Okay my friends let me share with you something that could save you a lot of pain at Tampa Airport. If you are using their parking garage make sure you know if it's economy or long term. Both have same colors. I spent 45 mins walking in purple of ECONOMY when I was parked in purple of LONG TERM. Yes I took a picture and yes got the little paper near elevator. However didn't realize I parked in long term. I also don't like the fact no one patrols the parking garages kind of scary. So ladies have your keys out and stay alert. I eventually called for help on the phone and she nicely assisted me. I had to go back to terminal to get to long term. Btw it's $20 maximum for daily parking. Cost me $60 had car there from Sat 7am- Mon 4pm.

TPA -Economy Parking Garage - Fabulous. Tampa's Economy Parking Garage is top of the line and very easy to navigate. It's very easy to get a parking ticket when you enter and very easy to pay when you exit with live personnel at booths or automatic pay booths.

Tampa airport parking. This is an amazing place. Economy parking is very convenient. in 6 minutes the new shuttle will take you to the entrance of all gates.

Unfortunately, I have to give one star, which is not deserved.Incredibly shady business practice. My flight was canceled while waiting at the gate. I went to retrieve my car within ~3 hours of my arrival and when leaving the parking garage was given a slip that showed that showed my arrival just 3 hours earlier and was instructed by the agent to contact TPA Economy Parking via email to receive a refund. Was then told that no refund would be given. I would have been happy to pay for the 3 hours, but instead they chose to lie to me at the location only to then keep my money.

I nearly always find a spot near the elevators. Last time I went I parked on the roof and was happy that they added solar panels that you can park under.

Went out of town for a week. Booked Economy parking online; received email QR code. Easy Peazy driving in and leaving Purple Parking. The Sky Connect Tram ride to and from the airport, is quick and efficient. Great remodel of the Airport Center Concourse.

We left Sarasota at 12:30 today arrived at Economy parking using our Sun pass Pro at 2:00. No traffic in airport shuttle was short trip. Got through gate and then TSA pre check and are sitting at our gate in C section at 2:35. Flight leaves at 4:35. Unbelievable. My hunny got me a drink. Vacation has started

Great garage on airport property with moving walkways and elevators to terminals. Camera surveillance for car safety. It only took me 10 minutes to get from my car to the airport terminals. Just make sure you write down the color of the garage section & the level you park on and the number of the row (posted overhead on the pillars, so look up), otherwise it will be tough to find your car when you return. Get the QR code required for entry by booking and paying online and save the confirmation email with the QR reader code in your phone so you can scan it for entry. You will need to scan the same code to exit as well, so don't delete it after entry. For those with SunPass, there are dedicated entry lanes for SunPass, but no live attendants here.

The parking garage is great. I used the pay ahead online thing for the first time. It was great coming in, but it was very unclear on what lanes to use to scan your way out. I went to the wrong line right next to the customer service line, and the lady didn't even look at me. I honked my horn, and she still did not look at me. I backed out of the lane and pulled into hers, and I got the most piss poor attitude I have ever seen. The first thing she said is that ALL lanes had scanners, and now I would have to spend 10 minutes of her time doing it manually. Big deal!! It is your freakin job sitting in the line called "customer service". Oh, you also lied because obviously not "ALL" lanes have scanners. Please put signs stating what lanes to use. This was January 7th at approximately 7 am. Older lady who needs a new job!

Everything was find except the checkout. No REAL person to checkout with. My receipt came out too quickly to grab. Moved my car forward so I could get my receipt. There were about 15 receipt on the ground. This needs to be fixed

Good price for a covered parking garage. Plan on adding about 15 minutes to your travel time to get into the terminal proper as you take a tram to get there from the garage.

It's a garage. It has EV chargers which is great although it's only 4. Today was the first time I've gone and there was an available charger.

Whoever the customer service rep in the golf cart on the 3rd floor of the economy garage on Nov 24th at 8:10am, he saved my life by showing us an open parking spot . Thanks to him I made my flight!! Love this garage makes for easy parking and transportation to the terminal.

TPA's economy garage is a nice alternative to battling the short and long term garages at the terminal.Always plenty of parking and easy access via the sky shuttle. It's the only place I park at now.

Worth the trip. It s off the airport but the shuttle train is quick and clean. Saves about 40% compared to regular long term parking.V Please click the thumbs up button below if this was helpful to you!

