I called them for a head unit install on an 04 f250. They quoted me 1 1/2hr labor. I was going to do it myself but figured if it was that quick why not let them do it so it was professionally done right. I even already had the factory radio removed for them to make the job easier.I get there and everything seemed fine. It was when the job was done I realized i made a mistake. They charged me 2hrs labor (I guess it's my fault for not asking how much labor was. It's $120hr) they charged me for a dash kit and wiring harness. The bill was almost $350 for a simple head unit install. Ok that's pretty pricey but whatever.I get in the truck and the head unit is hanging half out the dash. They tell me my truck isnt built for a double din and that's the best it can fit. Why they didn't tell me this up front considering I'm sure as professionals they've installed doubled dins in an F-250 before.So I then go home and see they didn't use the dash kit that they charge me for and instead used Velcro on my dash and my head unit to try to hold it in place. Then I see they kept the aftermarket steering wheel control box that was attached to my head units wiring harness since my new truck didn't need it. So they stole that on top of charging me for the dash kit they didn't use and two hours of labor to Velcro in my head unit.I at home trimmed my dash bezel and with a $14 dash kit off Amazon installed the unit properly in a out 30 minutes. I added photos of their Velcro job. Would not recommend ever using them to anyone.

My Ford dealer recommended A&B. I submitted a form request through their website for pricing; again via email; then recently I gave them one more shot and left a voice mail. Never got a reply from any of those requests. I've already taken my $1,500 car stereo upgrade budget somewhere else. Poor sales strategy on their part. A courtesy call back would have garnered at least 3 stars in my review here. It's the difference between being a great local business vs being just another indifferent one.

Had my tints, LEDs, and train horns done on my suv then took my wife s car there for tints because they did an awesome job. Great staff and the owner bill is a stand up guy. Will be returning for more work to my suv and any other vehicles I get in the future.

There is absolutely no way I can avoid placing a review for my last experience with A and B audio. To start, Steve is the man! And not too mention Santiago who executed his skillsets perfectly on my tonneau cover for my Jeep Gladiator. This was no easy task as I've been to three other places to get a cover for my jeep. The problem wasn't the cover, it was trying to install one without removing my Chase rack (light bar). In my opinion, this bar changes the entire look of my Jeep Gladiator and I wasn't about to remove it just to have a tonneau cover. The other places turned me away, and said it can't be done,but not Steve, and not A and B. Now it did take 3 or 4 trips to get this figured out until they found the perfect cover with the perfect fit. For anyone complaining about 4 hour installs lasting 6,7, or 9 hours,so what. Make arrangements, expect the worst-case scenario, but most of all,be PATIENT! It's your vehicle that you're pouring hundreds if not thousands of dollars into, don't you want it done right? I can't say enough good things about that place, the crew,and their unwillingness to give up. Thank you A and B audio, I'll be back and I've already sent some other people your way.

Late review, but we were just talking about projects we've had done on our house that actually went well and remembered our TV room surround-sound system installation which A&B did 10 years ago! It sounds great and has worked perfectly for 10 years of daily use, knock on wood. The professional team did the ceiling wiring in tight sweaty attic quarters, hid the wires in the wall, showed us how to use the system, etc. Very few of the household improvement projects that we've embarked upon the past 10 years have gone as well as this upgrade, highly recommend A&B.

These guys know what they are doing. Classic cars can be difficult but they customized everything beautifully. I had a sound system and a horn installed. I will be going back for more work in the future. Price was very reasonable and fair for the outstanding attention to detail. Thank you A&B!

Honestly, most audio places are not very customer service oriented but this location made me think differently, came in for a quote on window tints and the same day got them installed. The said they would take 2 hours and on the "dot" they were done 2 hours later. Very pleased with results too!

I had a complete new stereo system installed here a few months ago. Since then, I had 1 rear co-axial start rattling around the rear door and almost fall out entirely. That didn't bother me too much, but what happened with my front speakers is completely unacceptable.... I had them install a pair of Morel 6.5" components. I specifically asked that they dynamat the door speaker area. I was pretty sure I paid for this especially since my final invoice came in about $200.00 more than the original estimate. I noticed the front mids never had much midbass, and lacked any kind of punch for a 6.5" woofer. Well just last week one of my mids up front started making a popping sound. I decided to remove the front door panel myself and investigate. I was shocked to see that no dynamat was used! Also, the speaker adapter plate didn't even cover the whole opening, and the tweeter mount section wasn't even sealed off! See the enclosed picture. I decided to swap out the mids myself and install new ones properly with some sound deadening material. See additional enclosed pic of the new mid I installed. Now my front stage sounds great! I'm amazed at how horrible the front mids were originally installed, and the fact that they used no dynamat when I specifically asked for it. I would avoid this place at all costs.

Got my marine stereo here and she is a beaut with remote! Actually she's got a bit too many features. lol They also offered a great price on tinting my boats windows ... I decided not to so??? on that there. Staff is knowledgeable, helpful and ready to discuss your audiophile needs.

