Manny is really great. I couldn t believe the reviews so had to see it for myself. My jeep was leaking oil and he took the time to show me where and explain exactly what needed to be done. It now runs great and am glad I found a good old school mechanic that takes his time and does things right!

Manny and his wife were extremely professional, timely and knowledgeable in diagnosing issues with my vehicle that ultimately saved me thousands of dollars down the road. I am without a doubt, headed straight to Plaza s automotive with any future issues that may arise. It is hard to find a good mechanic, let alone honest ones. 10/10 would recommend!

Since moving to the Vero Beach area 3 years ago, I haven t gone to another mechanic since. Manuel is a true professional and a master of his craft. He gets the job done right the first time and is very knowledgeable & honest, which is hard to find. I ve recommended him to countless friends and colleagues.

We've been taking our cars to Manny for 3 years now and can't say enough good things about Plaza's Auto Service ! First, and foremost, Manny is guinely a nice man who does anything he can to help out in dire situations. Secondly, he is a very knowledgeable mechanic. If there's something he can't fix( which isn't often) he scoots us in the right direction. Third, he's a hard working man who doesn't gouge prices. He is fair, honest, amenable and always does it with a smile. Manuel is an honest mechanic who shows you what's wrong with your vehicle and would not recommend unwarranted repairs. He also fixed the issue what the previous mechanic did on my car. His rates are reasonable and priced right. Don't hesitate to give him a call for your automotive service.

My car broke down right on 12th street. Some guys pushed me into the parking lot of thrift in front of the plaza auto service.. must have been a sign. He fixed my car that day and not at an outrageous cost either! I will be taking my car there all the time now..

I called Manny because I was having problems with my transmission and he took me in right away without an appointment. He had my car diagnosed and running the same day. Great communication and Manny even called the next few days to check up on how my car was doing. Manny and his wife were both so kind. Would highly recommend this shop!

This man is all about quality and transparency. He took the time to not only explain to me what was wrong with my vehicle but showed me as well. A mechanic can easily rack up a bill and claim to fix things that are technically not broke but this guy is very honest and that tells me he cares about his customers. I highly recommend this place.

I'm new to vero beach area and needed a mechanic i can trust . After my visit to plaza auto and meeting Manuel , I knew i was in the right place . I've been back twice now and both times he gave me very fair price and explained exactly what the issue was . Great communication and again VERY trustworthy and fair . Manuel gave me a good price on a brake job and oil change. He also showed me that one of my tire rims was bent and I know he wasn't trying to sell me something extra because he doesn't work on tires. I would highly recommend going to Plaza's for your auto repairs. Manuel was very professional, kind and did the work fast. I had a rear main valve leak and Jeep couldn t get me in until February. My stepdad recommended Plaza Auto. Manuel took my Jeep right in and identified the issue. Promptly got me a quote and proceeded with the repair. The following day, he contacted me to let me know about a secondary issue, had a quote sent via email and began that repair as well. Very honest and upfront! Great communication and a pleasure to do business with! Will be my new mechanic going forward :)

