I agree with the other reviewer a couple days ago regarding the service department at this dealership. While the dealership waiting area is nice, I did not feel appreciated as a new customer coming in to get my car serviced here for the first time. When I came to pick up my car once notified it was ready, there was a discrepancy with the original price I was quoted for the TOTAL cost of all work. After letting them know I was coming to get my car, the rep Mike was not there at pick up and the girl at the service desk was not very nice when I questioned the charges. Then I was handed my key to my car. I went to my car only to find it on the lot not washed and very dirty. When I came in to mention that to her she told me that they are behind and I would have to wait for 20-30 minutes if I wanted my car wash. I was actually offended how she presented that to me. I spoke to the service manager John about my frustration with the customer service at this dealership. He apologized and said they were on a new operating system that made everyone on edge and they were understaffed.Guess they don t want my business that badly. Next

Release the Hounds! We love our new car! Tim and Charles did an excellent job. Tim was easy to work with and helped me get into the exact car that I wanted for the price that I needed. Charles made the financing go fast and was extremely knowledgeable. It was such a happy day. The kids and I celebrated our new car and I felt at ease knowing we got a great deal. Tim is the best. I guess there are still good and honest people out there. Who knew! That happiness went a long long way for my family. This is the place to go!

This was the best auto purchase experience. Tim and all the staff made me feel comfortable. Every step of the process went smoothly and easily. I got the car I wanted at a fair price. I could not believe the paperwork process went fast and was easy to understand. I highly recommend Tim Fisher as a sales rep.

Sam was absolutely amazing! Sense of humor and professionalism, couldn t ask for a better combination in a salesman! We felt like he really went to bat in getting my mom the best deal he could and walked with her through the whole process including pairing her phone before we left! Walked in as a stranger, left as a friend. You want a great car buying experience? Don t go for a salesman, go for someone who has your back and you can trust. Ask for Sam!

I love this place. I traded in my 2012 Santa Fe for the 2023 Santa Fe. I was greeted by Sam who made the whole buying experience easy. He went above and beyond to make sure I was completely satisfied with the purchase. Charles the finance manager also very professional and kind. This was my 2nd purchase from Venice Hyundai. I live in Naples but chose both of my Palisades from Venice Hyundai because they worked hard to find the exact vehicle I wanted. Sam kept me abreast of the status of my new car delivery and went over the new features so I was comfortable with my new car. It was so easy and I was in and out in leads than an hour 1/2. I will certainly contact Venice Hyundai in a few years when I m ready to trade my vehicle in again. I love my new Palisade!

Please do not bring your car here to be serviced. Their prices are way higher than they need to be compared to other Hyundai dealerships. Alignments should be not be costing $250 and Brake Fluid Flush/Exchange should not be $315. For reference other Hyundai dealerships only charge $170 for alignment and $180 for brake fluid flush/exchange. Also recently purchased a new tire with them and asked them to price match the price like it says they will at their online tire store. At first was told by the rep he would give me the same price only if I purchased an additional $1,000 of services. When I told him additionally no I was told to come pick up my car. When I pushed back about how they have advertised about the price matching on tires he did honor the price but only because I pushed back. Please do your research before bringing your car in for service so you don t have to pay hundreds of extra dollars.

I was on a long distance journey from Georgia to Florida when my engine blew. The closest dealer was Hyundai of Venice and so I had the car towed there I was very happy that I did because my representative Chas took some very good care of me and turned a very stressful situation into a happy situation. Because my engine was on recall I was able to get a new engine at no cost. Chas did his best and what was to be a 6 day job was done in 2 days. I was offered a rental car. Thanks to Chas and all the workers that did the work on my car

I was very happy with my experience buying a used Santa Fe at Hyundai of Venice. I looked at cars online for weeks before deciding on my vehicle. Sam helped me with the test drive and answered all of my questions. He did not pressure me at all to get into a new car like I experienced at another dealership. Charles in the finance department was also patient with my questions. I feel like I got a great deal on my (new to me) SUV and I m so happy! Thank you Sam and Charles!

It's true-Sam is the model all car salespeople should be. He's courteous, knowledgeable, and respectful of your time. The dealership has the dreaded "add on's" to their advertised prices, but that's not Sams fault. He does disclose them fairly early in the buying process. I'm old and still can't get used to the "add on" games dealerships play. Hopefully some class action lawsuits will end the practice in my lifetime.

This place exceeded my expectations today!! I went in with a trade in and came out with more than I expected. Sam Dominguez is the best. He is very professional and was able to answer all my questions and he is also very knowledgeable about their vehicles.I loved the fact that when I communicated with him about the type of vehicle I was looking for and what my budget is, he listened and was able to show me exactly what I wanted. I also loved that he stayed by my side threw the whole process all the way up to driving off the lot Thank you so much! I will definitely be referring customers your way.

I just had the most amazing 5 star plus experience at Hyundai of Venice working with the best salesman EVER Sam Dominguez!! He helped me with purchasing a brand new Hyundai Tuscon and he couldn t have done a better job! He never ONCE made me feel pressured or rushed! Three days after test driving the car, I was finally ready to make the deal, and I called him to say Let s do it (he DID NOT call and harass me once!) and his first words were, What are you doing now? Do you want to come and get your car? !! We did a lot of the paperwork and discussion over the phone which was super convenient, but I never expected to be able to pick up the car immediately. I had the car less than 24 hours and heard from Sam twice making sure everything was what I expected and made sure I understood that if I ever have any questions or concerns to not hesitate to call him. Very good man! Even Phyllis, the receptionist, leaned over while I was filling out some paperwork and said, He s the best! In addition to Sam, Charles was another great guy who I did the finance paperwork with. Both Sam and Charles are down to earth, sweet men! Love Love Love Hyundai of Venice!! Thank you so much, Sam!!

