Albert is absolutely a master mechanic! We brought our jeep in to be worked on and had amazing experience! Albert was on it, sending us updated photos of how everything was going. Called us to let us know of any recommendation on parts that need replaced while he was repairing the jeep. He even showed us the bad parts that we have replaced! He uses OEM parts, which is great! I would recommend him to anyone!Services: Engine repair, Auto maintenance

All the reviews are true! Albert just did a major repair on my 2015 Jeep. I needed new lifters/risers and I also had him do the spark plugs. When I first took my Jeep for Albert to check out, he also noticed that my water pump was leaking bad. Albert is very knowledgeable, honest and not pushy. He kept and showed me the old parts and what was wrong with each. He takes the time to explain the repair process and gives advice on proper maintenance. You can tell he just loves what he does and loves provviding great service to his customers! I highly recommend Albert and will continue to use him for my auto repairs!

Albert who s the owner and mechanic of Unique Automotive Repair is the absolute best. He is thorough, honest and so knowledgeable. My car broke down on the weekend and he answered my call on a Sunday and was reassuring and helpful with having the vehicle towed. Then every step of the way he stayed in touch and explained in detail everything that was wrong with the vehicle. Honestly this has been the best experience in my life. I have even referred family and friends to him. Good Mechanics are hard to come by and Albert at Unique Automotive is Great and Trustworthy mechanic.

I was referred to Unique Automotive Repair by my mother who spoke very highly of Albert. After coming in for a routine oil change, I can confidently say that I will be a returning customer. He handled my Jeep Compass with care, and even went so far as to personally give me an itemized list of maintenance that I should carry out in the coming months. Albert is the epitome of attentive, personable, and experienced in his craft, and I m so thankful to have found someone whose knowledge and passion for cars is thoroughly shown through his work.

Honestly the best mechanic experience I have ever had. I was referred by The Jeep Lab for some valve gaskets replacements and new spark plugs. Albert was present, informative, and communicative during the entire process- even going as far to give me a number I could text and ask questions or for updates at anytime. He even went as far to open up the hood and provide education about specific parts and what exactly he is working on. Another thing that puts this shop above and beyond is the price transparency. Albert asks for your budget and work inside it at all times, working with you from highest priority needs to maintenance wants. Best part is that after all was said and done, I even came in under budget. Happy to finally feel at ease when my car has trouble instead of having to scramble to find help. This is my shop for the foreseeable future (and let's be honest I have a Jeep so I'll be back soon. )

Amazing. I was able to finally find a true mechanic. No one would work on my 1989 Jeep YJ. Very few are still able to work on this year vehicle without a computer needed. Simple old fashion mechanic needed. I was so lucky to Alberto through word of mouth.He was excellent in diagnosing the problem. I brought my car for a big repair on my BMW 328D Xdrive, for which Albert performed an outstanding job fixing/repairing the case transfer . Albert keep me posted day by day by sending me pictures and, also explained me step by step on progress made. I have been looking for a mechanic I can trust since moving to the Tampa area several years ago and could not be more satisfied with Unique Automotive Repair. My 2004 Jeep had not been serviced in many years and I needed to have a thorough servicing done, especially since the engine check light came on recently. Albert is by far the best mechanic I've worked with since the early 70's when you could trust your local gas station. He is extremely knowledgeable, professional, courteous and responsive. He kept me informed every step of the way of what he's found and what was needed to be done. His work was impeccable and I plan on having a very long relationship with him servicing my vehicles. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I recently had the pleasure of getting repair work done on my Jeep at Unique Automotive Repair, and I must say that my experience was outstanding. The owner, Albert, went above and beyond to make sure that my vehicle was in top shape, and I couldn't be happier with the service I received.One of the things that stood out to me was the great response times on any questions or issues that arose during the repair work. Whenever I had a concern or question, Albert was quick to respond and always kept me updated on the status of the repairs.Another aspect that impressed me was the detailed photos that were sent prior to the work being done, which allowed me to see the condition of my Jeep, specifically the clutch disassembly. This attention to detail was exceptional, and it gave me confidence in the quality of the work that was being done.Albert also took the time to provide me with a detailed explanation of the pros and cons of the current condition of my Jeep and suggested repairs. This level of transparency and honesty was greatly appreciated, and it allowed me to make informed decisions about the repairs needed.Finally, I was impressed by Albert's fairness when it came to pricing. He didn't double charge for labor like a dealer would have done for components already removed/dissembled for another repair. For instance, he replaced my rear main seal for only the cost of actually replacing the seal because the transmission and clutch were already removed for the new clutch. This level of integrity is rare to find in the automotive repair industry.I highly recommend Unique Automotive Repair for anyone in need of reliable and high-quality automotive repairs. Five stars! Great, friendly, reasonably priced service. Will only fix things that need to be fixed. We were referred by jeep lab for an oil leak, as well as some other general maintenance. Great attention to detail, received my car back clean, received frequent updates and photos. Highly recommend Albert for your jeep and bmw needs!

