I can't start to explain how awesome the customer service was at this location. I had a bus breakdown and these guys went above and beyond to accommodate us as not every service center could take our vehicle due to having a dully. I believe it was Benjamin and Vladimir who went above and beyond to flip the vehicle in a unreal time and get us back on the road. If we ever happen to have car troubles again in this area, there's no doubt this is where we are going!

I recently visited Pep Boys and was thoroughly impressed with their service. I had a flat tire and needed a quick fix but wasn't able to schedule an appointment ahead of time. Despite this, they were able to fit me in and had the exact tire I needed. In no time at all, they fixed my tire and had me out the door. Their fast service made for a hassle-free experience that I'd recommend to anyone. Highly satisfied!

What a refreshing experience it is to do business with this group of exceptional individuals. They are professional in every sense of the word. Not only are they polite and friendly but also honest. It is a wonderful feeling to know that you are not being sold something that you really don't need. If they recommend a service then you can be assured that you actually need it. Workmanship is excellent and at a decent fair price. No better place to take your vehicle. Do yourself a favor and take your vehicle there.

Had a tire issue and called two other shops before pep boys. Neither shop seemed interested or willing to help me out. Called the pep boys Venice location and spoke w the manager and he took care of me better than expected at a price half the cost of Firestone when I called and got quoted. I ve used Firestone for 15yrs but it s all bad there now lately and the manager frank shouldn t be near any customer. Go to pep boys and get treated well and not taken advantage of. I was treated kindly and with a honest and appreciative attitude at pep boys! Simple text link gives you all the info and status of vehicle which was awesome!

Cannot recommend these guys enough. Came in for new struts on Jan 1st and Ben, the service manager went above and beyond in delivering service, ensuring that the needed parts were delivered and installed on the same day. But what was really exceptional is when the store was notified of a delivery delay for the new struts. Ben immediately communicated with me the news of this delay keeping me updated, and even went as far as applying a discount on my service due to the added wait time **EVEN though it was not their fault in ANY way**. When the struts did arrive, the technicians were timely in their installation and I was out of there before long. Highly competent team with exceptional customer service, I feel comfortable coming to this location for any car service needs.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful, over the phone and in shop! Kenny G had a refreshing positive attitude that put me at ease (I have a lot of anxiety about car repairs and auto shops because of past experiences and lack of experience). Customer service jobs aren t easy so I really appreciated the friendliness and positivity! The shop was spotless inside and I was greeted at 8 am with fresh coffee and a Christmas Movie while I waited I never thought I would want to go hang out at a tire shop for fun!

George and his crew were amazing! I was leaving a job site and ran over a screw after 4pm- I thought for sure I was going to have to wait until next day for service, but the guys immediately took a look, determined we could do a tire patch, grabbed my keys and put me into a bay for repairs! Fast and friendly service, reasonable price on a commercial vehicle. Kudos guys!

My battery in my car died a few weeks ago and PepBoys had the soonest availability to replace it. I had never used them before so I thought I d give them a try since I needed the battery replaced ASAP. I made the appointment, brought the car in, and it was done in 30mins or less. Great! I thought. I picked the car up, and then noticed that when I turned the car off, the Fan exhaust (or whatever the proper term is) would continue to run .. with the car off. I was eventually able to bring it back to the shop, because I didn t want to possibly ruin the brand new battery I had replaced. I took it in at 6pm (note: they closed at 7pm) and explained to the guy what was going on. He looked at me and laughed and said I would have to come back some other time when it wasn t 6pm. Whatever, I made an appointment to come back 10am Thursday. I come back 9:30am Thursday, I wait in the waiting room, 5 - 10mins later the guy comes back and tells me I m all set and ready to go. Gave me my keys and starts walking away. I said, excuse me, what was wrong with it. And he said, oh we unplugged something and didn t plug it back. And walked away. No apology or nothing. Just shrugged it off like it was no big deal. Very rude and unprofessional of you ask me. I will not be using them ever again.

Won t rotate my tires even if I have plenty of tread on them. Doesn t make sense. No longer will service my car here. Lost a customer for good now.

Ben is the manager there at this local Pep Boys in South Venice Florida he has gone above and beyond helping us. We are in a special situation and he is helping us out I have not used Pep Boys before but will be from here on out

Vladimir was extremely helpful and attentive to my needs as an Avis Customer. My rental car required a service otherwise I would need to exchange it. I called in the morning and was in for service that late afternoon just before closing. The following day the team took me right in to fix a puncture in the tire with minimal wait considering they had customers already. When I was leaving, the technician that fixed the tire flagged me down in the lot and wanted to let me know it adjusted all the tires to manufacturer specifications because the were a bit high. That's going the extra distance.

If I could leave a ZERO I would!My son took his vehicle in for an alignment. He is pretty ocd and took video of his dash while driving the car into the shop. After the job was done and he picked up the vehicle his dash was "lit up like a Christmas Tree." They refuse to admit their mistake and in fact asked him to leave the store when he questioned them about it. Horrible way to do business.!

