As a single woman I have had a hard time finding a good auto repair shop. Matt is top notch and very honest and fair. If you have a problem? Bring to Best Friends and know you will get an honest deal and a great price from honest people. keep up the good work and thank you again.

Top notch service and technicians. They have taken care of both of our vehicles for years and always have done an outstanding job. We have complete trust in Matt and his crew and that is a great feeling to have. Prices very reasonable and communication is excellent. Best shop in the area by far.

Do not recommend. Had the guys install a new starter in my vehicle in March 2023. About 5 months later the car started showing signs similar to the orginal ones i went to the shop to begin with. I was moving to Richmond, VA so I went back because I trusted their work from March 2023. I mentioned my car issues had returned and maybe it was the starter they installed. The mechanics assured me it was the battery and also scheduled me for a trip inspection. They installed a new battery and did work on the car for my trip. Well, the starter issues still persisted and I went back and told the mechanics. They assured me it was now my key fab. It is two months later and my car finally broke down and wouldn't start. I have had my car inspected here in Richmond and it was the starter Best Friends installed!! Not only was it the cheapest one they could find on market, they didn't admit to their poor job the second time I went to them. I trusted their judgment and they came highly recommended. The starter was so burnout that the electircal burn smelled up the whole auto shop here in Richmond.Don't waste your time, money or integrity.

Definitely a shop that lives up to its name. I stopped in on a busy afternoon because I had a low tire on my Can-Am, and they happily checked all 3 of my tires right away. Very friendly staff! Thanks guys!

We have been using Best Friends Automotive now for over a year now. I wouldn't want to think about taking my Jeep anywhere else. Have never left without feeling like I recieved the most honest, reputable service. Car care is timely and expensive and the guys at Best Friends provide amazing service at the best price possible. Can't thank them enough for the business they provide in our community.

I've been using Best Friends as my go-to mechanic since I moved to Venice. Very skilled, never attempt to rip you off or get one over on you. Talk you through their diagnostic process before attempting to charge you on anything. I have an older car that needs frequent repairs and they always are fast and skilled. Would recommend these guys 10 out of 10 times.Service: General repairs & maintenance

As I was driving home a driver in another vehicle got my attention to tell me that none if my brake lights was working! When I got home I called Best Friends - even though I had never used them before. Doug was very concerned that I was driving without brake lights and told me to come right over!They took my car right in, determined that the brake switch had gone bad, ordered a new one and installed it - all in less than an hour! And for a reasonable price, with many smiles and friendly conversation.I've never had such a pleasant experience while having work done on my car.Thanks to Doug, the rest of the staff and, of course, Fred!Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Auto engine diagnostic

They try to fix my van with replacing a part which didn't need any replacement, I had to pay $350 and was send away. They checked the van with idling it stationary for 4 hours (cost me $40 on gas). The next day same problem appeared and they couldn't fix it and send me to another garage. It took them 2.5 days to figure that out. Waste of time and money!The only one who has knowledge at Best friends is Fred, but he doesn't speak the language.

This is my second time here and only needed an oil change but if I ever need more work on my car, this is where I will be going. The owners Doug and Matt are always there with a friendly attitude, prices are very fair and if you are waiting for your car you get to walk across the street to walk through town or just sit on a bench at the park. Great location.My favorite part of my visit is Mr Fred the shop cat who is so charming and engaging and so handsome too!I know I found my car repair place.

Yesterday my car broke down 105 degrees out.. me and my ESA (emotional support animal) no one stopped to help.. Then out of nowhere came Doug.. owner of BEST FRIENDS AUTOMOTIVE. He quickly got us to his shop, which was cooler, and began to find out what was wrong! A lot of places would take advantage of the situation but Doug worked hard to locate the real problem and got it fixed!! I can t say enough good things about my experience!If you need a honest, trustworthy, highly experienced repair shop, this is THE place to go!!Thank you again Doug! You guys are the best!! (Also, Fred, the shops mascot, a beautiful orange kitty, was a delight! Will definitely go back to say purrrrrr )

We were visiting from out of state and our rental home owner recommended them to fix the A/C in our van. We couldn't have been happier with the service we received from them. They even stayed late one night to fix it so we would have it back by the next day. Their service was excellent! Doug was great to work with and helped me find the tires perfect for my car before I moved out of state. I usually go to a different shop and thought their prices were too high even though they assured me I wouldn t find a better deal but they were wrong because I paid about half of what they had originally quoted me at Best friends auto motive This is my first time working with this company and I absolutely love them!

Bad diagnosis. My car's issues were never fixed.Brought my car to this shop all the way from Orlando, for several issues mainly overheating. After several months of my car being there & several drives down there they gave me the car w the same issues I sent it there with. The owner actually confessed to not testing the car thoroughly while there. Hence the issues.After I told them that I was going to send the car back to them they broke ties w me for things that were never fixed or properly diagnosed. In a nutshell i paid thousands of dollars for a service I never got.Currently car is still overheating, among several other issues discovered by my current mechanic. Necessitating my having to pay even more money to get it properly fixed.BFA ultimately took zero responsibility for how poor of a job they did on my car. Don't bother taking your car here, they're not as skilled as they claim to be, & proved it by the way they handled my situation. Sad but true.

Brought my car in just this weekend and haven't stopped recommending them to everyone I know since. They were honest, upfront about estimate and had my car fixed within hours! I will never bring my car anywhere else.

These guys are awesome! They pulled and installed a transmission and built a Auburn rear gear differential for my hot rod. They have also done other jobs for my truck. Great mechanics and true gear heads.

Great guys. Diagnosed engine light on which was caused by a weak battery. Didn't charge me. Nice surprise.Fixed horn at a reasonable cost.Highly recommend them

Brought our car there for the first time and we were sure it was the alternator and wow what a nice surprise to hear it was only a lose belt and they took care of it quickly at a reasonable price.