I left this place with a smile on my face, not just because my car was treated with care but because at the end of my service i realized i ve found a great mechanic and a friend. We are 20years apart in age but this guy Albert is awesome , so much wisdom and knowledge and great conversation and interaction and i instantly saw why why my family from grandmother to uncle has been coming to this man for 9+ years. definitely amazing work and has perfected his craft incredibly well. Check him out if you want an honest and humble and incredible mechanic, I cannot say enough but I will end this with I will always come back no matter what vehicle I have

Albert is the man! Brought my jeep to him with an oil leak with suspicions of the rear main seal being ant fault. Albert confirmed my suspicions and we decided to throw a new clutch in as well. Fantastic mechanic and shop! I took my truck in to have a few things looked at. Albert diagnosed exactly what was going on and gave me a detailed analysis of what was wrong and not wrong with my vehicle. Prices were reasonable and I'm glad I found a good mechanic.

What I want to compliment Albert on, the owner of Unique Automotive Repair... there isn't enough space in this Google review box to type out all the amazing and positive things! So I will try my best to keep this review short and sweet. I reached out to Albert after he came highly recommended from the Jeep Community. A longtime (previously trusted) mechanic told me me engine was shot and that I was driving a "ticking time bomb" and I would be better off trading it in because there was nothing that could be done for the well known ticking/clicking engine problem that happens with the 3.6L. I checked out his reviews, and I was SOLD. It was clear that he would be the best choice to go to for a second opinion. Albert is a real life mechanic angel, haha! As a woman, you are not always taken seriously when dealing with issues regarding your vehicle, let alone a mechanic taking the time to not just list everything thats wrong but explaining and showing you the root of the issues, how things work, and how they need to be fixed. Albert not only fixed my jeep and restored my engine back to pristine condition; he went above and beyond in not only customer service, but education! He communicates with you through the entire service. I almost felt like I was there working on my car with him LOL. I now not only have my jeep back driving beautifully, I feel like I gained knowledge in understanding my vehicles engine and everything that was wrong with it. Not to mention he lays everything out on the table and is very transparent with pricing so that you are able to make a sound decision on moving forward with a plan that works best for your finances without feeling pressured or even shamed if you choose not to move forward with a service. While car problems are never fun (and Jeep Wrangler people know this better than anyone), I am almost happy that this happened. The one positive thing that came from the horrible ticking/clicking noise and needing new lifters, rockers, and an exhaust camshaft was this: not only have I found an awesome mechanic who is amazing at what he does, but a trustworthy and CARING man who you can count on to have you and your vehicle's best interest.

Albert, the owner, is a true professional. I took my 2018 Genesis G80 in for maintenance and was impressed by his level of responsiveness and how candidly he spoke to me about the issues with my car. Service was quick and his prices were fair. I cannot recommend this place enough!

a friend of mine recommended Unique Automotive Repair, based on the premise that the owner is honest and experienced. this did not only turn out to be true, but he also fixed up my car at a reasonable price, which I was going to sell. I couldn't be happier with service I've received and the way my car is running. if I could, I would give him 10 stars our of 5!