OK so they advertised that it is great for electric cars with free charging. Of the thousands of parking spots there were maybe five electric charging spots. What s worse is they are completely unsigned you have to drive around and around and around to try to find them. Finally after three phone calls to the parking lot authority they were able to guide us to the completely full five spots out of thousands that were for electric cars.

We have parked our car here 3 times, and each time, we have returned to it just the way we left it. It's very easy to hop on the sky train to the airport, and it only takes about 10 minutes. We have only been there once that the sky train was not working and we had to take the bus. It took us about 30 minutes to get to the airport on the bus, but it was directly after a hurricane. I feel like that is excusable.

Edit: Make sure to note the COLOR of the section where you park, in addition to the section/row! There are four separate parking structures and each is a different color... you could end up having a lonnngggg walk if you choose the wrong one (take my word for it, haha!).Have used this parking twice now and it's extremely handy to have it on terminal grounds.TIPS:*Pay in advance online and it's only $10/day, plus you can use the QR code on your phone to get in and out.*Hold on tight in tram - it's FAST and whips around corners!*Note where you parked: COLOR, section, row.Sure, I might've found cheaper alternatives, but here, the car was in an actual garage, and attached to the airport with its own tram to the terminal -- easy-peasy!A useful feature when entering is to see how many spaces were available on each level.Only took approximately 10 minutes, total, to park and get inside the terminal. (Midday on a Thursday)Won't hesitate to use in the future.

I actually parked in long-term parking. Easy access to the terminal.Remember to take a card at the elevator it tells you where you parked.

Do not make reservation or prepay. You won't get refund in the event of flight cancellation or any unforeseen situation.

If you're going on a long trip I need extended parking, this beautiful garage will save you lots of money at the Tampa Airport. The tram is conveniently located making the main terminal easily accessible and about a fifteen-minute journey. It would be even better if you didn't have to take the elevators all the way to the ground floor, walk across the parking lot and then take the elevators back up to the tram. Having a crosswalk higher up to the tram would make it incredibly convenient and take about five minutes off the journey. Five minutes doesn't sound like a lot but in the Florida heat with lots of luggage under a time deadline it can make all the difference. If you plan ahead and leave yourself the time then this is a fantastic alternative to the higher prices of the other parking areas. If you really want to save money, be sure to book your parking a week or so ahead of time online and save even more. If you have a SunPass toll device, use the SunPass toll Lanes enter and exit the garage without having to stop and use your credit card.

The only reason I m giving it two stars is my flight was interrupted and I had some other reasons to cancel my trip so, I booked a Economy Parking, which I always do!!!, which I love, but for $60 for 3 1/2 days!!! they charge me $30 just to cancel it??? I would of like a credit and I could ve used it next time?? other than that I am happy with them and I m glad that there is a Tampa International Airport come on with hard times today $30 to cancel !! Reservations made the same day and two days out!!

This economy parking is better than off site parking facilities. It s about the same price but there is no waiting for a van to pick you up. The train is easy to ride back and forth to the airport and takes very little time. Just remember what color parking area you re in and what row. Take a pic of your spot if you can. We did have a small delay entering and leaving and I suggest having the original email with the original QR code, it took us a few minutes (and hitting the help button) to get in and out of economy parking but it was well worth it compared to off site parking.

This is a beautiful new parking garage "SkyConnect" that always has available parking spots. Prior to entering the garage there is signage on the left that indicates what levels are closed and where there are open spots and how many spots are available for parking. They have Sunpass lanes and regular lanes. The elevators have good signage so that you know where you need to get onto the airport tram.The tram is about a 5 minute ride to the main terminal and the trams come about every 2 minutes.There is a nice view of the Raymond James Stadium from the garage. The attached pictures were taken from level 6 during the Super bowl 2021 fly over.

Prices are a bit steep but it's the best you can do at TPA. The prepay discount is a nice little bit of help but still higher than other airports. Large capacity is nice. I've never had a problem finding a spot. Access to the terminal tram is weird and poorly designed. Example: if you park on level 5, you have to take the elevators down to ground level, then walk to the front of the lot and take the other elevators that go to the tram. All that being said, it's still my usual choice for TPA parking if my trip is more than a couple of days.

Reasonably priced compared to parking closer to the airport. It would be helpful if the section colors were better labeled but it's easy to find the car if you remember the well placed aisle and section signs.
