I do mobile repairs. And this morning, I ordered a $1300 power steering pump from rush truck Tampa. It has now been 6 1/2 hours. The pump has still not been delivered to me. I have a customer extremely upset because I told them I could get it done today because rush told me that they would have the pump to me in two hours, it s been 6 1/2!!! Now they re claiming at Truck centers that the part was delivered. How are you going to deliver the part without me paying for it. This is extremely bad now they don t wanna answer the phones or when they do Answer and find out it s me they want to hang up or put me on hold! I will never order parts from these clowns again!!!

Outstanding experience here at Tampa Rush, from shop foreman Mark, to John at service, to Brian who worked on my truck, prompt professional and courteous. They actually beat the time estimate on my repairs!! Great work Rush !!

Don t waste your time. Called this morning claimed they had two DEF hoses at Tampa. The guy put the part on Will Call . Get there they don t have the part. What is the point of will call if they don t hold the part. The guy behind the desk claimed it was guy in Texas. But yet I called the number for Tampa Rush Center. Drove 2 hours to get part. Just ordered online and saved 100 dollars.Just will order the parts online, won t waste my time here.

I bought a Peterbuilt in 2023 with 434,000 mls in Great condition, below market price. The truck was coming off the lease program the truck was completely checked out by Rush, then I took delivery. It's been about 20,000 miles the truck has broke down several times.I'm very fortunate to have a professional team not only did they find the issue in a timely manner, they showed me compassion as Owner Operator, the whole team worked hard to get the job done.A special thanks goes out to Sean in sales, Cody and Mike in service, Service manager Dan, the shop supervisor mark and all the Tecs, This could not have happened with out David Rye GM and The Rush Team.

Went to the repair shop with a drivable truck and it became completely unusable after being in their shop. Never could give me a clear estimate or price. It was always bill me then tell me what was wrong. This is a horrible loophole that government needs to fix. At least at a car dealership they quote you a price and tell you what s wrong with it. This place could do neither.

We had mobile service come out and look at an exhaust and turbo mounting on our 45' motor home. a different mobile repair company had come six months earlier and not only failed to repair a simple clamp replacement, but the inexperienced tech damaged the muffler flange where it was to attach to the turbo. Then we contracted Rush Truck Repair in Tampa and they sent an excellent experienced tech out who showed us the damaged parts caused by the other repair company and then the tech quickly replaced the parts as soon as the came in. While we waited for the parts we took the muffler to an exhaust shop where they welded a new flange on the muffler and then reinstalled the muffler with the help of Rush Trucks tech at our site. The turbo and exhaust were perfect again and the engine had full power.By the way this was completed last year but we are a bit late in posting our review!

Was down for almost 7 days at Rush in Tampa, they did replace all my injectors and so far, about a week, i have had no issues wth them so good job,,i also told them my truck is whistling really loud and it feels like something really big is loose and can they check the truck out. They told me the truck was done and they did a road test and can find nothing and that the turbo is just winding up, that is why it's whistling, i say no can you'll drive it again and they do, again nothing they say, went to the shop yesterday and this mechanic,, not rush,, within 15 minutes found a3 inch split in my turbo and the cross member had completely fallen apart, not 1 bolt on it. 15 minutes for him to find that and 6 says down for rush to tell me im crazy, pretty much. When they know you have no choice but to use them because the truck is under warranty thru them, i guess they know that so they know they won't lose our business.

My husband broke down and tow it there. No communication at all . He had to call to get updates. They had it for 2 weeks. Told him he needed it pressure washed u dee watch which they didn t do and tried to charge him for it anyway! They hooked up the computer and went by the codes it said and charged him 600 dollars for that! Absolutely terrible service and communication!! Will never get any more of our business at any of the rush locations!!! Horrible experience!!

Every time i come here to get parts for my truck i give them the VIN# they look up my truck so i can get the proper parts for my truck and they always give me the wrong parts every time!! I live an hour away and i spend more hours trying to fight these people to get the right parts for my truck then what it takes to fix the truck it self I ve lost probably over 20,000 in down time over the past two years due to these people i like to keep my truck with OEM parts and there lucky there the only peterbilt close to me. Next tuck i buy will not be a peterbilt just so i dont have to deal with these people anymore.