Been searching for a good mechanic for so many years for my Jeep Wrangler. Someone who will listen, communicate with, do the job right. Albert was referred to me by a fellow jeeper. When I called he took the time to hear me (I don't get that at the dealership) When I met him I knew he was THE ONE. He took time to explain, I learned that he is very experienced, very neat and clean, he has all the tools, we have great communication. He also use OEM parts. He really enjoys doing what he does and it shows. My jeep runs better and my engine looks nicer (dealership did sloppy job) which I won't get into details...I used to feel the dealership would steal my money and I never knew if the work was ever done properly (looking back it never was) but with Albert I know it's all legit!!!! He is truly a one of a kind guy, i'am relieved I've found him and most of all I found a new friend! I actually look forward to coming back again and again for all my maintenance. the owner is chatty and explains everything he does, step by step. after an oil change, he inspected my 2014 Jeep Cherokee (190k+ miles ) for free and gave me some tips on how to prolong its life. I felt like he listened to my needs and performed a service accordingly.

My 99 Jeep was having some issues, "check gauge" sensor was on, lights were going dim, running rough. I brought it in to Unique Automotive as I have taken my Jeep there before and have ALWAYS been very pleased with their work. I explained I did not want to rush their work, but if there was any way to get this done in one day ( I brought it in on a Thursday night) I would greatly appreciate it because the next day (Saturday) was opening day of the hunting season and I had plans to go. If not I understood. Dom and Albert are AWESOME !!!! I did not expect that it would be accomplished as I was asking for a "rush job". They identified the alternator had gone bad, and identified that the battery was a smaller one than I should have with the accessories I had on my Jeep. (Extra lights, several!)Mid day I got a text from Unique explaining where they were with the repair, and estimated "Yes, it should be done today".Very pleased to say I was able to pick it up by end of day, drove off with my "baby" purring like a kitten. YET AGAIN, they took care of my repairs with excellent service and customer satisfaction. Rarely have I ever said "I trust my repair shop" UNTIL I CAME TO THEM !I have recommended them to my neighbor and she reports the same experience when she was not comfortable with what she was being told at another repair shop.I can not say enough about the comfort I have when I need a repair, and knowing my "baby" is in their hands.(Unfortunately they could do nothing about my luck in the woods hunting. But I asked anyway . . . LOL)I completely trust them AND highly recommend them for whatever your needs are. They tell you exactly what their opinion is and have before come back with, "it just needed an adjustment, minor issue" instead of quoting a huge bill of unnecessary repairs.I take each of my vehicles there when I have a problem, (daughters Nissan Rogue, wife's Ford F-150, sons Nissan Maxima, my Jeep) as their moto says "Yes, we work on those."Thank you Unique Automotive Repair!!!

Brought our 2012 Jeep Wrangler to Unique Automotive Repair, Inc. for a second opinion after a local Tampa dealership quoted $6k for a repair. Had the Jeep back in record time with all repairs completed for 1/3 of what the dealership wanted. Great communication from this company - we even received photos as the work was being completed. There are few luxuries in life as wonderful as having a dependable, friendly neighborhood mechanic that you can rely on to get the job done at a reasonable price. Fingers crossed our car won't need repairs for some time, but if it does, we will be back!

I m very particular about who I let work on my Jeep Wrangler. So when I noticed a clicking sound coming from my engine I knew the lifters and rockers likely needed to be replaced. Unique Automotive Repair was recommended to me by another Jeep enthusiast. After talking with Albert (owner/operator) for a few minutes I could tell he was extremely knowledgeable, particular about the quality of work he does and thorough in how he diagnosis the problem/solution. Additionally, he takes a lot of pride in his reputation to provide exceptional service at a fair price. He kept me updated throughout the repair process so there were no surprises. He even showed me the worn/damaged parts and explained what caused the problem. I trust Albert s expertise and honesty and will take my Jeep to him for any and all repairs from here forward.
