Outstanding customer service and the easiest, most efficient place I have ever been to purchase a vehicle. Brandon promptly led us straight to what we were looking for and Larry sealed the deal with a smile. Amazing atmosphere, friendly down to earth and knowledgeable folks to boot. Great milage and affordable prices! Not to mention the service station they have for customer vehicles that need any maintenance in the future. Thank you all for the great ride and if I'm in the market for another vehicle I'll definitely be coming by!

Purchasing a car here has always been an easy and painless process. My husband and I have bought two vehicles from here. One 5 years ago (still running beautifully) and another in the beginning of this year. Unfortunately we haven t had the same luck this time around. Since purchasing our car in January we ve had to take it in 5 times (first time being a few days after we purchased it because it was giving us a check engine signal). Plenty of issues within our new vehicle that were more than detectable from a reliable mechanic. Could have put someone in a serious financial hole if they weren t prepared. Spent 6k already (aside from the 23k the car costs) and currently in the shop again. Mind you this car is a baby (46k miles). Long story short, friendly helpful staff, plenty of vehicle options , but have a mechanic take a look at whatever your purchasing to save you time money and stress in the long run.Update : have been without my car for THREE WEEKS due to it needing a WHOLE NEW ENGINE. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!!!!!!!

Amazing experience ! Drove 175 miles one way to pick up a lexus they had in inventory . Brandon the sales man was detailed , honest , and super friendly with me , he anweared all my questions and car was better in person then in videos and pictures. I arrived to a good clean car and drove home beyond happy . Check out their inventory and ask to speak to Brandon !

I recently had two older cars I needed to sell. I'd tried on and off to sell them myself - with all the hassles that involved - but with no luck. One day I noticed the Trade Guru (Venice) van in my neighborhood so I called them right then and there and spoke with Josh. He came over the next morning, checked out the cars, and gave me a price quote on each. The following day Josh came over, gave me two checks and took the cars away. Done! Dealing with Josh was easy, quick, and no hassle. And most importantly, he gave me a very good price on each of the cars. If you're looking to sell your car, I highly recommend Trade Guru (Venice).

I purchased a 2019 Ford flex about 6 months ago. Unfortunately the water pump failed (a common issue with this type of car) and the owner was so helpful at taking care of me. I was able to have the car towed to them and his mechanic went above and beyond to fix the water pump, plus the timing chain while he was there and a few other parts that he saw needed to be changed out. The price for repairs was extremely fair... Like beyond fair. I'm so grateful. My car is running perfectly and the customer service was great. Thanks Josh, Brandon and mechanic!

Buyers Beware!I recently purchased a red Mini-Cooper convertible from Trade Guru in Venice Florida on March 29th, lured in by their promises of honesty, transparency, and quality service. However, my experience has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating.Misleading Representation: Despite their claims of thoroughly inspecting their cars, the Mini-Cooper I purchased turned out to have a significant oil leak, which was not disclosed during the sales process. This lack of transparency is hypocritical to what they claim on their website.Failed Customer Service: Upon discovering the issue, I attempted to reach out to Trade Guru to make a service appointment, as they had advertised discounted mechanical services for cars purchased from them. Despite assurances from Larry, one of their staff members, that the owner would contact me to arrange a service appointment, I never received any follow-up communication. My subsequent email inquiry also went unanswered, demonstrating a complete disregard for customer concerns and a failure to uphold their own promises.Deceptive Advertising: Trade Guru's website boasts of their commitment to Christian ethics, fair pricing, and superior customer service. However, my experience has revealed these claims to be nothing more than empty rhetoric. Their failure to address my issue or even respond to my inquiries speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and disregard for customer satisfaction.Buyers Beware. Their deceptive practices and failure to fulfill their own promises make them an unreliable and untrustworthy dealership. I regret placing my trust in them and would advise others to seek out more reputable establishments for their car-buying needs.As a follow up, update to this review.its now April 4th. (1 week after I left this reivew)The only communication I recieved from this company thus far was their complaints to me for leaving them a poor review. Not a single apology for the so called "mistake" about not seeing the oil leaks, not an offer to service the car at the reduced rate they promise on their website. nothing...Total cost to fix the car that I purchased from TradeGuru was $2,500. The car needed all new breaks, and had 2 oil leaks, one at the valve cover and the other at the oil pan.Buyers should beware of this company.

