They have done a good amount of work in just the last month on my Yamaha Majesty. The work was done on time, done right. Bob is more than fair in his pricing.I highly recommend this shop for your scooter repairs.

I desperately wanted to get my scooter started and running for a Christmas scooter ride in two days Everyone wanted to keep it for a week or more and home mobile service was a 2 week wait for an appt. I literally did a Google search for a scooter repair found Sarasota Scooters and Bob answered he said bring it right down .I did and his magic hands got her up and running I was in and out in 20 minutes for $20 bucks. Merry Christmas to me!!!Also he stated that he is NOT an in and out repair guy. So, I have found my new scooter repair and maintenance person! He could not have been any nicer, thoughtful, kind, smart, knowledgeable or fair. Highly recommend. Thank you Bob @Sarasota scooters. I will be seeing you again!

I can t say enough great things about Bob and Sarasota Scooters. I came into the store on a Wednesday afternoon and Bob had my new scooter delivered on Friday morning. He could have delivered sooner but I had paperwork to clear up on my trade in first. When he delivered my new scooter he went over everything and answered all my questions. After having a less than good experience at another SRQ dealer I m glad to have found and dealt with Bob and Sarasota Scooters.

I purchased a genuine, buddy, 50 from Sarasota scooters with 2000 miles. And was told that it was fully functional and had 0 issues and has been gone over by the mechanic. When I asked why it wouldnt start up and run properly or idle at the dealership. He said it was because it's been sitting and "you know how 2 strokes are" I took it home to find that the carb was leaking Fuel all over my garage floor the next morning I took the belt case cover off and found remnants of a broken belt And flattened roller weights and a broken variometer that was bent and chipped. I wish I could figure out how to upload photos. And I would show how horrible the work is from the shop. They truly are dealing with people's lives and could not care less.

I recently purchased a scooter from Sarasota Scooters and want to share my experience. The owner went out of his way to accommodate my schedule. He registers, does the title work, and gives a brief demonstration on riding the scooter. Unfortunately, as sometimes happens, the scooter had a faulty ignition and wouldn t start. I called the owner and after troubleshooting, changing the battery, and trying other alternatives without success, he drove out of his way to pick up the scooter. He then repaired the ignition right away because he knew it was needed for transportation to and from work. The owner then ordered a new ignition and will install it when the part comes in. The main point I m attempting to convey is that he stands behind his product. He wants a satisfied customer and he is trustworthy. I would highly recommend Sarasota Scooters for sales and service.

Sarasota scooters is the place to go if you are in the market for a scooter. Bob was so helpful. He explained everything about my new scooter. He even delivered it for me. He is very honest and made the process of my purchase easy We plan on taking ours scooters back for maintenance in the future

Bob made the purchase of my new scooter effortless. He even delivered my scooter to my house, as my helmet had not yet arrived (and i do not ride without one). He explained all the ins and outs, and let me know if I had any questions, to hit him up any time.It was a pleasure doing business there! Thank you Bob.

Bob is great! He was very helpful to me when I purchased my scooter from him. After almost 3000 miles and daily use in 8 months, it had a small electrical problem. It was covered under warranty and was fixed in three days! He also notice I need air in my tires and gave me some maintenance tips. I definitely recommend supporting Bob's business both sales and service.

Brought in my Brio 50i based on a "check engine" light. Even though Bob did not sell me the vehicle nor carries Genuine scooters, his team checked it over and determined nothing was wrong. And he refused to charge me for his time. I now trust him and found my new local mechanic for my scooter! Many thanks!

I purchased a scooter trike from the owner Bob. It was a incredible buying experience. Bob is a true professional, no nonsense , tell it like it is type of guy. His interest in making me understand my scooter was much appreciated. I live 76 miles away and when I m ready to buy again I will be back. If you live in Venice , do business with Bob.

Called to find out if they could replace my tire while I waited. Was told sure no problem. Will take about 45 minutes. I said I would be there at 2pm. When I arrived I was told it would take a few hours until they could even get to my scooter. Then they tried to sell me a tire to go elsewhere for mounting. I hate Liars. Beware of this place.

Bob was a great guy to work with. Understood what I was looking for and the frustrations trying to find a bike. He had what I wanted right there in his shop. I as thrilled. He also understands I need to ship it to my state and is helping me along the way. Couldn t be happier.

Great service and an exceptional mechanic. I have a Vespa gt200 and it was at another shop for overs 2 months and they were unable to fix my moped and believed I needed to replace the engine. I took it over to Sarasota Scooters for a second opinion and they repaired my scooter and had it back to me all within the same day. I highly recommend them. 5 Star Service

My Vespa wasn t starting and needed a new carburetor. I had originally called another scooter business to get it repaired but they were never able to get back to me to fix it after waiting weeks going nowhere so glad to have called Sarasota Scooters they were very responsive and communicated on the schedule very well. Also they did pick up and delivery which made it even easier.

I have a 2014 50cc gen 1 icebear mad dog Rukus clone that stopped running tho it only had 300 Miles on it. I had difficulty finding someone to get it running again. The closest mechanic I could find was in Pinellas county until I found this business in Venice. I called them and they stated they can repair it. They picked the bike up for me the next morning and had it delivered back to me that night. I was extremely impressed by their professionalism and quality of work. My bike, tho new but old, rides and sounds BETTER now, than the day I purchased it. Thank you for getting my bike on the road again. You did a phenomenal job!!!

