Sam and his team are amazing people! They are superb at what they do and they aren't there to scam you out of your money like some auto shops. My grandma, her husband, my mom, and I all trust our cars with this business.

WOW just WOW! I have found my new mechanic! First time visiting Sam and what a terrific visit. While I was there I met a lady that has been going to Sam for years and loves him because he is fair and treats his customers really well! I experienced this and MORE in my first visit to Sam! We ran into an issues, but Sam was on it and went OVER and beyond the call of duty and took care of us! THANK YOU SAM. We love you (literally)!

Sam and his team are the best! They exude expertise, explain & illustrate what the trouble is excellently. They will go the extra mile. Like using a camera with a microscopic probe to dive down into my engine & allow me to see the part that needed to be replaced and why.Sam is personable, compassionate and attentive to his clients concerns.My experience with SE Automotive was as if my big brother owned the shop.

Normally, I don t leave reviews. However, this establishment deserves more recognition!I recently had my car serviced for an oil change and I couldn't be happier with the experience. Sam was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and he went above and beyond to ensure my vehicle was in top-notch condition. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and the prices were fair. I appreciate the honesty and transparency he provided throughout the process. I highly recommend this mechanic shop to anyone in need of automotive services. I was driving through the area when my Check Engine light came on. I stopped in to the nearest automotive place I came across. The owner told me they don't work on my type of vehicle and that I should go to SE Automotive. I did, and it was a great experience. Sam took my vehicle in, and a few hours later it was all fixed. SE Automotive will get all my business from now on. Thanks!

Today was my 1st day Meeting the head guy Sam. And I will definitely say that he earned a LIFETIME customer out of me on 1st impression.. My dealership two weeks ago sent me a list of stuff that needed "immediate attention" to be fixed on my car and one of them included four new brakes and two front rotor changes (an easy 800+ bucks that this place could have made off me). Needless to say the dealership lied on the diagnostic check because when I took it to Sam here at SE he called me and told me that I don't need any of those things when he could have easily lied and agreed with them and made money off me like The dealership was trying to charge me 800 bucks for something I didn't even need. Sam was very honest and upfront with me just meeting me for the first time and told me that I didn't need any of those things and that there wasn't even a scratch on my rotors. So I had him change my engine air filters today and I tipped him just for being an honest and upfront human being when he could have been slimy like The dealership. I definitely recommend this place ask for Sam! He's a great man & owner! Ps - If it's something that he can't handle he's quick to refer you to someone else who can!

I have been coming to SE Automotive since 2010. When people tell you that they have a good mechanic, this is the kind of place we are talking about! We have generally purchased used vehicles. We understand that they need work at times, things breakdown, and having a mechanic you can trust is essential. The owner is honest and transparent about the what is going on with each vehicle we have brought here. His work ethic is why we treat him with respect and keep coming back. Support local businesses.

I don t use any mechanics near me. I drive 30 minutes away just to get my car looked at by these men because they are so professional and reliable and they helped me out a lot. just for instants today is Friday they close at 5 PM. Sam the owner is very professional and honest. It is hard to find a good trustworthy mechanic and the first impression of Sam is more than that. I would recommend Sam to anyone who is needing a car repair and wants an honest, reliable, trustworthy, reasonable pricing, and professional mechanic then go to SE Automotive. I will be a repeat customer and refer anyone to him that ask me for automotive repairs.

