This place is top notch, Dave is an amazing guy. Extremely knowledgeable and fair. Had him replace 4 valve stems and balance 4 loose wheels 60$ can you believe it!!! The dealership wanted 150$ for the same work. I m almost positive I saved my self money and what could have been a huge headache going through a stealership.

Best car repair experience ever. From stellar customer service, to easy communication, and legitimate trustworthiness, Dave is an absolute gem. I drive 2+ hours just to have my car serviced at his garage. As long as I live in the state of Florida, I won't go anywhere else besides Dave's Garage.

Best auto mechanic & owner She is very honest. does the exact work to make your car work again.. he even shows you the part that s damaged. He fixes your car at affordable rates. Dave is very professional

Very knowledgeable, will explain the issue to the most detail level, fair price, took the vehicle right in at the scheduled time, super clean shop, and by far the coolest waiting room on the planet. Bring your vehicle to Dave every time, you won't be disappointed.

I called today and Dave couldn t have been nicer! I needed help with an oil change and he walked me through the whole process and even called someone else to verify what he was saying. Great guy, and highly recommend!

Had a screw in my tire and stopped here on a late Friday afternoon because of all the good reviews. I have to agree with everything good said here. Dave was honest and explained the process to me. Treated me and other customers with a great deal of respect. He took no shortcuts and it was easy to see the pride he takes in his work and the passion he has for it. I m glad I found a auto mechanic in Venice who I believe I can trust to be fair and honest.

I brought my Ford Escape to Dave's Garage today with a fuel line problem. However, due to the restricted access to system error codes by Ford, he was unable to diagnose the problem so I will have to take it to Englewood to a Ford dealership for service. Dave didn't charge me for his time and effort and was sincerely sympathetic to my situation. I will ABSOLUTELY use this honest and reputable local garage for any service or repair I may need in the future. Thank you Dave for your excellent customer service.

Dave helped me and my friend 27 minutes after closing time. To put on 4 tires on brand new rims. He could've just pushed me away since he was already closed. But he did a awesome job. Thank you Dave.

I will never take my cars anywhere else after I found and used Dave's Garage. Dave is upfront, honest, and will never oversell you on what your vehicle needs, plus he is a great auto mechanic! Repair & maintenance charges are most reasonable. You will also likely learn something more about your car and its care from Dave.

Dave and his mechanics are very honest and competent. They worked on my truck and gave me a few options on the repairs. Letting me pick the choice that made the most sense to me. Dave mentioned he worked a a local GM dealership and had may master mechanic certifications. I'll take my vehicles back in the future.

We have found our repair shop. We had a problem with our truck and went to a few places . We didn't get any answers or help at any of them. We looked Dave's Garage up and decided to give them a try. I was in Venice last week for a quick trip to my condo. My solara was making a strange sound in the rear end. I called Dave and told him my problem. That was at 10:00 in the morning. Dave said bring it by and he would take a look. Turns out I had a rear bearing going out. At 1:00 he called me and said the car was fixed and ready to be picked up. If you want an honest diagnosis and quality repair I would go there. Thanks Dave!

New to the Venice area and needed a bunch of work. I had heard bad things about a number of mechanics in this area so I just started calling them all until I spoke with Dave (9th garage called). From the first call he explained in detail what he thought about all four of my issues and the corrective measures needed to resolve them (with estimated prices). I instantly felt comfortable as all the other garages tossed prices at me and wanted me to get in there sooner then later. Needless to say Dave and his experienced staff took care of my entire vehicle. I can honestly say that I will continue to use Dave's Garage and now so will the rest of my family members here along with anone that asks if I know a good mechanic. I get reviews can be taken with a grain of salt but if you do have a mechanical issue just give them a call and I believe you will see what I am talking about. I hope this helps!!

I was in town on a trip from Canada and AC wasn't blowing cold. Stopped in and Dave assessed the situation, explained everything clearly and gave me an estimate. I had the work done right away as he squeezed me in while I was there. Excellent service and the price was fair.
