I have been here a few times for services starting with smaller jobs to see if this is a mechanic I can trust as I can and frequently do much of my own repairs. This job was too big and complex for me though so I took my van here for some major repairs. The results and communication about the work that needed to be done was outstanding. I feel like my job was not only done well but care was taken along the way to explain what could be and what turned out to be issues that needed to be addressed. I was given an opt-out along the way too. All OEM parts were used and my vehicle is back in the road. I will definitely be back and recommend anyone looking for a trustworthy shop, come here.Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

I highly recommend Robert to anyone who needs a good mechanic. I called around to many mechanics with a specific issue. Robert was the only one who actually explained that one part of my problem could be causing several others. He said just replace this one part first and then if it doesn t correct it we will fix the other items. None of the other mechanics presented that as an option just wanted to fix all the parts at once. Sure enough Robert was correct and saved my family a lot of money. Hands down one of the best shops around. Not only are they friendly, they are honest, clean and knowledgeable. Outside of oils changes, I ve had two cars repaired there and Robert will continue to get our business. Robert's Auto Repair is great! I recently had a problem with my radiator. They took care of the problem quickly, efficiently, and the cost was in line with the repairs. 3 days later, I took my truck back for new tires and some suspension work. Truck drives like brand new again. He even called me to follow up to ask me how I like the suspension!!!! Top notch honest guy. I really appreciated him taking care of me. Roberto has earned my respect and my business!

It's very hard to trust a mechanic but Roberts Auto is always honest, does great work and reasonable costs for repairs. I bring all of my vehicles here and I recommend you do if you are struggling finding a good mechanic.

Earlier this year I had an issue with over if my vehicles and took it to Roberts Auto primarily due to the positive reviews on Google.The quality of service was excellent and the price for service great. As my vehicle is quite a few years old, parts were not readily available. Robert searched and located the proper posts to make sure me vehicle was like newI have used 3 other reissue shops in the address and nice compared to Roberts.

Great family business. Robert explains car issues, is efficient, and has your vehicle ready in no time. He tends to give your vehicle a quick "inspection," and gives a heads-up when work will be needed in the not-so-distant future. He even takes the time to learn your name. Recommend.

AWESOME EXPERIENCE!! Arrived early to appointment was ready for me graciously drove me home just a couple of minutes away. Repaired the vehicle under his estimate. Came back pick me up and was such an informative nice honest guy!! I'm recommending him to my daughter and son-in-law who just recently moved here from New Jersey and I am just visiting to help them out

Originally quoted $250 to retrofit a/c system and replace filter dryer. I was a bit shocked when the bill came to $361. Several various labor charges. Parts were only $48. Job took maybe two hours. I supplied retro fittings and o-rings.UPDATE: I've used the RV (vehicle retrofitted) a few times since this job was done. I noticed the dash air was never blowing cold. Today, I bought a can of freon to see if it helped. Before hooking up the refill hose, I discovered the compressor was completely loose. They didn't even insert the front mounting bolt. Very sloppy!. I inserted a bolt, tightened it down so that the belt was tight. Next, I connected the gauge to find they had put very little freon in the system. With two cans of freon, it charged to full. Now, it blows ice cold. I originally went to this service center because of prior ratings. I found out the hard way they have no business working on A/C systems. Hopefully, my loss will be your gain. If you read this and let them touch your A/C, then you deserve what you get. You've been warned!!

If I've learned anything in life it's that a competent, budget conscious mechanic is next to impossible to find. Well thanks be to heavens we finally found the impossible in Robert's Auto.Out of desperation I Googled a mechanic in our area after our previous mechanic continually was giving us the runaround over fixing our AC. After reading the reviews here we thought we'd give Robert's Auto a shot and I'm so thankful we did. He expressed anger over the fact that a part we were told had been replaced and paid $500 for said replacement was shown to be years old - he took out the old one and showed it to us next to a new once for comparison. He properly replaced the part for less than half what we had previously paid our old mechanic. While we were pretty upset over what our old mechanic had done, our faith in humanity was restored with Roberto's good and honest work.To sum up, if you need a reputable, skilled mechanic that's trustworthy and doesn't charge an arm and a leg then look no further than Robert's Auto.

Robert is a straight shooter and offers fair pricing and quality work he helped me on numerous occasions to check out all the things that were wrong with my vehicle and prioritize the work that needed to be done. He never pressured me to do more work than he thought was necessary. I highly recommend this place.

Robert is so great to work with. My family has brought our Toyota, Nissan and domestic vehicles to Roberts Auto Shop for over six years now. He does not overcharge, does not do unnecessary services and goes over and beyond what he needs to do each time we are using his services. From oil changes, new tires, breaks and more, this is the best place to bring your vehicle. Thank you Robert.

Stopped for repairs while traveling, saw good rating on Google and decided to try Roberts autoshop. Couldn't be happier, Roberto is really nice and had a great rapport with all the customers that were there when we were. The work was thorough and the price was great. He also did an inspection and discovered and fixed a safety issue for cost of part only (no labor charge for the extra issue), it was a bad wheel bearing. When he mentioned it I immediately realized i had been hearing it. So gratefull he found and fixed it before we had it fail. Wish he was local for us, I would definitely go back for more work.

Was very prompt, my car nearly broke down and barely made it there. Giving us fair prices and a very quick repair, I was very satisfied. Another thing I really liked was the fact he showed us the old parts that he replaced and was very thorough on the diagnostic. When it comes to prices, compared to a dealership or a mass repair shop the prices were very fair and Robert was very kind and friendly. If you're ever in the Tampa/Valrico area and are having a problem car wise, pay Robert's Auto Shop a visit.

Came in with a squea in my front end.. Robert described to me I needed new brakes and rotors and also found that I was missing a spacer in my CV Axles due to another mechanic not being thorough. They got me in and out for breaks and my rotors in under 2 hours. This included Robert riding with me in my truck several times to make sure the job was done correctly. Excellent service and honesty. Highly recommended.

My experience of interaction with Roberts Auto Shop and Tires was quick, concise, honest and collected. I met the owner on a walk-in basis, quickly discussed with him that I was looking for new tires on my Scion tC. I've got 16'' rims, so decent tires are a bit difficult to come by. After a quick call, I was quoted and asked if I wanted it done that day, or the day next. I walked away a smiling, happy customer. I will return to Roberts!

I called about my a/c that the dealership said was blown. Another place told me they didn't work on VW's at all. Robert's Auto Shop said bring it in and within 24 hours he called to say it wasn't as bad as we were told and it was no problem fixing it. Picked it up and the price was so reasonable. I recommend them highly.

My car was overheating so much that I couldn't take it to my "regular" mechanic that was 10 miles away. I brought it into Robert's because they were recommended by a friend and just up the street.. The service was quicker than expected and at a lower price! I've now found a new mechanic! Thank you!

I had a fuel line leak and I was calling around the night before. He had to lowest quote so I brought it in in the morning. He put it up on the lift right away saw the problem and completed it by midday and beat his competitors price by half. He is fast, friendly, honest, and will keep you informed throughout the process. When I have more car trouble i'll differently take it back to his shop.

Robert is awesome. Most knowledgeable mechanic. Always gives it to you straight and charges fair prices. Still does many things like short notice diagnostics for free because he is just that way. Loyal following.