A faith based, family owned and operated car business? We were sold there.Brandon was fantastic. Great to work with and made things simple.We met Josh, the owner as well. Genuinely good people.I dread buying cars. This experience was the best we ve had!

Trade Guru s was such a great experience buying my used car! I had looked everywhere, drove to Tampa, Sarasota, Bradenton and Naples. I kept walking away from deals because of a bad feeling, like sales people were hiding something- rebuilt titles, no car fax not willing to do anything for the fees they charged. I even checked out private sale and it was just as bad until Car Gurus came up in a search and realized it was right in my neighborhood, Venice Fl! I went to see the car and test drove it, asked all my questions, did my research and went home to think about it, then went back to test drive again. I felt that this place was different and couldn t believe it was so close. They provided a car fax, took time to go through everything about the car. They were understanding about what I needed to feel confident with this purchase and I knew this was a place I could trust. They were more than transparent, kind and trustworthy. When I picked up my car it looked amazing. I am extremely pleased and know I have a great car! I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a car. I m not really someone who writes reviews but this place is more than deserving of a 5+ star review. Shout out to Brandon, Josh and there team. THANK YOU! 2013 Acura TL

Called this dealership, the person who answered apparently was bored and annoyed with my questions about a particular car on inventory, requested to talk with owner and he got very negative. I had to push harder to speak with owner and finally he got me the owner phone number Josh. His voicemail was full, text it him and his red was What do you need I m on the other line I inquired about the car then he told me to call sales. I made him an offer via text and never responded.Dealership proclaims been a Veteran and Christian , I identified myself as a Retired USMarine, lesson learnt, it makes no difference. Thanks for nothing, I ll spend my money elsewhere, the positive side of this is if this is how they do business I can just imagine service after the purchase.

I bought a car from trade guru a few years ago at the one in Sarasota, it was a hyundai azera and we dealt with Josh. The whole experience from beginning to end was a very pleasant experience! He wasn't pushy at all & got us to the price we wanted & he was very professional & kind! It was one of the more enjoyable car experiences I've had and the car was GREAT! Went back to them yesterday - the one in Venice this time & found a car I loved a VW atlas, the car was beautiful and ran great and was exactly what I'm looking for. They were very professional and sat down and worked with us on some pricing & were very professional and respectful. Although we didn't end up purchasing the car(more for our own reasons nothing to do with them) I will definitely be going back to them when the time comes!!

OnlineI came across what I thought was a great business owner dealership.I am a single woman who called this location to inquire about 3 vehicle models, on the phone.I have been in sales for 40 years.Our work ethic seems to be quite a bit different in MN than down South here at this Florida location, in Venice. The salesperson wanted me to do the homework in regards to the 3 directly top of line vehicles.His comment was I m not the buyer and the seller for vehicles. Brandon & I exchanged a short conversation about this subject & I was hung up on.I was looking to pay cash at this establishment.With this type of phone service, I think that I will pass on working with a salesperson that should not be in sales at all.

Purchased 2013 Ford Edge July 17, and during the signing process, it seemed odd that I was asked to verify that I have a mechanic in the family. Drove it a couple months transmission fluid is completely gone out empty and it s jumping which means it now needs a new transmission which our mechanic cannot put in. There is no leak so there is an underlying transmission problem. Send they sell problematic vehicles and pass them off. This goes right down to the Ford decal in the front of the vehicle that fell off within a couple of weeks. We do not have the equipment to replace a transmission. The cheapest I can find is $2500 and that s not including labor to put it in. I will be checking to see if there is recourse for me to take. So, shady is probably the word I would use. Too bad because the buying experience was good and I intended to send my son to buy his vehicle there soon.I did not buy a high mileage vehicle. One of the features you told is you have low, mileage vehicles. One of the things that attracted me. The vehicle had to 77,899 miles. So no it was not high miles. I ve noticed that you respond a little nastily to everyone who is posting reviews here. It s very hard to put down a decent down payment, pay monthly payments and then have to deal with a four or $5000 repair.

