The mechanic I had been using was not returning calls or emails and my A/C was out. I do search and rescue with my two K9s and it is getting hot! JSN had an appointment for me within 24 hours and only had to keep my car for one night. Friendly, quick, honest and reasonably priced. I will be back in a couple weeks to fix what a couple things they found during their evaluation of the car.Here are my happy guys with their car.

How often is it that your bill is less than the original quote?( when you pick up your car) Never, right? Well there's always a first.... I was quoted an hour for diagnostic, and then the fee to repair the actual complaint. When we picked it up, they adjusted the diagnostic fee to my favor, because the problem was found pretty quickly. I brought the car here, because they came highly recommended to me by several people. I'm happy to share my satisfaction and happiness, as well.

Came with a nail on my tire and they were busy, but they took me in and did a better job than what I was expecting. An internal patch rather than a plug! Much more work for the mechanic but a safer and permanent option! Thank you JSN! You got a new client!

Wow, the team was so efficient and quick. The team was respectful of my truck and took very good care of it. They were able to get the work done earlier than expected. They were very honest with what needed to be done and did not try to upsell me. They texted and called about pick up. I highly recommend their services. Most auto places over charge and upsell every single service. JSN was very honest and modest with pricing and straight forward with services. I loved that I could drop my car off the night before too! This place is great for a busy person! I truly appreciate their time and assistance. Thank you!

We were in Venice, visiting family for a few days. We noticed a tire with a slow leak the day before our long drive home. JSN took care of us very quickly, finding and fixing the leak for a very reasonable price. The team was great to deal with too. Highly recommend.

Just needed an oil change. JSN got me in quickly and service was completed in timely manner for better price than a dealer. Pleasant staff who also checks my mom s car tire pressure monthly.

I had purchased new tires and wanted to get a wheel alignment. JSN (formerly Pit Stop) was recommended in various social media posts.I found their website, they offered online scheduling so with a couple clicks I was booked.The shop knew I was coming and ready for my arrival and alignment.During the alignment I was told I had a crack in the knuckle section of my steering system on the drivers side (pictures attached). In my opinion they went beyond just the alignment and actually inspected everything.

My starter was acting up, and I was worried it would leave me stranded. JSN gave me a fair price, but they couldn't look at it for two days. I didn't want to drive it, so I asked if I could leave it and they'd call me when it was done. They said sure, and if they had any cancellations, they'd work on it sooner. They called later that day and said they could get it done, but they closed at 6. They were willing to wait if I could get there in a reasonable time. That was some seriously awesome customer service!

I purchased two tires for my RV. I should up thinking I would be dropping of the wheel set and picking them up the next day but the team had the tires in stock and were willing to get me in and out in under 30 mins. The experience was great. The front office and waiting area is clean. Easy in and out on a main road. The team was very knowledgeable.Service: Tires

We've had our vehicles for repair or general maintenance several times at JSN Auto Repair. Each time the vehicles were worked on in a timely fashion and never had an issue after the work was completed. We'd recommend them to others.

I brought my F-150 in for an oil change. I appreciated them getting me in quickly without an appointment, however, I was there for over two hours for a standard oil change. Before they gave my car back they came to me with an estimate for over $1,600 for suggested repairs. The estimate included a variety of repairs one being a new battery. I questioned the problem with the battery and they said it tested low - or some other verbiage related to needing a new battery. Later that day I went to a local auto parts store, they tested my battery, and the shop attended said my battery tested good and I don't need to replace it. I also noticed an oil leak in my driveway after my oil change. I called and questioned JSN and they said it was because my turbo's air intake hose is leaking. My truck wasn't leaking oil prior to the oil change.Update 11/14/23. Thank you for your response. However, you are mistaken. There was a crack or opening of some kind in my air intake line which goes to my driver side turbo charger - this crack did have sludge which was showed to me but no informed me of an oil leak nor did I witness any sludge leaking on my driveway - but I did notice an oil leak.Afterwards I brought my vehicle to another shop and they informed me my oil pan bolt cracked and that was the reason why I had an oil leak after bringing my truck into JSN.Additionally, starting two days ago, I noticed a griding sound coming from my rear rotors. I inspected my rotors and noticed griding on my rear passenger rotor. Yesterday, I called JSN and asked if they inspected my breaks during my oil change. When I called they said their tech noted 8 MM left on my break pads. This obviously wasn't correct and because they didn't do their job I'm replacing perfectly good rotos.I'm reducing my review from 2 to 1 star. Pit Stop was a good shop but in my opinion they sold out to incompetent people.

