Needed tires, just happen to stop in on my walk.Kevin was very helpful, found the best price on the size tires that I needed had them on the next day.They were very efficient and did a FREE thorough inspection.The whole staff was exceptional and professional. Will not think twice about taking my vehicle to them again.

The jury is still out regarding my experience with this business. First of all, the team is generally outstanding. Extremely professional and pleasant, and for the most part did a fantastic job of communicating with me. Really appreciated that they provided photos and videos of the problem areas.That said, there were a couple things that bugged me. The tire pressure warning light was one of the things I brought it in for. In the end, the system is working but the light remains on, which means I ll constantly have to check the tire pressure. I wasn t told that they couldn t figure that problem out until I circled back in after picking up the car. The airbag warning light is also on, and I was told it was a manufacturer recall. After checking with Audi, no such recall exists.Also, less than one week after I paid quite a bit of money for extensive repairs to the vehicle, it died on me in a parking lot. You can only imagine my frustration at that point! In the end they were able to figure out that it was a broken dipstick causing a vacuum leak. Since that time, the car has been running very well.In the end, I trust this group and recommend them. It s just that I spent quite a bit of money with them and want to give it some time before I upgrade the review to a 5.

Recently took my 2001 Mercedes to American Import Auto. It's an SLK320 and only has 34,000 miles on it. Obviously it is not driven regularly.Asked them to go over it thoroughly and tell me what needed repaired. In two day I received an email listing 42 things that were in good shape and 9 items that needed repairs. Email also had 10 pages of each item with numerous pictures.Called them and we discussed each and I told them to do the repairs.Repairs done in 7 days. (Some parts needed to be ordered.)Extremely happy with all repairs.I highly recommend them and will continue to be a customer.

1st time I've had my car serviced here. Had a issue with what I thought was the Transmission. They checked it out. Turn out to be intake manifold leak. Repaired it next day. I thought price was very reasonable for the work they had to do. Fair, honest, helpful. I'll be back.

Great experience with this repair shop! Took our Acura RDX in for AC repair and they took the time and effort to fix the no working fan and rechecked. Discovered compressor clutch wasn t working correctly, replicating our issue. Completed job before promised. Surpassed our expectations. Mike and staff did a fantastic job!

I was traveling by myself, couple days before Holiday and my check engine light came on my Lexus SUV. My friend told me to call American Auto in Venice. I called and talked with Mike and he was So kind and helpful! I took the car in and they looked at it that day, helped me get a quick rental car, called me to give me updates and then got my car done so that I could get back on the road. These guys are Amazing and So trustworthy!! Every person at American Auto was so nice, from the mechanic to the manager to the sales manager were SO helpful! The place was very clean and I felt safe there. Easy to find, great location!Highly recommend these guys!!! They know what they are doing, they are honest and trust them with my car!! My car runs so much better now! Thank you for a great experience!!!

Friendly and professional service. I was in for regular maintenance and they fit it perfectly and right on time.Note if you are making an appointment with them online and want to wait for your vehicle while they work on it, tell them at the time of booking that you are waiting there. It will help you and them in timing the work.

5 stars as usual! This is a shop that hears AND listens to the customer. We had a very unusual problem with our Chrysler Crossfire that there aren't many solutions to, and the team at American Import Auto were open to some input and acted on it to get the car fixed in a timely manner. They are just the best group of folks you could work with. We don't have any difficulty entrusting our vehicles to their truly expert care.

I decided to find a shop closer to home. After reading many good reviews I gave them a try. I was very impressed with the service, the attention given and explanation of what else my car needed besides what I came in for. I will trust their opinion in the future of what is needed to keep my car running at peak performance. How refreshing it is to trust the mechanics that keeps an expensive item like your car on the road for years to come. I highly recommend this shop.6 months laterDue for a bigger service this time. Was as happy as the first time. They even brought to my attention that my car battery was reaching the end of its life. Thankfully because I forgot to tell them to check it and advise. I won t be going back to my Honda dealer anymore since I m getting as good, if not better services & pricing. So nice since it s so close to home. Their shuttle service took me home and brought me back hours later, so no waiting around.

I was referred to American Import Auto from another local auto repair group who no longer had a Volvo technician. My 2006 S40 is starting to feel its age and miles 178,000 +. This past year it has been blessed with a new battery, alternator and now a radiator octopus! I have been very pleased with the attention to detail, workmanship, and pleasant gentlemen who work here! I am sure you will be pleased!

One word comes to mind when I decided to post this review - HONEST! My FIAT Spider 124 started having a clunking noise in the front end that appears here and there. So, I decided to take the vehicle to AIA to see if they could replicate and diagnose the issue. The mechanics spent a considerable amount of time trying to duplicate the problem and even went as far as removing some of the parts that could have been the cause of it. However, when they test-drove the vehicle, they got the issue to pop up again. Mike called and told me what they thought it might be, but because of the location, they would have to disassemble the vehicle in that front area to see if that was the actual cause. Of course, disassembling the front end was going to take a few hours, and not knowing after spending that money whether the issue was going to be fixed, put my husband and I in a quandary. Do we spend the money and open up Pandora's box? So, my husband and I asked numerous questions, which both Service Managers, Mike and Wade, seemed to welcome. Each of them made us feel like they cared more about us as potential customers than just another high-dollar sale. In the end, they concluded and recommended bringing back the vehicle once the issue became constant. This way, it would give their mechanics more to go by than what is happening now. The cost of disassembling the car and putting parts on that may have not been needed could have run in the multiple thousands of dollars. We think the plan that they suggested is reasonable and we will definitely be bringing our vehicle back at the appropriate time. So, THANK YOU AIA! You have earned a customer and we will be recommending you to all our friends.Service: Vehicle Inspection

You fixed fuel pump in a very timely manner, for that I would give 5 stars. I was hopeful that you would fix the other problem with the vent on the dash not working but it seemed you wanted to charge me another $170.00 to decide what was wrong with it so rather than pay you twice to figure out the problems with the car I will now take it somewhere else. For your gread, rather customer service I give you one star and will never come back. I am sure you don't care.

Good news today! American Import Auto once again came through, and found and fixed my clutch issue. Just a cable that needed to be tightened, with no extra charges. I ve gotten the best service and help here with my vehicle rather then going to the big dealerships (ford). Also they were very very polite it was the first thing I told my wife when I got home after dropping my explorer off there. They keep you informed with pictures and a detailed report on what s wrong and what will need to be done in the future. My to go maintenance shop!

I finally found a reliable honest mechanic.My vehicle was bought new from the dealer and did not have the level of comfort with them.The jeep had issues since day one and were never properly addressed and kept on reoccurring. American import though pretty large of a business runs like a well oiled machine.,extremely courteous and knowledgeable.I highly recommend them