Great guys, was looking at a truck ready to pull the trigger when the owner walks up and says I've got an even better deal for you. Hooked me up with a gorgeous 2011 Silverado, exactly what I wanted from the engine to the transmission. Treat these guys right, and they'll go above and beyond for you, best can buying experience to date.Have to give an update these guys get me what I'm after little older this time but July 2023 is antique time. 89 f150 5.0. love this dealer.You know what, big shout out to my boss Josh Stacy he wasn't happy but he understands, I need time to clean up... If anyone is looking for a vehicle, I suggest you stop by trade guru in Venice. We have tons of selections, and a very hard working team.

These guys are very transparent and honest, larry and josh gave Us very good information on the cars we were interested in. We looked at a couple of cars they steered us away from, mostly minor issues, but when does a dealer do that? After selecting two cars we liked, we wanted to leave and come back another day after doing research on our choices. The dealer wished us a good night and we left. When is the last time you visited a dealer and they didn t panic and begin the games to get you to buy their vehicle when you tried to leave. They have the lowest dealer fee in the areas and no add on s like fabric protection and other worthless items. If you re looking for a good used car, stop at Trade Gurus in Venice for no pressure sales and honest sale people. We did purchase a used one owner car from them replacing my wife s car destroyed by the hurricane and are really enjoying the BMW. One of the best car purchases and the best experience in purchasing our new vehicle.

When I googled and read the first few reviews, a Blue Hair guy was mentioned. My husband had said he called and spoke to Brandon. I met Brandon (with silver hair) the next day. Nice guy. Don t believe the Blue hair guy review.I walked into to a nicely decorated place, kind of farmhouse modern with a fun twist! Found Brandon, and looked at a car. Then a few more. I took one for a spin, alone, they actually trust you to drive the car alone. So much less intimidating. That really keeps me from going to a dealership. I hate taking a test drive with a random stranger. It also allows more of a connection I think with the car, without the person watching your every move. I then took it on an extended drive to show my husband and pick up my loan docs. Only thing I asked for was two new tires and an oil change to which they agreed! Thank you! Came back and finalized the deal, no haggling, no pushy salesmen, etc. The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and answered all my questions. Brandon made it super duper easy!I really like the owners about us spiel. That is what ultimately led my husband to look on the website.So if you re in the market for a really nice used car, try them out first, you won t be disappointed! Lots with very low mileage which is what I was looking for. They had a nice lot with a good selection! And ask for Brandon! (with the Blue hair! Haha!)I ll be sending my friends and family, that s for sure.

I worked with Daniel a couple of months ago to purchase my little VW Beetle convertible and he made it so easy. He was friendly, available and more than fair. I had a minor issue after purchase which he made right immediately. Trade Gurus even registered the car for me with no hassle!!!!! I love the car and the price was remarkably low! Not only do I always recommend them, I would go back if or when I m in the market again. Thanks guys...you re awesome

I'm not sure how a financial manager has a right to ask me "do you need two cars" when I said I have no way to drive up there from Fort Myers and drive both cars back so I will have to ship it here. I sure don't think it's anyones business if I want two cars! On top of that I was told of some sub prime loan because of my credit which I questioned because my credit it excellent. Answer"oh, yeah, I thought it was 607 instead of 807, didn't have my glasses on"! Still will be sub prime, I can't sell it that price! I didn't know advertised price could change depending on the individual! His name is Barry and very rude!

If you are looking for an honest car place look no further. I've been in sales and had my own business for over 20 years and this place tops the list of how you are suppose to be treated! Their cars are very fairly priced and our sales guy Larry and Josh the owner did a phenomenal job! I don't leave many reviews but this one deserved one! Come here before you go anywhere else...Herb

I would give no stars if that was an option. Beware of the scam artists running this place. We bought a car end of Dec/early January. It test drove fine, we gave a $6000 cash deposit and headed home. Within 15 mins of driving home the car began smoking. It has been a nightmare ever since. We ve paid THOUSANDS of dollars in repairs and ultimately the car still needs a new engine. The owners answer to this is to bring the car back and we pay his price for a new motor. Due to trade guru s patch work on the car we were SCAMMED into buying what we thought would be a reliable car for my husband to get back and forth to work in.These people are the worst kind of people and after reading the other reviews it is clear they should not be in business. Bad people doing bad business, taking advantage of innocent HARD WORKING people.
