I called Petes and within two hours I had a brand new tire. He s quick, punctual, and super friendly. I used him so he could change my tire at my house and he gave me a great price!! We will be using him again in the future.

Pete is an old school professional. Polite, prompt, and friendly.He helped me with a flat tire on my RV when everyone else was too busy to help.His truck is well equipped and he can do anything tire related.Highly recommended

This man is a life saver! Hurricane Ian turned my life upside down and we only had one vehicle for about 12 of us. We popped a tire from metal on the road and no one would put a new tire on a rim for us but within an hour, Pete could get us in !!! Took 10 minutes and we were off. Thank you a million times over. Will definitely continue to recommend

I rarely take the time to leave reviews but this one was worthy. Pete is definitely one of the good guys! He came out to the house and not only fixed our tractor tire, but went above and beyond to teach our son how to change a stem. I tried to pay him a little extra and instead he turned around and shook my son's hand and gave him a twenty for "helping" him. He was prompt (even early), thorough, friendly, fair, and genuinely an all around nice guy. We will definitely be repeat customers. Thanks, Pete!

Sadly, new owner, dishonest, and theft occurred at my service. Now I find out that he has a history of theft on his record. They also told me that they put on a new tire and I went to a new shop that told me it is indeed not a new tire at all and they broke the center Cadillac cover cap and hid it in the back of the vehicle. I reached back out to them and ask them the name brand of the new tire they sold me and he hung up on me.

He was so awesome gave me a great price came to my house the next day with a new tire I needed badly. He even pumped up my son's motorcycle tires that were low didn't even ask him to do that he just went and did it how awesome is that! Don't find too many that go outta there way these days so thanks so much I'll be using him always not for just his great service but for being so kind and going the Xtra!!

I could not recommend Pistol Pete's more! My starter in my Nissan was completely shot and this team of amazing guys took my car in and had it ready by the next morning. My starter was a hard one to find but they still got everything done at such a reasonable price in UNDER 24 hours. I won't be taking our families vehicle's anywhere else but here. THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH!Side note:You easily could have talked me into getting a new alternator as well and were 100% honest with me. I have been swindled at places around here in Venice before and was talked into getting unnecessary work done. Thank you for your honesty and integrity!

I used to do road service my name is Steve Cary and it never fails you get that one customer you you can't satisfy or just can't get to , well here is my story any body remember Charley back in 04.? Well went out that night during Charley and change the flat tire and charged half price well a few days later that customer complained to the state MV36707 Make no mistake it was bad out, this customer complained to the state and the state promptly got back to me the lady from the state was very nice . I said what I did and ask her if she could make a verbatim reply for me I said and I quote myself "mam would you kindly tell those people to go Fuch themselves. That is not the end I got a other complaint just a couple days later from the same lady from the state this was another customer from the same night I ask the state lady if she remembered my reply to them she did,. well then I said you have my permission to use the very same quote with those ingrates. Therefore pistol Pete I will keep your number in my emergency book course people got to know you ain't that special thanks I'm glad there is some one as good as I was be seeing PP. STEVE CARY retired.

Highly recommend Pistol Pete tires if you are looking for new tires. His prices were well below other quotes from the area AND he saved me the hassle of having to sit in a lobby for hours on end. He came to my house and completed the job in my driveway. 4 new tires in less than an hour! Couldn't be happier! He also let my toddler "help" him which made my son's day!If you need tires, this is the best option in the area!

Called on Sunday needing assistance, after multiple calls one was finally answered by the owner who had an attitude and told me they weren t open Sundays even though google hours for the company say 9am-9pm. Owner has an attitude and wrong business hours they need to get it together, way better companies out there in the area to use.

Great people very friendly and helpful. Would definitely send family and friends here without a doubt. I run Browns Freezer Fresh meals with my wife and we needed someone we could trust for our Automotive needs. The shop is a full-service shop now and we will go nowhere else.

Pistol was excellent. His service was fast and efficient for a great price and it was much better than hanging out at a tire shop for four hours. He came to my business, put on the tires within an hour, and was on his way. Thank you so much pistol Pete s tires.

First time customer, I install windows for work and frequently get nails/screws in my tires. Pete showed up nice and early and fixed my punctured tire for a reasonable price and saved me the headache of waiting for a spot in my local garage. I m very satisfied with the service and will definitely be a returning customer. Thanks Pistol!