I see some bad reviews on here and I cannot speak on those situations. But as for me I enjoyed my experience here and felt they were honest. I am a young woman and I m so used to car guys trying to take advantage of my limited car knowledge. I went in thinking I needed new speakers and was ready to shell out the $500. But I also wanted them to double check the wiring because I knew there was a small chance it was something minor. But I don t know what wiring looks like ya know? So rather than take advantage and lie to me to sell me new speakers. They called me back an hr later and were like it was a loose wire, the speakers are working again I drive a 20 year old car so grantid my audio will never sound amazing but they made it sound better than before the wire went loose and only charged me $100. The guy at the desk was really nice too. I will come back again when I need more audio stuff done :)

These guys are absolutely awesome. Have had three vehicles serviced through this company and every time it is a work of art . Steve, the manager up front is great. My most recent service with the alarm as well as the music installation and the interior lighting absolutely 100% professional. I strongly recommend these guys over anyone in the Pasco Pinellas County area for audio window tinting and any mobile needs out there..

Had an install in my Sierra that was garbage and without hesitation they were able to accommodate me right then and my truck was done before the end of the day. Always quality work. There s a reason I keep coming back to these guys. A+ fellas

Everyone at A&B knows what they're doing. I called before I went to the store & described what I wanted done. I was assured that the work could be done fairly quickly. When I arrived, we agreed on the scope of the work and the price. The job was done quickly and VERY professionally. I am well pleased with the quality of the work that was done and with the condition of my car when they returned it to me. I can also recommend their waiting room/coffee shop. A nice latte on a cold rainy day? Life is good!

Had my friend order an amplifier and speakers. Everything showed up on time except they ordered wrong amplifier. Told them we had an event coming up and needed it ASAP, they assured it would come on time. We were told it was shipped like 5 times just to find out it was backordered weeks later, a few days before the event. They told us it would take 2-3 days but they would try to overnight it, told us they had no tracking number. They made a mistake and made the absolute minimum effort to fix it. We would've split overnight shipping or just paid for it outright. Just straight excuses. Won't ever be back nor would recommend to anyone else. Could've gotten same stuff in two days from Crutchfield, with a tracking number, took them almost a month. I've worked in retail and I know the lengths decent deal makers will go to keep good customers and A&B ain't it.

Absolutely horrible customer service.My appointment was for 9AM. I showed up at 8:45AM and didnt see a sign of life until I called the place at 9AM. The worker who answered the phone said "The front door isnt open?", and I replied "No. I'm standing outside and the shutters are still down. I was instructed to be here 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment at 9AM." He said "whoops, sorry. I'll open it." No big deal.I then proceeded to drop off my vehicle at the agreed upon scheduled time, 9AM . Was then told by Steve that it would take 4 hours. I was shocked because originally I was told 45 min to 1 hour by a third party source, but whatever. Probably a miscommunication, no biggie. I had to have the work done. I thanked him and apologized for my shocked disdain, as it was a surprise to me and I had to take care of my two kids. Thankfully I had a family friend who was able to pick me up so I could go home and watch the kids while my wife went to work.I called at 3PM, 6 hours after the fact, and Steve picked up. His response was "Oh yeah, he told you it would take til the end of day when you handed him the keys." which NO ONE told me nor notified me of, and I handed HIM the keys! I said "No one said that to me at all... but wait, you told me it would take 4 hours?" to which his response was "Yeah, exactly. INSTALLATION takes 4 hours. It should be done before the end of day." I was at a loss of words and felt helpless. There was nothing I could do. Thank God my mother was available, otherwise I don't know how I would have gotten back to their shop at 6PM, as now this "4 hour installation" has turned into a 9 HOUR INSTALLATION. That's not even the worst part....So my mother took me and my kids over there around 5:40pm. I walked in, Steve looked at me, and continued to talk to his coworkers. After about 6 minutes standing there, he finally used me to come to the counter to finalize & pay for the service. The only thing I say to him is "Why didn't you call me to tell me this was finished?" which he responded with "Oh, well we just completed like 10 minutes ago and we're about to call you." I couldn't believe it. And I realized why he waited, because after I got my receipt, I read that the shop would have charged me $35 a day for them storing my vehicle after hours. Had I waited for him to call me and not just shown up 20 min before they closed, they would have charged me more money.I will never use this place again. People please beware.

These guys are Crazy! I called them on a Wednesday hoping to get an appointment for the following week and they installed a boat headunit on site the FOLLOWING DAY. They did a great job. They even did a custom fit. Absolutely great business especially if you are here locally.

Team did a great job. There was a quirky behavior of a backup camera that was due to factory recommended wiring. I brought the car back in and they came up with a solution and fixed it quickly. Happy to work with them again in the future.

I just had my second vehicle tinted... It came out great! And the staff was great! I had my truck tinted over 4 years ago and it is still perfect! Lifetime warranty and they've been in business for over 20 years. I highly recommend A&B Audio.

A&B Has been my choice to get work done since i got my first vehicle 9 years ago, honest, reliable, timely, and always professional from the customer service to the job itself. Staff is knowledgeable and willing to help point you in the best direction for what you are going for. And in the very rare instances something has gone wrong later on the owner is quick to get it handled.

Purchased there 5 times over the last 6 years. Six years ago, $1500 purchase, excellent service, great work, awesome people. Gotten progressively worse over the years. Most recent was a few months ago. Attitude and service was lousy, won't be back.

This place is great, and the staff are Absolute Professionals. The food at the Cafe' would be reason enough to return (I recommend the steak quesadillas; they were out of this world), but the quality of the job and the ease at which they were able to assemble an off-the-shelf product, purchased online and brought in, no less; is what really sets A & B apart.Everything works (Back up cam, blue tooth and stream-casting of the phone)! And they ask your permission and advise of any costs before moving forward with the job. Customer service A+++ I will be back for more upgrades in the future; Buy here with Confidence. :)
