We had issues with the alternator the afternoon before we were supposed to drive to New Jersey. They were able to fix the car for us that day. We were very pleased and had no problems.

Diagnosed the problem quickly. Although they didn't have an available appointment for over a week, they squeezed my car in, in between other jobs and was able to get it back to me before I expected it. Great people work with!

The BEST shop in Venice! Colby does amazing work and is an awesome guy. He tackled the complex and super difficult A/C repair in my old Volvo and got my car back to me within the time I needed it. I knew it was going to be a challenging job, but I'm so happy with the result and the price was better than reasonable. I can't say enough good things about Colby and all the guys at Gibson's, they rock!

Gibson's was very honest and upfront with my car situation. They even went above and beyond and got the faulty part replaced that was installed a couple months ago (by another mechanic) to cover the cost for the replacement part...(without even bothering me with having to go through that headache). They do not do any UPSELLING. All I paid was labor charges, which was reasonable. I highly recommend them and feel blessed to FINALLY find an honest, efficient car mechanic shop after 14 years of searching here in Venice. Thank you, Colby and staff! Keep up the great work!

This is the 3rd place I brought my car trying to fix the same issue. The first two failed, Gibson s Auto Repair not only fixed the issue, but did it for less $$$ than the first two!I highly recommend this shop for all your auto repair needs. They are extremely knowledgable, hard working, and stand by their word. Simply the best!

An honest mechanic? It s not an oxymoron at this shop. If it s needed it gets fixed properly, if it s not they don t pad the bill with unnecessary items. Very glad I found this place.

I just want to say "Thank you!" to the Gibson's. They helped me out with my car, when no one else would.My husband is active duty military and is currently deployed. My car ended up being totalled by insurance due to the cosmetic damages. We chose to keep the car until my husband returns from deployment and then buy a car. When we received my car back from the body shop, the bumper was falling off. They broke off the pieces that secure the bumper. I asked them if they could drill holes and screw it in to secure it, but they refused and instead gave me a $450 estimate to replace the bumper. I tried other auto places and body shops, but they all refused to help me and instead wanted $400+ to replace the bumper. We didn't want to pay that much on a totalled car when we are buying a new car as soon as my husband returns from deployment.My temporary solution was to secure it with duct tape. But in the hot Florida heat, it was melting every single day.I tried Gibson's Auto Care since I heard so many good reviews about them. They asked me to bring it in the very next day so Colby could take a look at it and see if he could help. Thankfully, he was able to come up with a solution and drill holes that secured my bumper. No more duct tape, and no more worrying about my bumper falling off!It's quite clear to me that Gibson's Auto Care actually cares about what wants customer rather than making $400+ on a bumper replacement. Thank you again, Ashley and Colby!

I definitely recommend Colby!! He was a very nice guy. I couldn t get my window to roll up and he was able to figure it out within 5 minutes of being there. If I have anymore car troubles I will be back to him!!

My A/C was blowing warm air so I took it to Gibson s. Now it s so cool that I just put on the first setting (1) on any hot day. I guess it just needed Freon! Colby fixedthe problem and didn t over charge! Colby fixed my car in a timely manner. The cost was at the the very low end of average repair cost. He didn't try to upsell, just straight forward and professional. Trustworthy family owned small business. And now I have found an auto repair shop that I can trust. I highly recommend Gibson's auto.

Excellent place for car repairs. Owner is very nice and helpful. I do my oil changes there and recently needed a battery and it was installed in 30 to 45 minutes.I would recommend him highly.

Great service and fair price. I only had a small job and yet they were kind enough to send me a thank you note and refridgerator magnet, a small gesture to some but huge for us! Colby started out by saying -'' i think it's the clutch linkage,bushings, (and kept going)'' but finished the sentence with "we can work with you because it's going to be a big job". They beat my previous mechanic by $200 (without knowing that I had already had another mechanic look at it). Honest people. Reasonable and fair prices.

We were visiting from out of town for the week of July 4th and our a/c went out. They were super friendly, able to diagnose and repair our car so we had a/c on the way home. They are a certified Napa auto repair facility so the parts are covered by my local repair service if there are any issues.

Was in Florida for Christmas visiting my wife's family and was in a car accident the day before we left and hit in the rear and slid and hit the lady in front of us my wife loves her car more then me lol my wife and I my step son and my in laws where in her buick enclave everyone was so the car was damaged not totaled so tried to make an appointment with buick so many steps just to make an appointment my in laws take there car to Gibsons garage which is up the road from there house they are always telling us Colby is great drove it up the road Colby put it up on the lift checked it over and says you guys will be fine driving back to nc such a great guy i recommend this place 100 percent x 2 to people thanks Colby you put my new wife at ease for our ride home
