Excellent service. I'm so glad I have them. Well worth the 30 min drive to Venice. The KiA dealer ( Port Charlotte )that is closer to my home and sold us the car unfortunately not worth it. They would not and did not help at all with safety recall. I had to call Venice. Jordan from Venice was able to assist me over phone in seconds. Professional, polite and honestly knows his stuff. Truly an asset. Thank you Jordan so much .

Dave Reichert with Sunset KIA of Venice was a great help with my used truck purchase. I really appreciated him. I was very happy with that side of the sales process and we worked out a great price!I wasn't happy with my experience with the finance person. She was really pushing me hard to purchase an extended warranty. I mean hard! I politely told her no several times, and she just kept trying so hard to make me worried about my choice.

When we were ready to purchase, Cory made that process quick and easy. It was the fastest and most efficient way to go through the paperwork that I have experienced.

Jordan Carlisle in the Service Dept. was great to work with from setting our original appointment to picking up our car after completed. He took care of the warranty work and also the recall updates on our 2019 Sorento. We didn't buy the car here originally but will definitely stop by when we are ready for another Kia. This dealership is just awesome, having some experience in the car market I can tell you that they don't play around with the customer. They really compete for your business and are very transparent, that in itself has a lot of value for me. My salesman Chase was the easiest person to work with, very reasonable and provided top notch service, even drove and deliver some paperwork needed to my house located an hour away! Extremely happy with the purchase. I fully recommend contacting Chase, he goes above and beyond.

I absolutely enjoyed my entire experience with Sunset Kia in Venice, FL as well as my interactions with Erik, my salesman. From the very first day that my husband and I stopped into the dealership, Erik was patient and not smothering. My husband let him know that we were looking and if we had questions that we would find him. Erik respected our wishes and once we had a few questions he was able to answer all of them. I immediately had fallen in love with a gravity gray Sorento SX-and would have driven off the lot that day-but my husband insisted we take a few days to think about it. Fast forward a few days and the vehicle I wanted was already gone! At this point is where I experienced Erik s patience and sense of humor! He searched their incoming inventory and let me know that an exact vehicle would be arriving in a few weeks and that it would be put on hold for me. I literally text him multiple times a week asking for updates and he always responded with humor. Once the day finally arrived for me to come in and finalize my purchase it was all an easy transaction. I would wholeheartedly return to this dealership for a future purchase.

After visiting several dealerships based on phone calls, I was very disappointed with hidden fees and a lack of trust. We met with JJ of Sunset KIA of Venice and what we discussed on the phone was what happened. JJ was knowledgeable and I didn't feel like I was being scammed. We purchased our car and picked it up a few days later, our choice. The manager walked my husband and me through the paperwork. JJ spent a very long time in the car with us demonstrating the features. I highly recommend the dealership and JJ. I will definitely buy from them again.

Anytime ive gone in for service ive always been treated awesome. Jordan my service advisor is complete with his explanations and why things were done or need to be. All the techs are super careful with my car and respectful to my concerns. Westley, who has worked on my car most of the time, has always made sure im happy with his repairs and informed me of what is going on. Whether it be directly to me or through Jordan.I bought the car here and have never had a bad experience. From purchasing to servicing. Even several years after i get phone calls making sure im happy with my car.

Totally tried to rip me off!! Went in for a tire rotation, was charged, but they never did the job! I know this because I was smart enough to mark the tires! Now I m second guessing the oil change they did last week. I ll never do business with the dealership again!!

I bought my 2022 kia sorento in October and I couldn't be happier with my choice. I absolutely love my car. The features are amazing. The trial Sirius got me hooked and Im subscribing when the trial ends. I also love how I can access my warranty information online and even any recalls that may come up. The warranty couldn't be better. My salesperson, Chase Blowers, was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and has been just a call or text away for all of my questions and concerns. Thank you Chase and kia of Venice!!!!

Here from Rochester New York visiting my son and his wife. I am a retired (8 weeks) General Manager of a full service Hyundai dealership. I purchased a brand new 2023 Hyundai Santa Fe a couple of weeks prior to driving here to Safety Harbor. On Tuesday 11/14 I was heading to North Port to have dinner with some friends when my problem started. I must have run over something because I m losing tire pressure. I tried to google a Hyundai but they were many miles away. While driving down highway 41 I see this dealership KIA Sunset Venice Florida; so I decided to pull in and go over my problem. I had a tire going down, a large nail/screw stuck in the tread right on the side wall. I met Jordan Carlisle who could have easily said to me there s nothing I can do till tomorrow and your tire is a special order tire so it could take a couple more days. NOPE NOT AT ALL; Jordan went back to the mechanics area and then to parts to see about a tire. Came back and said we have everything and the mechanic is taking your vehicle to his bay and the tire is here. From start to finish was only 1 hour. Jordan from a GM of a Hyundai store JOB WELL DONE; you understood the situation, handled it with the professionalism, and completed the task in a timely manner. Thank you so much. This was my first experience buying a brand new car which can be daunting for some. I called the Sunset Kia of Venice and Rich was eager to assist me and help me get my new vehicle. The vehicle I was interested in was en route and he suggested that I put a deposit because they get sold so quickly. So I did that and I am beyond happy with my decision. Rich was extremely professional, explained everything I needed to know in an easy to understand way and when the vehicle finally arrived at the dealership, I was in love. I highly recommend this dealership, Rich and the rest of the staff were extremely friendly and made me feel welcome. I love my new vehicle and would go back to Sunset Kia of Venice to purchase another vehicle in the future!