So yes they do decent work, but I don t know they actually do everything they say they will. 15k service and they did not change cabin filter (listed that they should), and my last oil change was just that, no top off of coolant or anything else. I guess dealerships just don t provide the service they once did. Sad really as the automotive world is shifting to cars with closed loop systems that cannot be serviced, they need to soak you for every penny they can while they still can.

I am very pleased with my Hyundai salesperson, David. I would highly recommend that you ask for David specifically to show you a floor model vehicle as well as all the features that come with your Hyundai. Educate yourself about additional warranties that could come with your vehicle for peace of mind. David will educate you and I believe you can trust him through the whole process.

I bought the extended warranty they recommended. The warranty company doesn't actually answer their phone. Apparently the warranty can only be used at the dealership. If only it didn't take 3 appts and 6 hours of waiting to accomplish minor repairs. Their technician couldn't figure out my taillight issue. Turns out they put the bulb in wrong. I don't have enough free time to play them. I've been driving around for a year with the check engine light on. Only the dealer can get a refund but they wouldn't refund my money. Won't waste my money on a Hyundai again.

Bought a new Ioniq 5 2023 last December. Love the car, sales process was fine, but dealer reneged on promised Level 2 charger and $600 install credit. 'vouchers' were supposed to arrive 3 weeks after purchase. After that time i called hyundai america and learned that I needed to finance through Hyundai to qualify. Supposedly the sales rep didn't know. The sales rep said it was included. Surprised that absolutely nothing was done to make it right. All the other promotions, Bluelink subscription and Electrify America worked out fine. Sad that they didn't stand by their word on the charger.

Our 2013 Hyundai Sonata had engine failure while driving. We had completed all of the recalls and always changed the oil/took care of the car. We had a feeling it might be the recalled engine issue that impacted some of the 2013 Sonata models. We had our car towed to Hyundai of Venice. My husband met with Amber Rodgers to go over the problems we were having. She was very helpful. She kept her word and contacted us within 24 hours of the car being dropped off. She let us know that the tech had discovered that the engine was indeed seized. We had to submit some service paperwork, they took photos of the valve train and Amber had a new factory engine approved for us under warranty within 3 days! It took only 2 weeks for the service to be completed! We had an a/c issue around 4 months ago and took our car to Hyundai in Punta Gorda (NEVER AGAIN) we will definitely ONLY go to Venice Hyundai. Amber was a great service advisor. Excellent communication skills and constantly kept us updated via email. Customer service is key and Amber excelled in that. Thanks so very much!!

I ve been looking for a car for about 3 weeks now, and I came across one on their website. I honestly thought it was another dealership that will try to rip me off (I went to too many by that time and I ve had the worst experience with salesmen, LITERALLY) then I talked to Mitch, and OMG! He s super professional, honest, and gets what I m going through. He is the best! I finally drove my new car home. People in this dealership are highly professionals and friendly. A great environment. I highly recommend them.

Will charge bogus fees. Car listed at $23,968 over $3,500 in bogus fees ($1,495 reconditioning cost which is really just wash and vacuum) not including taxes. A $24k car becomes a $29k car. Shameful.

Awesome experience. Truly surprised at how pleasant and quick my purchase was, along with a great rebate and military discount I wasn't expecting. Finance folks are not pushy and since we were hungry upon departing with our new car they recommended a great place to eat. We did try the British Open Pub as suggested and their food was awesome too!

I got a lemon, it's now 6 months later, details at the end.Expect the worst, hope for the best and accept being outplayed, outgunned, manipulated and pressured in ways you seldom experience. expect loads of useful information laced with misrepresentation and half-or-not truths, expect to learn new terms and English words that mean profit but sounds like service or good-for-you and must-haves, but it's not, expect a smiley friendly salesman to get personal and become your best friend till you sign and pay and expect to pay through the nose, or, your other end. My only advice is don't be desperate, practice the let-me-think-about-it defense, they are trained blood hounds and they will go after your flash and your cash and they bite hard, there are plenty of cars in the USA and the factories keep making more and more and more. Nothing personal, the sales and finance staff here do their job which is to make money and I can't fault them for it, they also do their best to earn and retain the infamous reputation car salesmen, throughout history, worked so hard for.I initially gave this dealer 2 stars since I liked the car but it turned out it's a lemon and the dealer service dept is even more sour, I had to bring back the car 7 times and each time I was told the issue was fixed but Guess what, it wasn't and the service tech didn't bother to take it for a ride and test it. I could have fought them and try to lemon-ized my way to a refund but after reading the law I realized I already lost and decided to cut my losses and trade this donkey cart. The moral of the story is don't believe the hype and don't buy first generation anything unless your uncle is a billionaire with a B.

We bought my wife's new car- brand new Santa Fe at the end of last year at Hyundai Venice.Carl was very professional, polite, informative, patient and helpful and with his manager gave us not only a great deal on a car but also fantastic experience.We will strictly recommend them to family and friends and be back when time for me to get a new car.Thank you once again guys!!!
