Rust on brand new 2024 vehicles. The woman that called me told me it wasn't rust, a blatant lie. Next time we saw her she rudely shoved papers at me that said some rust was acceptable and an entire pamphlet about the acceptable amounts of rust on a brand new vehicle. GMC said they had a way to take off the surface rust if that was all it was, and took the vehicle for a week. More miles were put on the new going back and forth on the 2024 GMC 2500 Denali, but not one ounce of 'surface' rust was removed. Nothing looked touched. They then said they were going to have an expert look at it and see if the rust is within acceptable ranges. We are astounded that any rust on a brand new vehicle with 6 miles on it when we got it, is called acceptable. And one of the components underneath the truck clearly has bubbles in the rust and is far more than 'surface' rust.Another week has now passed and and no one has gotten a hold of us. The image with the green highlighter is from Carroll GMC.I would suggest looking carefully at any GM vehicle for the future and don't purchase until you know it is rust free. I always purchased a different brand and Never once did any of those vehicles come with rust or corrosion, nor did they rust or corrode even owning them up to 9 years.I had plans on paying off the truck in 3 years and purchasing their crossover vehicle for our daily driver. But not now.The images show what rust was on the vehicle with 6 miles on the truck. This is what GM and Carroll Buick GMC classify as being acceptable.

Parts and service seemed interested in helping me but after about 5 trips and over $1000 I finally got simple issue of rear driver side weather stripping replaced. The customer service was poor in the end and they started replacing things that did not need to be, and saying my car was wrecked and repainted some time in the past, which is not true. I was ripped off/ overcharged and taken advantage of. On one of the many trips, I found food wrappers in my car. They don t take care of your vehicle when servicing. them with anything now. Would not recommend. Don t trust them with anything.

We recently traded in our vehicle for a used car advertised online.Our experience with the dealership was excellent. Our salesperson Debby was great and helped us very well through out the process. We would definitely trade in a vehicle with this dealership again!

Found this beauty at Starling GMC. I had a great experience working with Steven for this purchase. Very professional, no hassle, questions answered and very attentive throughout the process. What I liked most was the fact that he paid attention to me and delivered with meeting my needs to get this deal done. I traveled just shy of 400 miles with 4 total vehicles to look at, all were the same year make and model. I m glad that I chose to visit Starling first. I just wanted to take a minute to write a review on the experience that i had with this dealership. I called to look at a specific vehicle that they had on the lot, i made it very clear that i would not be purchasing a vehicle when i went in and that i did not want to end up in a high pressure situation. To make a long story short i showed up everyone was very welcoming to me and my two young children. I was placed with a very nice gentleman named Tom, although he knew he would not be getting a sale from me on this day he still took all of the time i need to look at the vehicle, go over all of the features, answer every single question i asked him and he was so sweet and kind with my children which meant a lot! He took the time to give me all of the information that i needed so when it is time to buy a new car i had all of the info i needed! I definitely would recommend bringing your business to this dealership, it felt like they take being a family dealership to heart and you can feel that being expressed through all of their employees! Thank you Tom! And everyone at Carroll you were wonderful!

We were very pleased they got us in as soon as they did. Our only problem was that we waited to receive the call that the part was in. We had to call them and talk to the parts dept at 2:30 only to be told that it was in and then how soon we could get it installed. Right away was nice to hear since they knew we were leaving town the next morning. Communication between parts and service was our only complaint. Thanks for getting us on the road today.

