I took my Muncie M20 to Astro for a rebuild and they absolutely knocked it out of the park! Bill in the office is a very nice gentleman and was super helpful throughout the whole process. Tony did fantastic work with my transmission and is very knowledgable. He was able to explain to me what they did in a clear and understandable way. Fast turnaround and very fair pricing too. I would 10/10 recommend Astro to anybody.

Dropped of my t56 from my gto to get rebuilt they were fast friendly and knowledgeable and great on price 10/10 would recommend and will be returning if i ever need another one rebuilt

Update, Astro Transmission Parts quit working on my transmission and put the parts in a box. All based on my review that reduced their 5 star rating. It's too bad because their reputation was of a higher standard. As a Army Veteran of 30+ years I became accustomed to people doing what they said they would do, in my opinion, this business lacks integrity. Therefore I advise if this business is your choice, beware.They have had my 2007 Dodge Ram 2500 6 speed transmission and transfer case since January 17/18th. One month in their shop. I hope it is shifting like new when I get it back but I have a feeling they are going to hit me up with a bill that is more than the truck's value. I will update after I have it back so more to follow. At this time I cannot in good conscience recommend Astro Transmission Parts.

This is the best place for transmission parts. We have rebuilt several transmissions with our lawn and landscaping company trucks, and this is where we always get our rebuild kits. Thus is a small shop right off the road. Go check them out for all your transmission parts.

From the phone calls to the actual work it was all top notch, It was nice to talk to Jerry (The builder) an not feel like I was rushed off the phone.I will not take my business anywhere else an the ZF6-650 they rebuilt for me, shifts great.Absolutely recommend, great people great work.

I'm confident it's the only company left in the state of Florida that still focuses on manual transmission rebuilds and parts. Thankfully they were only an hour away from me so I made a trip to grab a special parts kit for my Ford T18. On top of having it in stock, I was given a little discount. The customer service staff were nice and they seem to know their stuff. Hoping these parts are good quality and won't fail me like the Chinesium in other kits. Would highly recommend!

Took my mustang gt s550 to get work done on my MT-82 manual transmission. After taking my car to several shops and them not being able to find out what the real issue was, these guys were able to locate the problem within days and rebuild my transmission rather than just telling me I had to buy a new one. They fully repaired my transmission and sent my clutch back to McLeod to be rebuilt as well. My car runs just as well as when I bought it, if not better. Definitely recommend these guys especially if you re dealing with these tricky MT-82 s that nobody else seems to know how to handle.

We have had 2 rebuilts done here over the past 10 years in two different vehicles and never had an issue. They are super friendly, willing to answer all questions and concerns. I highly recommend them.