After having real problems with used tires at another shop in North Port (I may only be keeping the car a few months before trading it in), I looked up PistolPetes in Venice for the size tires I would need. With only a very short delay I was told they had the size I needed. I asked how long before I could get an appointment, the lady laughed and said come right in. So I did. I was in and out within 15-20 minutes. The best service at a tire shop I have EVER had. Pistolpetes has a LARGE selection of new and used tires so I encourage all who read this posting stop in and talk to Bart and staff.

I wanted to leave a good review, but that's not going to happen now. I ordered tires for my daughter (I'm in CT) owner made the appointment with my daughter for the next day at her house. He called me the morning of the appointment saying he didn't have an address (not true),then he called my daughter an hour before her appointment and told her she had to come to him and could she come "right now" she said she would get there asap, but alas, he had someone else's car there being worked on so she had to wait. Then because my daughter couldn't find the luggage key, he wanted $50 extra with no guarantee he wouldn't break anything. I said absolutely no, forget it. He was supposed to refund ke that day, it's been well over a month with no refund. And he wants a 20% stocking fee that's not listed anywhere on his website.

The guys here are fantastic. Had 3 different issues with my tires within a month's time and each time they took great care of mel. They had me out the door in less than 20 minutes and made me feel appreciated as a customer. Prices are decent, tires are in great condition.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND!This place saved the day!! Traveling home, and still having over an hour to go, my tire messed up.I tried a few other shops and nobody could do it for at least two hours minimum and it was going to cost an arm and a leg.I called Pistol Pete s and explained my situation and he told me to come on in. I had no appointment and he was busy but I was in and out in less that 15 MINUTES!!! Not to mention he saved me a pretty penny compared to the other shop.I hate that I can t remember the guys name, but he was super friendly and definitely knew what he was doing! SOMEONE GIVE THAT MAN A RAISE!Again, I highly recommend them! They will not disappoint.

Joshua and his colleague helped me out when I needed a tire quickly. I am here for a quick vacation from Orlando and popped my tire 5 minutes before I got to the house. This happened Friday night around 8:45pm. The next morning I called about 10 places and nobody had my tire size. I then called Pistol Pete and they gave me a great price on a gently used tire and was done in 20 minutes. They were so nice and so helpful! Thank you so much!!

Excellent service experience from Bart and Keith! I purchased 4 new tires for my 1984 Jeep Wrangler. The tires are of excellent quality and had a great price. I also enjoyed Frankie the shop dog. Overall a great experience and I would highly recommend them!

Had 4 tires for my truck at reasonable price. Took less than an hour and enjoyed the conversation . What more could you ask for. Can't rate quality of the used tires yet as we haven't 20 miles on them yet but so far so good . I can say I can feel Itasca better ride with these tires !!!!THANKS Pistol Pete's

Went to several of the big name tire stores for a patch for a slow leak in a nearly new tire and they would not patch it due to corporate policy regarding location of nail holes and permissibility of patching. Thankfully one of the guys at the Firestone said it us perfectly safe to patch/plug my nail hole and directed me to Pistol Petes. No fuss, straight up place that quickly fixed my issue. Looks like a nice place to get new tires as well for low prices.

(Read edit) Best place hands down for affordable tires in venice florida , Pete's always super friendly an understanding an the boys get the job done quick an the tires are always good qualityEdit: came back to Pete s shop to get a tire he told me he d be back by 2 from lunch . I showed up around 2:15 and waited for 15-20 minutes outside his office to be told he s in the back doing something . I walked back there mind you with 6 other guys jus standing around talking an was told he was too busy to get me a new tire an was extremely rude an unprofessional. Would not recommend if you re trying to get something done quick an efficient not to mention the previous tire he sold had barley any tread on it . I guess you get what you pay for .

I highly recommend Pistol Petes. They are a great team, professional and friendly. They recently replaced 4 new tires on my vehicle for a very reasonable price. It was a pleasure doing business with them. You will not be disappointed.

The first time i purchased a used tire from here it was surprisingly in very good shape and cost only $20 for the tire and installation. The service was great and very fast. This is why i choose to come here again almost two months later. However the second experience was not even half as good. The prove of the same size used tire was doubled, meaning it would be smarter to go over to walmart and purchase a brand new cheap tire for only $7 more. This was very disappointing to be told the price had doubled in less than and full 60 days.

Pete's is inexpensive, yes. Problem is on my last 2 visits, they scratched my heck out of my alloy wheels while replacing tires using their outdated equipment. End result, the up front low cost outweighed the overall expense of now looking at 3 jacked up wheels. Can't say I'll ever go back again.

I have had the pleasure of using Pistol Pete s services three times this past year. This is a true old school garage. Honest, hard working people.