I own a Genuine Buddy 125cc, which I bought before I moved to Florida. I was new in town and I was nervous about getting my precious scooter serviced by new people. I now get all of my regular maintenance done at Sarasota Scooters! they've always done an awesome job and they've kept my scooter running like a freight train for the past 3 years even though it has over 25,000 miles on it! The owner, Bob has always given me a fair price for maintenance and repairs. Any repairs they have made have always been fixed right the first time. They've even made a house call for me when I randomly had some trouble getting it to start one day. whatever the problem, they always have me back on the road in no time. I would recommend Sarasota Scooters to everyone!

Test ride with the used scooters for understanding the 50cc vs 150cc different.Clear explanation for requirements.Fast and easy paperwork.Delivery to home.I do not have any experience for service yet but I will update.Totally 5 star... Thank you Bob.UpdateAfter 1 year... Still 5 star... You will not just buy a scooter, you will buy mazing service for your scooter. Highly recommend...

Excellent shop for those interested in scooters large and small, they have big ones over four hundred cc's that are well there motorcycles. They sell a variety of new scooters and motorcycles as well as used ones occasionally. Bob the owner is a very nice guy and he's willing to work with you if you're serious about a purchase. Marco the mechanic is an excellent mechanic, very knowledgeable and proficient in all of his work. It helps to make an appointment but if you have an emergency problem they will try to help you as soon as possible. Friendly, exceptional service and good merchandise!

Sarasota Sooters has been great... Just stopped by to look because I needed a good commuter vehicle. Bob was informative and no pressure. I came back the next week to buy, and was just as helpful. Marco his mechanic just did my first service and was awesome as well. Thanks guys!

Had 2 scooters that were not running for 2 years and would not start. Bob came over and picked them up from my home and had them ready and running the next day and delivered. Price was fair and customer service outstanding. Extremely pleased.

I've had several experiences with Bob & Sarasota Scooter in the past 2 years. The owner is focused on profits, and servicing customers comes last. I recently had my scooter damaged there during routine service. The part damaged costs about $30, and labor to put it on about $10. The mechanic warned me that no one there would ever take responsibility for the damage, and he was right. He charged me about 19% more for the service than comparable service centers, and would not repair the damage they caused while the bike was in their care. There are more reputable dealers in the area who will treat you with respect, and take ownership when they make mistakes. At Sarasota Scooters it's always the customer's fault. That's a great reason to do business there...right? Buyer beware!

The owner Bob is very poor in customer service and doesn't care what you think. I brought my scooter.in to get repaired an they broke my windshield. He has a camera and I ask to look at tape he refused. I said what are you going to do about it. He said it didn't have one on. But I have my friends even saying it was on the bike. I know I cleaned it before it went there. I and many others that I have talked to said he's an a__ hole. And don't do business with him .. now I take my bike to Randy scooter shop by the Sarasota airport. Much better service. I was told before I left the Bob (owner) that he would pay for another if i could find one .he doesn't have the time for me. So next day I went back an he said it did not have one on. He's not paying. I was hot.mad and I yelled. He lies he wouldn't let me see camera. But yet there was broken pieces still attached to the bolts. You tell me what you think.....DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH SARASOTA SCOOTER OF VENICE. THEY WON'T CARE ABOUT YOU AT ALL. I WILL BE WRITING TO BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.

I bought a scooter from Bob which I love. He and his mechanic, Marco,gave good advice and Bob has been super helpful when I had a question. I also think his prices are very fair. A good shop!

This place was awesome, local, and affordable. They didn t do unnecessary things for maintenance and only serviced wha Breeder to be done. This man is knowledgeable and absolutely puts the customer first in all he does. Plus he has a super cute doggie that you can visits with while you re at the shop!

I am a M.D. who has practiced in Sarasota for over 20 years. Bob runs his shops with a degree pf professionalism not often seen in the service industry. He is honest, knowledgeable, caring and fair. In every time instance this has been the case, I cannot understand any negative reviews. Since Bob sold us our our first of many scooters, which we LOVE riding on Casey Key, my daughter, now twelve, has called him "uncle Bob" because he convinced me to but a yellow scooter like her bus when she was seven! Give Sarasota Scooters your business, they will make you happy!!

Every time I would schedule a visit I would show up an Bob would push me away, it was like he didn't want to do warranty work on my 2018 Rx wolf 50 because I didn't buy it from him. Marco the machanic is really good but owner Bob a joke an i wouldn't recommend him to anyone. The best I've been to is Sarasota mopeds an scooters, best service by far 5 stars all day every day!!O yeah an when I took my 2018 wolf there for the fist service he blantly lied to my mother who drove up there from ft myers an said that he adjusted the valves an when I took it to the new shop I go to the owner told me Bob or his machanic had never touched the valve's because there wasn't a single mark from tools on them, an if your a machnic in anyway shape or form you know that the tools would leave some little marks on the bolts!! Tottal douche bags an all about $$ an that's it. Owner is very rude with no kind of respect at all!! Please beware of this place.....