I purchased four Michelin tires and it was a great experience. We had to order the tires and they came in as promised. I took advantage of their interest free financing. When the tires came in I was called and in one hour I was out. The premises are very clean and the waiting area is very pleasant. Thank you for a professional job. I am confident if something would come up they would take care of it.

Took 3.5 hours to get 4 tires and an alignment. The service guy working on my truck, squealed new tires when he was taking it for test drive. I'd also just gotten the truck detailed last month, had towels down to keep floor mats clean, he balled it up, spreading sand all over the clean carpet and mats. Needless to say, I was not happy with the disrespect to my vehicle by the service guy.

If we could leave a higher review we would do that. The guys at Pep Boys went way above and beyond anything that we could have asked for. Johnny took his time to come out and look at our vehicle. They put zip ties on the car because it had been in a crash the day before to help for a safe trip back. All the workers jumped in and to help and didn't ask for any money, because it wasn't a service they necessarily offered. Nicest people and a very clean shop. Big Thank you to they guys!

We needed a tire repair fast. Called and spoke with Adam an hour before closing time and he said bring it in! Andrew the tech jumped right on it and had it fixed quickly allowing us to make an important appointment the next day. Adam was a total professional. As someone with over 30 years in the automobile business I can say this was a great experience. We"ll be back.

Last week on 6/15/2023, I spent about 30 minutes discussing tire options for my Jeep Wrangler with the manager. We setup an appointment for this morning (6/22/2023) to install the tires. When I showed up for the appointment, I was told they did not have the tires at the shop, and they would reschedule the appointment (or offer a lesser tire).I have done a great deal of homework looking at various shops in the area and researching my tire options. Yesterday I received a text message reminding me of my appointment (why were you not prepared?). I am very disappointed in the Pep Boy Venice location. I now must start my search all over again - bad business, get your act together!

Vladimir M and the crew at the Venice Pep Boys was awesome. My tire was low, I went in made an appointment for upcoming two days. The next day my light came on for an oil change. When I went to Pep Boys the next day for my appointment, I asked Vladimir if he had time to do an oil change and rotate my tires? He said, "I will make it happen." Thank you!

Great experience with Pep Boys! I don't usually go to chain mechanics, but was in a bind on a Saturday with a minor issue and was headed down 41 trying to find a shop to fix it. First shop wanted double the going rate for the repair, next shop couldn't fit me in for 3 days, next stopped in at Pep Boys and they got me in, fixed my issue with no drama, and I was on my way quickly. Really appreciate the quick service and friendly attitude. Will be stopping there first next time!

Kenny G assisted me today. I called to see if I could be seen today as I had to get my car jump started yesterday. I was seen ASAP and they had the battery I needed at the shop. Quick and easy. This was my third time coming to this location since I bought my car and I've had a great experience each time. I appreciate being given what I need and only what I need.

These guys are fantastic! I was on my way to Sarasota when I picked up a hail. They got me in right away and quickly patched the tire no problem. A direct repair without any sales pitch for a new tire replacement whatsoever. That's professionalism. (I even hear the front desk man patiently explain to a lady over the phone where to find the size of the tires on her car. -Spoiler: It's stamped into the side of the tire!)If you live near Venice and need service done to your car, you NEED to check out Pep Boys. You won't be disappointed.

With almost every tire place in town seemingly booked up I was very pleasantly surprised that this location was not busy at all, I had booked my appointment online and there were many time slots available. I was quoted a timeframe of one to one and a half hours for an oil change and new tire install and they were spot on with that estimate. Nice lounge to wait in and all the staff was friendly and knowledgeable.

I went in asking for a new tire due to losing pressure, but they suggested I patch it instead! That's integrity right there; I really appreciate their honesty in recommending a less expensive option! Also, the staff is kind and they did a great job patching the tire, changing our oil, and replacing filters that were badly overdue. Thank you Pep Boys! We will be back!

I walked in and was greeted by Kenny. I needed my oil changed and they got me right in and the price was only 69.99 not including the taxes or shop supplies. I understand this doesn't always happen, but it really helped me as I had alot of other things to do. The building is new, so it's very clean. The waiting room is very modern and spacious and I was out in under 40 minutes. Great job Kenny

Venice FL location has excellent customer service, product, and fair prices. George the manager goes out of his way to explain all options and let s you make the decision. Highly recommend!

I had around $4,000 worth of major repairs completed at this location over the last few months. Adam did a great job handling everything for me. Some issues came up due to some repairs they completed, and Adam always made sure these were rectified and the repairs were made right.

2 months agoHad a 9am appointment, showed up and Kenny G says his alignment technician never showed up for work and he was unable to service my vehicle. I noticed there was a car on the alignment rack having an alignment done on it. I was clearly lied to because he was probably over booked with appointments. Terrible experience at the Venice, Florida Pep boys!!! Very dishonest place!