If you re ever in need of a professional, honest, trustworthy, super knowledgeable and legitimate mechanic, look no further. Sam has earned my patronage and trust, and I will remain a loyal customer. I ve been to him on more than a few occasions just this year, and every time he s been spot on with the diagnostic, patient enough to explain what the issue is, and always ensured his work was efficient and effective...and didn t break the bank. It s hard to come across decent people in general, but a good mechanic is a unicorn, and he s one in the flesh. Wow, blessed that I was able to find a honest and knowledgeable guy like Sam. We drive a Mercedes C300 and I was having issues with the battery been drained. The dealer wanted to charge me $150 just to diagnose. I called couple of other mechanics in my area of Wesley Chapel and Land O Lakes and they were to busy to see me and it will be couple of days before having the chance to bring the car. Also they wanted to charge me from $100 to $125 just to look at my car. Sam was super busy but told me he will check the car for free in the morning and then let me know the diagnosis. To my surprise he called me when he said! But the shocking part was that he told me the quick fix he did to fix the situation and did not wanted to charge me for his diagnose because it was something simple . He went in details about the problem and what he did find the problem and fix it. Wow, I live 35 miles away and I bet I will pass hundreds of mechanic shops on my way to him. But no way I will use someone else in there future. Trust is something very hard to find while dealing with mechanics. And I did find that with Sam and his team. God will bless people like him. Sam has always taken great care of my car and has always been honest which is hard when working with some mechanics. Prices are great and so is speed of service. Highly recommend.

I'm so glad our family found Sammy at SE auto , he's kind , honest and very trustworthy. He has taken care of both of our vehicles and always gets us in and out of the shop very quickly. Prices are very reasonable compared to many other shops . I used to take our vehicles to the dealership but realized prices were very inflated and we simply couldn't afford it. We are very grateful to this shop keeping our cars care affordable and accessable for our family.

To Start off, if I could give more than five stars I would. I personally was in a bad situation with my car, to where the engine actually ended up throwing a rod (Not due to negligence). The gentleman at this repair shop were very professional, and made a deal that I couldn't pass up. Even better than Hyundai themselves. I had a 2010 Hyundai Genesis coupe 3.8 track, and this shop alerted me on everything that looked like it needed replacing. Honestly, as they told me about the items I could tell they weren't trying to cheat me out, because I could remember having problems with each of the components. Sam was especially amazing, making sure the car was in as good of working order as he could before releasing it back to me. Honestly If you are looking for a shop that you can trust, and that they won't steer you wrong, then this is definitely the place. They made sure I was comfortable with everything before going ahead with any extra steps or processes. Again Highly recommend this amazing shop!An amazed customer!-Liam Frederick

Sam is the absolute best. He and his staff have taken care of my family's cars for so many years. There is no other place we, or our friends, would take our cars. He is a genuinely good person who just happens to be exceptionally knowledgable. SE Automotive is always fair, trustworthy, and top-notch. You will not be disappointed by taking your car to Sam.

We have been taking our vintage Volvos to Sam and Soto for years. They are super mechanics, totally honest and trustworthy, and always timely and professional. They provide great recommendations about repairs that should be done, and when. They also make great referrals to other shops for things like body and upholstery work, which have always worked out great.

Besides the quality of work, I cannot express strongly enough the sense of trust I had in Rick and Sam. I had been putting off work on my Honda Odyssey for a while because I was worried about advantage being taken of my lack of car mechanics knowledge. Within moments of meeting Rick and then Sam, there was an immediate sense of trust. Knowing that my funds were limited, they made sure to assess my car and prioritize what was necessary and what was not to fix. There is no doubt that I will return for my non-priority items and recommend SE Automotive!

4/14/2021 Update. We're still driving classic Volvos and loving them. These guys have done a lot of work on both our 850 & S60. Still a happy customer. They always treat me well, rates are more than fair. Sam and Soto rock!Two service visits, one for my 850, the other for my new to me S60. Always treated very well. I first became aware of SE Automotive because a Sales Associate at a local dealership highly recommended them to me to replace my fuel pump. I called around and got several price quotes before making the decision, and SE Automotive had the fairest price. Ever since then I've been going there for my oil changes and other fixes. There's a guy there named Sam who always helps me with any questions, recommendations, and decisions about my Volvo. He's honest and the quotes he gives me are the lowest in my area. They've always had my truck ready in the date they said it would be completed, and they have great customer service.

This is the absolute best automotive mechanic service in Tampa. Sam is a great mechanic that understands customers as well as he understands cars. I've been a customer for years and I've never been let down. They are very honest, timely, and I've always received a fair price.

Sam is amazing and has definitely helped me out with several car issues. I would recommend this mechanic to anyone. He addresses the problem that you come to him with and is always straight-forward. They will not get annoyed with questions and give very reasonable prices and options.
