. We walked around the next morning to check it out..) We arrived after hours picked up our paperwork outside the office. We were a little confused where to park the rv, it said site number but it's not marked so we just found an open area.. Premarie came out to check on us later and ooops we were kinda in the wrong place but she got us tucked away on a grassy spot!! Nice.. She is super sweet and I thank hr for arranging this for us at the last minute.. the Price is right too!!! Very very reasonable.Nearby activities: 20 minutes to Gainesville so just about everything you want to do thereWalkability: You can Walk to those places in a minuteFood & drinks: Restaurant right there next to park, convenience Mart, and a fast food and dollar store across street

OFF all the Parks in Florida this is a 100% that I can't even imagined that this Park is so clean and have all this amazing amenities for the price for long term guest. Most of the important things is when I called the park the manager Primarie answered my call with a great personality, attitude and make me feel so comfortable, welcoming, inviting she is kind of person that she care for the guest like a family and when I met her oh my God was as a angel she gave me a tour all the Park and for me is priceless. I'm so excited to be here and found this place. Another great thing is the staff, Laura was so sweet and friendly in overall all them are wonderful.

This is our third year coming to Gainesville Rv Park. I would say this is the best time! We came previously when the park was under different stay and it was fine but now since having new staff it is so much nicer. The women who runs the front desk Premarie does an excellent job getting the park together for events and other fun activities. We noticed a huge difference in the outside and how well kept it was the second we pulled up. Not only were they all decorated for fall but the grounds in general were so much more well kept then we ever remember them being. We noticed a huge difference in that when John took over outside and then it s only improved more. The shelter is a nice area to hang out and gather, the pond is beautiful and the staff is excellent! While here we recommend going across the street to La Tambora for Mexican (literally the best food EVER) getting coffee at Opus in town and taking a walk at SweetWater preserve. Lots to do in the area and great walking trails not far from here. Oh and if you want an extra treat- make your way to the world equestrian center on a Saturday night to watch the horse shows. All in all, after coming for three years now, it s safe to say we will be back. The park has only gotten nicer with time and staff clearly has worked hard to make major improvements!