I have been on the phone and in person with many dealers in Miami, Broward and palm beaches and I have to say this one was the best I ve been too and spoken on the phone with. They were honest from the start and till the end. No hidden fee s, no hidden games, no bait and switch, no questioning your decisions, none of that heavy pressure other dealers put on you. Only the best and positive experiences here. They made me feel very comfortable and I felt very safe making this purchase. I drove 3 hours from Homestead and it was totally worth it! I would do it over and over again for the service, attention and honesty Erik, Shelby and Rae have given me. They were very helpful, knowledgeable, professional, and found me the right truck and payment I needed. The most important part They worked with me, not against me , I left here feeling great about my decision. We will be back for my girlfriend to pick her up a new car and mother too. I had a 9:15am appointment for an oil change, at 11:30 my car was still in the parking lot waiting to be serviced. I went to the service desk to see what was taking so long, the service person stated your car should be done in about15 minutes, it is almost done. I told her no it is still in the parking lot with another car in front of it, she indicated that there are two identical vehicles, I said ok, but mine is still in the parking lot. She then went onto the service department and came back and said that they are now pulling it into the stall and that it should be about 15-20 minutes. it was 12:30 before my car was done, that is ridiculous to have to wait 3 hours for an oil change, why make appointments if you are not going to be able to work on the vehicle at that time. Maybe don't schedule so many cars at the same time. The waiting room had no coffee to drink and the vending machines were not working. If I didn't have a free oil change on my maintenance program, I would not go back here to get my car serviced.

I had been eyeing a jeep wrangler parked out front for a few weeks. I came in and worked with Adam. He was honest, straight forward and super helpful. We had our kids with us, and he was very accommodating to that. He even put something on for the kids to watch while we went through the process. We loved working with him! Darlene in finance was also great. She was friendly, knowledgeable and got me a great deal! This is the best car buying experience I ve had. I will recommend this place to everyone. Thank you again

The service was good, the process is horrible! Twice now we set up an appointment online for an oil change and tire rotation. Each time, my wife got there 10 to 15 minutes before the scheduled time, the first time my wife sat there for two and a half hours! The appointment was for 10am, but it didn t even get in till almost 11:30. The second time the appointment was at 11am my wife did not leave until 1:30. Again, the service was good, once we got it. My suggestion is to not have an online appointment process if it really isn t the time you are going to get in or near the time. Twice now we missed other appointments due to a simple oil change and rotation taking much longer than expected. We scheduled those times to fit into our schedule.

Eric was very polite and gracious in explaining the delays due to two new cracked replacement taillights. They waived the labor cost due to the fact that I had to come back twice. If anyone is looking for a Buick or GMC, I highly recommend the Carroll dealership.

Kim our service advisor was awesome. We are traveling from Wisconsin and had an issue with our front collision avoidance so our cruise control didn t work on our 2023 Yukon Ultimate Denali. We called and she said no problem bring it in and we will take a look at it. She had us fixed and on our way in a hour. Prior to calling this dealership we had called the GM dealership in Sarasota where we were and they didn t care that we were traveling told us they couldn t get us in for over a week. Lady on phone was very rude. Kim and the people at Carroll made us feel at home. Thank you!

I'm new to GMC after many years with Lexus and Honda. My first service advisor for routine maintenance didn't follow through with my warranty request. The second advisor I dealt with for a repair was had great customer service, but ultimately didn't call back either, and has been out of the office since my last phone call to him. The repair to my vehicle failed, so now I'm dealing with a third advisor. The advisors seem overwhelmed, and although they've been friendly, the follow through is lacking.

Brought my truck in for possible collapsed lifters due to the engine running terribly and it misfiring. After an hour they had told me that nothing is wrong with the truck and that it is running fine. I understand not wanting to sell customers services that they don t need but what s worse is not noticing that there is a huge problem with the engine. Either bad techs or just too busy and not wanting to work on it. Also they had no loaner cars because all the engines were blown up and they were working on them. Brought it over to Sunset Cadillac in Venice and they knew the problem right away and got my warranty to cover it, also put me in a loaner. They tore the motor down and saw cylinder 5 had a collapsed lifter and it was good I brought it in then because they would ve had to change the camshaft if I had kept driving it. Carroll Buick GMC almost caused a 14 hour job to turn into a engine replacement. DO NOT RECOMMEND with the exception for doing oil changes and very basic Walmart auto care level work.

In my search for truck, Ram was my first choice, GMC was my second. Upon entering Carroll GMC, there was a good inventory and with the end of year pricing, I decided to take one for a test drive.I did not purchase right away, in fact, I left the dealership and went to the Dodge Ram dealership 2 miles away. Although they had a good selection, all of their 2023 inventory was depleted and they were not offering specials. I also test drove one and quickly concluded that the GMC Sierra 1500 was for me.I returned to Carroll GMC and once again worked with Angel Lopez. He was patient, accommodating, and very professional.He, and the rest of the Carroll team made my truck purchase enjoyable. My wife will be in the market at the end of 2024 and we will be considering a GMC Arcadia.If Angel Lopez is still part of the team, he will certainly be our agent of choice.