Had a very pleasant experiance working with Chase!! He help us get into a new 2020 Niro hybrid. negeotiations were very friendly and we got a good deal when we were finished.Yesterday he helped get me into a new Kia Forte-gt line! Negotiations again went well and we both felt we had come to a great deal (price) Never thought I would buy 2 cars in 1 month but with Chase's help we accomplished it!He was very nice to work with compared to some other dealerships that I have dealt with. No high pressure treatment a great plus!Chase really need to get some chrome wheels for those GT-line models....HA HA HAThanks for everything!Marv and Bev Moore

WORST EXPERIENCE!!! After scheduling an appointment with Kelsey for my 2008 Kia Spectra to be looked at Fri 9/22 my car was not actually looked at until late Monday 9/25. Was told it would be looked at first thing 8:00am Saturday 9/23, after it not being looked at Friday NOT TRUE! I was told I needed $1,500 repairs after my Kia was just FULLY serviced at the Sarasota dealership in June with Shawn & Patrick. The diagnostic run by Venice Kia was INCORRECT and not the problem on my car after getting a second opinion!! Furthermore, when I explained to Kia I am suffering financial hardship and could only get the problem at hand fixed which turned out to not be what is wrong with my car they tried to force me into a repair for an exorbitant unfair price or they would not warranty the work. Kelsey was difficult to communicate with especially when asking for an estimate breakdown. I was emailed a piece of paper that had parts order numbers and notes that did not match. When I asked for a better breakdown I was given a piece of paper without my VIN # and did not look legit and also did not match the parts and service I was told I needed. I knew I had to get my car out of there especially with the uncertainty of when they could do any of these repairs. I was told "a week to a week and a half." I was treated so poorly by this Kia and will be turning over to the Better Business Bureau and am seeking a refund for a FALSE diagnostic test. Upon providing my credit card number on the phone I was told the total was $223. The diagnostic was $190 with 7% tax brings it to $203.30 when I inquired what the extra charge was I was told shop supplies. The only thing that went right was getting the shop supply fee taken off. This Venice Kia also tells me they will give me $250-$500 for my vehicle and would like to sell me a new car. Imagine that.. I don't appreciate the lies, harassment, and taking advantage of someone and you're providing poor inaccurate untimely workmanship. I had placed a call to Shawn at the Sarasota Kia and he said to call him back if there were anymore problems.

I went to this dealership on Saturday with my grandfather because he was purchasing a new car and I was trading mine in. The whole team that was there was super nice especially Andy and the finance guy named Kenny. They helped and were very patient my 90 year old grandfather with getting his new car sorted out, and they were both very nice in assisting me with my needs! 100/10 recommend going to this location to purchase a new car! Great customer service, patience, understanding, and explaining. Great job Kia and get Andy and Kenny a promotion!

I've been a customer for over 9 years here... purchased a new 2015 Optima from them. As is my normal MO, I purchase new and then take it to the dealership for all service (except tires), so that they have 100% of the records and responsibility.The initial purchase transaction was great... first time I honestly felt like I'd received a good deal from a car buying experience (it may have helped that I had previously worked for another KIA dealership in the same family, but whatever)...For the first couple of years, I always had the same service advisor and he was fantastic. Again, I felt like they were being honest with me and not just trying to sell service I didn't really need. For instance, they would tell me that they would recommend something but that it wasn't urgent and could be done next time (or the time after) that I was in, rather than the drama of you have to get this done right now.Shortly after I purchased my car, the GM left to take over another dealership that was failing, and soon after the salesman who had been promoted also left. Since I wasn't in the market to make another purchase yet, no biggie. Then my service advisor left (due to some personal issues, so I understood).Since then, it has been a rotating door of service advisors, none of which has seemed to last more than about 6 months. This, in and of itself isn't necessarily a bad thing but neither is it good. Fortunately, the quality of work seemed to remain consistent so I continued to return.Until about 3 weeks ago when I needed what would probably be some moderate to major service... in addition to a regular service (oil change, etc) I needed to have the starter system examined/repaired due to random difficulty in starting the car along with probably having the A/C system flushed and reprimed (which I had previously been told was $600-700 minimum, even though local repair shops are well under $500 for the same thing). So, with all of this work needing to be done I called to schedule an appointment. Apparently there were no service advisors available because I was dumped into someone's voice mail. After leaving a message, I assumed I would hear back later that day. Nope, 2 weeks and no follow-up. During that same period, I also tried calling again but once again was sent to voicemail rather than being able to talk to someone.The final straw was when after these 2 weeks I sent the service manager an e-mail, and copied the new GM, about the lack of response. Guess what the response to that was? Yep... NOTHING (from either the service manager or GM). It must be really nice to be so busy that you don't have time to respond to a long-time customer...So, I cannot and will not recommend this dealership.Edited to add: not too long after posting this review (maybe a couple of hours)... my phone started blowing up with calls from the service advisor and GM... interesting timing.

This was the best experience I ve ever had when picking out a car. Erik was my sales man and he sold me a brand new 2023 Kia Sorento. I love it! Everybody there was super helpful. He answered all of our questions and no matter how many times we asked about something, he was always polite. Hanna is the finance manager and she did all our paperwork with us and was amazing as well! They made sure my car was PERFECT for me to take home.110% recommend this dealership!