Had brought my aging - 2011 Subaru Forester XT Touring in to Manny several months back for an oil change and had concerns about oil and filter. Manny quickly laid those fears to rest by going into detail about the correct grade synthetic and filter for the Subaru. Importantly, afterwards, he showed me how black the old oil had been resulting in a lack of viscosity. The engine ran smoother.So I brought the car back in as I am planning a 2500 mile round trip drive - in the summer heat - and wanted to ensure the vehicle was up to the rigors of the trip. I had Manny flush and replace the transmission fluid and perform another oil change - once again he showed me the old oil which was quite dark - the car has the turbo Boxster engine which burns up oil like mad - added to the fact it is older, and I drive and accelerate somewhat aggressively.I also asked Manny to flush out the radiator as the car didn't appear to be cooling the engine efficiently. I thought it was the thermostat. It wasn't. Manny called me later in the day and texted pictures explaining that the radiator components were deteriorating - he replaced the radiator and showed me the old one which was showing significant discoloration/deterioration. And then we came to the brakes - Manny checked all the fluids and noted that the brake fluid was black and that the master brake cylinder, like the radiator, was exhibiting component deterioration (12 year old car). He replaced the master brake cylinder and added new fluid (which was clear - other mechanics never performed this) and the brakes were significantly improved (note - more then a few dealerships and other businesses looking to turn a buck would have also told me that I needed new brake pads and/or discs as well). I asked Manny twice if I needed new pads given my aggressive braking - he had inspected the pads and told me I did not need to replace them. A final adjustment to the car's ABS braking system and I am ready and confident that my Subaru can handle the rigors of a long summer driving trip.If you are looking for a mechanic and business owner in Vero Beach who is knowledgeable, honest, hardworking and stands by his work, Manny Plaza's Auto Service is where you should have your vehicle serviced. Especially if you are trying to keep an older vehicle in good repair. You not only get excellent service, but an education and demonstration as to what was wrong/broken/defective/requiring replacement by someone who isn't going to overcharge or sell you things you don't need. Try getting that at a dealership.

Replaced my valve covers and my solenoid gasket in a timely manner. Price was very reasonable and did not change from the quote given. Will definitely be visiting Manuel again for any future mechanical needs.

He did a great job at a good price was done professionally, promptly and he guarantees his work! had me back on the road in no time. He and his wife are great people! We were visiting from NY and had an issue with the brakes on our van. I was searching for a repair shop and came across Plaza's Auto Service. I read the five star reviews and stopped by and met Manuel. I couldn't have made a better choice. If you are looking for a thorough, honest, fair auto mechanic look no further. He and his wife walked me through the whole process and showed me what was wrong the entire time. I brought the van in the morning and he asked me to come back at 2:00pm. By 5:30 the van was completed and it was done right! I can't say enough good things about this place. They are really good people! It was a blessing to find Manuel after having an issue with my cars battery/starter/alternator for 4 years and 3 different mechanics. Manuel found the problem quickly and I was thrilled to have this issue behind me. Great mechanic who is professional, friendly, and honest.. not to mention an extremely clean shop and office. We will be using him and telling all of our friends about him and his family owned and operated business.

Manuel has done a couple oil changes for us. He is always very quick and professional.He just did some belt and water pump work on our car as well after it started making an AWFUL screeching sound. He did all the work in one day and his pricing seemed very reasonable. Compared to almost any other mechanic I have worked with, he seems the most trust-worthy.He let us know not to hesitate to come back if something seemed off with the work he did. Manuel fixed a very technical and complicated transmission issue with my Infiniti. At every step he was staying in touch with me, explaining the status of my car, helping me understand what was going on and keeping cost down however he could. He is very focused on ensuring the job is done right but at the lowest possible cost to his customers. You absolutely do not have to worry about unnecessary work being performed at this business.I feel extremely fortunate to have found Manuel. I've been in Vero Beach all my life and struggled to find a reliable and honest mechanic. Manuel is amazing! He puts his customers first. I can go on and on with how impressed I am. I would give a 10 star if I could! I just moved here from KC and didn't have any means of transportation to check out what he had found. He literally drove to where I was staying to pick me up and brought me back. My mind is blown. The prices are the best around and the customer service in unmatched. Do yourself a favor and take your car here!

I'm a volunteer at the thrift store next door and my starter died in the parking lot. Miguel was awesome, he helped up push the car into the garage and went right to work on it. Great business with great people running it.

Manny was a lifesaver! My car broke down in Vero, and I needed a new water pump. I took it to Plaza's and he fit me in ASAP and got the car fixed properly, and was done much sooner than expected. I don't write a lot of reviews as I expect good service, but this went beyond and deserved to be called out. If you live in the Vero Beach area I highly recommend this shop!

I highly recommend this auto repair shop and give them . Manny the owner mechanic did a great job installing new brake pads. They re honest, professional, cordial and friendly. He and his wife, Sun are the best.If you want the job done right and the best prices in town, give them a call, you won t be disappointed.
