PHD always does a great job at my vehicles. These guys are honest and knowledgeable. If the car problem is just a simple burned fuse, they wouldn't come out with something else to try to get you. This is very important to me, because most often we don't know what the problem is and we have to trust the mechanic. The owner Phil is a really nice guy!

Our AC was out in our 12 year old car. Assuming it was the compressor, I got quotes from multiple places. PhD had the best price so I took it there. Phil inspected it, noted it was out of refrigerant and rather than assuming the compressor was bad, properly evacuated and refilled the system. $69 out the door. If/when it leaks, he'll then repair what's needed, but it was very courteous to not assume it was the compressor and not just go ahead with the more expensive fix. He earned my trust and respect. In addition he provided some guidance on a few other things I planned on fixing myself. I'll go back when needed.

Awesome service!!! Recently got my brakes replaced but they were still making noise indicating something was off. Brought it to a mechanic THREE separate times about this and was told it was nothing. The FIRST time I brought it here, Phil found the problem and fixed it. They are detail oriented and fair priced, I will be coming here from now on with all my cars needs.

Cannot even express how happy I am with these guys, recommend by a friend to take my 99 Jetta TDI in after an episode. They communicate very well with you and go above and beyond, also extremely reasonable on the money! He even fixed the ashtray that's been jammed since I bought it... Phil is awesome!

I was charged way less than the dealership. When we weren t sure of what my car s issue was Phil started from the least expensive repair and was willing to get it completed quickly. PHD is a great place to take your vehicle for service or repairs. They are very fair and never try to sell you something that is not needed. I have gone in thinking I needed work done only to be told that it was not needed. Other mechanics would have done the work to make the money. Highly recommend!

Phil is AMAZING! Every shop I called wanted to charge me at least $50 to check my transmission fluid level, but Phil didn't even charge me and diagnosed my issue! Thanks Phil!

Not only did they take care of the maintenance to my car but they found the cause of an A/C leak that other mechanics couldn't find and did it in a short amount of time.