I would recommend not allowing theservice technician to walk out to the car to drive it with a cigarette in his hand. Very unprofessional and unpleasant. When I asked him if he was going to get in my car smelling like a cigarette, he rolled his eyes at me. They did send someone else out to drive my car, but it was still quite baffling. I would like to say good things about them but they wanted to charge me another $65 for three windshield wipers. I really need to find another place for an oil change.p

Great service.Not only looked at my car right away they were able to fix it and do some other needed work the same day.I was only down one day..Other places wouldn't even look at it for a day or 2.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP!May I start this by saying I gave then three chances for my continued business as I am a car guy.They installed my rotors on a brake job incorrectly. The rotors are drilled and slotted. Ya, on opposite hubs. I have staggered rims on a Lexus and they put the rear tires on the front also.I am newer to Venice and they did not honor the Saving Sarasota discount as advertised. Manager was rude and stated, well its a Lexus so it will be more expensive.Asked for a quote on shocks and struts.... They were double Import Auto. Go to Import Auto or go talk to Jimmy at Butler Automotive. Both are local honest guys in my humble opinion. Stay away from Pit Stop on the Island. Did a great job with my repair and I could not believe it two day turn around. I was very happy and Tom could not have been nicer! I will be keeping this cat place on my list if anything else goes wrong with my car!

I went in for an oil change. After my car was in there for about 20 minutes the manager came out with a list of items that were wrong with my car and said to me: we are either going to have to keep your car here and repair these items for over $1500.00 or you are going to have to sign a waiver that your car is not safe to drive and we are not responsible if you get into an accident or if your engine seizes due to : 1. Bad tires (tires are not very old and plenty of tread) 2. Bad wiring harness that is known to wear out on these cars (never showed me which wiring harness and still haven't had any issues with anything). 3. Bad oil leak from valve covers. (I explained I topped off the oil a few days ago and spilled oil all over. It has been a week since oil change and the oil level is still where it was since day of oil change).Service: Oil change

The manager, Tim, listened to my concerns about existing cheap overly long aluminum tire stem extensions that result in flat tires. He came up with a great solution for my RV. My neighbors, especially a part time neighbor who owns a tire company up north, was very complimentary of the results. I felt well cared for and confident about long distance travel. I highly recommend JSN.I was so pleased with previous car service that I had Danny improve the steering stabilization system and air suspension to the rear suspension system on my RV. Also, Chad has been wonderful to communicate estimates a advice.Services: Tires, Steering & suspension replacement, Auto maintenance

The online appointment app. worked perfectly. I arrived at 7:30 with my 2015 Lexus and was greeted by Chris who was completely dialed in on the services I requested online. Based on what I had been told by other shops, I was expecting to need brakes all the way around. He called me up to tell me the brakes were OK.. An estimate of services was delivered to my mobile to authorize services before they did the work. When I arrived at the shop to pick up the car after it was finished, he took time to show me how the brake wear was measured and why I did not need them. Shuttle service was provided both ways by very friendly staff. This was extraordinary service and we really appreciated it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

This location in Venice is great. Avoid Sarasota though, as the management there took advantage of my girlfriend on an oil change and charged $160 for a $75 job.

My wife Donna and I are so relived that we found this repair shop. The entire staff has treated us with the most respect that we have every received. We are new to the Venice area and our car started having some issues. We love our 2007 VW EOS.. We want it to last forever. I know that is a bit much to expect, but we see 60 year old cars all the time at all the car shows that we attend. People ask us about our EOS and we love to tell them all about it... Any way if you need car help..This is the place to go. Plain and Simple.
