Drove down from SC last week and a couple days after getting here I started hearing my brakes grinding. Day by day it got worse. I asked a couple friends to recommend a good place to take it and J&J Auto came up a few times. Brought the car in first thing this morning with no appointment, spoke with John and left the car with him. Not even half an hour later he gives me a call and explained the rear brakes needed to be replaced. The front brakes still looked good for at least a few thousand miles. So, I just had him do the rear for now. Called me back around 2:00 and let me know the car was ready to be picked up. I just had the brakes on my other car replaced a couple months ago back in SC and paid more and the service was now nearly as good. The garage was spotless, the couple people I dealt with were friendly and professional. Wish they were in SC!

Went for a front wheel bearing. They told me they couldn t do it wheel bearing was too rusty etc, brought it to another mechanic, took him 45 minutes, the guy didn t even use a heat torch or an air hammer, and it wasn t as much as these people were gonna charge me. On top of that, when J&j returned my vehicle to me, they didn t tell me that they broke a stud off for the lug nut when the wheel was removed, they could ve let me know that rather than let me drive out and have a potential accident. If you re looking for a real shop, this isn t the one. Bunch of sleeze bags

Excellent place! We just moved here, and by luck of the draw, chose J&J for servicing my car. They were beyond accommodating and so pleasant! They were very honest in diagnosis and prices. I will definitely be back there for routine maintenance and anything else the car might need. Thanks J&J for being so great and I hope you had a great vacation!Catherine Domingos

I just had some work done by J & J, and I was very pleased. The price was very fair, and the final cost was exactly the same as the estimate. Everyone was extremely pleasant. I will definitely use them in the future

My brother just went there to get an estimate on his bumper that was hanging off his accord. The kind folks at this place fixed the bumper quickly and stopped what he was doing for a ten minute fix and now this is going to be the only place we go for car repairs. 6 stars if I could give them!

I had the same mechanic for 30 years in W Palm Beach. After moving to Vero 3 months ago I began asking friends and several mentioned J&J Auto Works. One lady said she and her husband have been going there for nearly 30 yrs. I was very pleased and now have a new mechanic.Crystal Webster

Very honest shop. Brought my truck here to have the brakes replaced on both axles. A few hours later I received a call from the owner who informed that I still had 3-5,000 miles left on the front axle and wanted to know if I still wanted both axles done; incredible. Would have been very easy for them to just do both without communicating with me. In addition the turn around was only about 4 hours when I was expecting 8-9 hours. I want to shout it from the rooftops that J & J Auto Works has officially made my day, week, month, and year. After a very tumultuous several weeks which included my backing into my daughter's car in my own driveway I called J & J Auto Works. So many good things have already been said about this business already but I am always wary especially in the auto repair category due to the decline of concern from business owners about integrity. But my experience with J & J was so above and beyond that I am writing this review in the parking lot because I could not wait to share the love. So for anyone in need of bodywork, oil changes, brakes, and more do not walk... run toJ & J. Well likely you will drive... I have found a new auto spot for my family and friends. I highly recommend everyone give them a try!Thank you again Joe and staff you are awesome!

This is a family-run business you can get your car fixed and body works done to your car. Prices on getting your car fixed or body work done too but are very reasonable.

Only body shop in town that was reasonable and did not try to oversell me with work that had to be done. Will definitely recommend this shop to anyone and will return if i have another accident.

EXCELLENT! Can t say enough about this shop. Will never go anywhere else. They took in my Toyota FJ when the alternator gave up after a long journey from Colorado. Love them.honest and fair. What can I say!

My 2015 jeep Renegade was dead,towed in and thought it could be anything. Jason got on it and found out it was the battery,put one in called me and said "come get it". Smooth! Thank you j&j you are great. I will recommend you guys to everyone. thank you again! Terry O'Shea

Took our vehicle in to have the brakes done 2 days later both the brake light & tcs light were on. Took the vehicle back to J&J only to be told they could not repair the sensors they damaged!! We found out after visiting another service center & spending $100 for diagnostic that the brakes were not bled properly so that ruined the sensor. Now we are facing a $500 repair bill on top of the $600+ we paid for the brake job. We have gotten no response from J&J so we are looking into small claims court.Service: Brakes

We had our car break down in Vero Beach. J & J Auto Works was highly recommended to us, and they didn t disappoint. They were honest, affordable and completed the repair in a timely manner. It was a pleasure to be treated so well by a business.

Not sure of other mechanics around Vero, but i see no reason to find out. Have brought my wife's car a couple of times for different reasons and J&J had notified me each time to let me know the problem and cost. Very reliable, dependable, affordable, and best of all...honest. Hard things to find in mechanics.

Great shop with the rare actually honest mechanic. I had some engine trouble, they slotted me in on a busy day to get me back on the road. Fast, efficient, with great staff. My business will be coming here from now on.

They need a little bit of more organization but doing a great job when they finally start to work on your car. I was there several times and could not get a service because 'the MAN' was not there.But overall to recommend if you have the time.UPDATE 2/15/2019:No I can't say who the "MAN" is because he was never there to talk to me, but I bought a red cap for $10.00.

Great find!! I just heard about this service shop. Very impressed with quickness of work and making things simple and easy. Called as soon as it was done. John is one of the most honest mechanics ever! He wont add parts when not needed, does great work! John came recommended by friends from church and they take their business and personal vehicles to him when they need repair.

This is the place to go! Nice honest staff and no one trying to sale you things you do not need or want. Not something you find in a repair shop much anymore but a place I will continue to bring my vehicles too and will recommend to family and friends.

Family business friendly and reliable always up front about services and if possible they will come in lower than estimate. No well this happened and its going to be different price.Their work is excellent