One of the best car buying experiences I ve had. Shelby & Annalise the Internet sales team where fantastic. When I got to the dealership there were no surprises. Everything was as we agreed.Stewart the salesman at the dealership also fantastic. Even with the long test driver I took him on. We had a great conversation. I came in knowing what I wanted and that I wanted it done quick. We were in and out in under 3 hours. Sales rep listened and accomplished what I asked for. Finance manager was knowledgeable and fast and didn't push extra items after I said I wouldn't be interested in any add ons!! All in all it was a great experience!!

Scam artists. Found a car for my daughter with an attractive internet price. Called ahead to say I m coming to test drive it. I get there, they can t find the car. When they find it, it s dirty inside and out. Test drive it anyway and then start talking numbers. Get told by sales guy about a $2k reconditioning fee . And another $1k documentation fee . Then the manager, Charlie, comes over and, when asked about the extra fees, states this is a certified used car, if you want it to be a certified used car the $2k is for the paperwork to do that. I ve been buying cars for 40 years and couldn t believe this nonsense and bold-face lying. I wouldn t buy a care from these guys if it listed for 6 bucks. You ve been warned.

Update: February 27, 2024....I still have not heard back from this dealership!! Over a month & now the warranty has expired.... and the auto-stop still not functioning!! I need that magic tech, Jan Dospel to teach me how to properly stop this Buick.** I came in for my annual oil change and asked to also fix auto stop as it hasn't worked at all, in over 6 months. This was after the girl told me there is no button to turn it off like in my husband's car.... which is what I just figured I did somewhere along the way, unknowingly.Well, after 3 hours of waiting.....Supposidly, tech "checked batteries and said it's working fine!" Also claims to have taken it for a test drive and it was working properly! That is an outright lie.I asked to talk to someone in charge. No one available. I asked to take another test ride so I could see it work, "no one available" Girl at service desk (kim, I believe), says maybe I don't brake properly. Or I don't stop long enough....really??!! I'm not that stupid! Red lights aren't long enough. !! LOLI left and drove all the way home to North Port, stopping MANY, MANY TIMES and the system did not work one time!! Not even at the end of the dealership's driveway on to Rt 41, where I sat...STOPPED....for quite a bit till I could make a left to head home...My husband called the dealership when I arrived home and told him of issue. He wanted to speak to someone in management and was told no one was in today. He left messages and still to date, two weeks later, NO RETURN CALL.I was told it was most likely because my 3 year warranty expired in about a week and they didn't want to accept responsibility. SADNevertheless, I will not be asking my sales person, Adam Rutherford to see the sand colored Yukon on the lot...Fb posts coming too!

Maria has been most helpful in getting our estimate and arranging the repair with Allstate Insurance. She was also helpful in contacting Enterprise to come and pick us up. We were always informed of the progress and status of our repair. Our repair was done very well by your dealership.

Thank you Carroll Buick GMC for your great staff who made my buying a new GMC AT4 experience wonderful from the first phone call, spoke with Annelise initially, for I live in Tampa, located the vehicle on the internet. Annelise followed up to ensure I had the vehicle secure to travel to Venice from Tampa for the purchase, and already had the cost broken down on my phone, very helpful. And, then not knowing what to expect when I arrived at the dealership, thinking like some others, not the best thoughts, after all, who enjoys purchasing a vehicle, lol. But once meeting Stuart who handled the deal, made the transaction so smooth, low pressure, very kind and fun to work with, especially so helpful delivering the vehicle, great guy, very experienced, noticeable. Then, meeting and working with Finance manager, Ray, she was so helpful ensuring I had the right warranty purchased for my needs and driving habits, wish you guys had a dealership in the Tampa Bay area, but was worth the drive with my son taking me down there to pick up this amazing GMC Acadia AT4, love the safety features.