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP ..bought a 2020 pete with warranty truck went into limp mode from the def within 3200 miles .. Had the it checked at the TA and it shows truck has been in limp mode 115 times ..truck has to go to dealership to get checked out and they want pay for it to be towed . Ta mechanic said the Regen system is no good on the truck ..Called my salesman Billy and he don t have time to deal with it Talked to sales manager and he said I was making a mountain out of a mole hole ..I was pulling a oversized load with double escorts Truck went down on Friday and dealership wasn t open until Monday ..so I m out several thousands of dollars so far .. truck been out of service 5 days already I ve only had the truck about 45 daysFirst load with it

Initially I brought my brand new truck in here for a warranty issue. After nearly a week they find the issue but tell me the part is on back order. The difficult part is that I m 1500 miles from home, so I decided to check for myself. After about 15 minutes I found the part through another dealership. The part gets airmailed on my dime and when it arrives they pulled my truck out of a bay and let it sit there for 3 days before touching it after repeatedly day after day they would start it. The woman and gentleman working at the front desk provide no information or updates and have continuously provided false information to the point that the gentleman still is confused on what s being fix. ( this is the worst service I have ever experienced by a professional truck repair company, mind you the truck is brand new with extended warranties and only 9000 miles. This is my first negative review ever period but I must say they have earned it. Avoid at all cost if possible

Worst experience at mechanic shop. Left our truck there for 3 days to get the idle shut off and the governor taken care of as well as the APU looked at. NONE of those things were done, and they charged us $648 for labor and diagnostic with no actual work to show for it. When asked to be refunded, was told that looking at the truck costs that much! Supposedly to identify the issues . Courtney at the front desk level of unprofessionalism was through the roof, she was not able to properly explain charging us $500 for NO WORK DONE TO THE TRUCK. All we got was time wasted and walked out of there with the same problem on the truck.

I went there today 1/11/18. Was there at 12:45 pm. I wanted to look at some tried Axel they have. Walked the lot nobody came out to say hi. Walked in the sales room not a person to be found.. never has that happened in my life. Won't go back. If that's how they sell I can only imagine how they stand behind there trucks. Please if you can explain why no sales person was available. I have to give them a 1 star because you can't write a review.

I wished I never deal with those people, getting shipped wrong part, getting sold wrong part with even receipts stating the right one. Got lied that would have one next morning and got stuck another weekend. All they said they don't care they could give me money back!

Worst dealership I ever took to. They don t have mechanics, they have computer tech. They Had my Pete w Cummins n14 for 3 days. Charged $1200 just to replace speed sensor. They never test drove it.Computer was giving speed sensor code. SO when ITook it home and called a local mechanic. in 2 hours truck was fixed. Took me longer to go back to there parts department and get an injector then for him to find out the problem. Don t recommend anyone to take it there.

This is the most inept shop I've ever dealt with in 40+ years of trucking. Every time I pick my truck up from these clowns it breaks down before I even make it back to my yard. Everybody from the front desk, to the techs, to the service manager himself, has absolutely zero professionalism. I'm thinking of quitting my job just so I don't have to deal with this jalopy and the trained crew that can't make it run.Edit: The service manager stepped up and tried to make it right, but frankly, there's nothing left to salvage.

Went in with engine issues. Shop stated the DPF and DOC needed to be clean. They completed that and said it was ready to go. Went 700 miles and the same issues popped back up. Now I'm broke down on a Friday night and no shops open tomorrow. Turbo went out after I explained that it was the turbo acting up!!!! That $1500 down the drain now to wait till Monday to have a shop replace the turbo!!

The reason I've been running pete for over 40+ years is the people working there from the service desk to the mechanic that replaced my sensor fast and courteous I'd rate them rite at the top

PM service took well over eight hours. My keys and paperwork got lost for almost two hours. After found I went to leave and ended up helping the tech that came back in to find them finish adjusting the clutch. Not sure why he didn't finish adjusting the clutch before he left for the day. Odd. Staff was very apologetic and went out of there way to try to locate missing keys. My feeling is tech hid keys and went home early. Might have thought truck was staying over night. Hope to see improvements

Unlike the Rush truck centers in Nashville this one in Tampa is pretty good. The service guys are honest, knowledgeable, and do it right the first time. If you need parts, try to speak to Howard Blanco. He used to be a mechanic, and knows about everything that's on a truck. Very helpful guy. The not so good about this location is the difficultly of access with a 53, and a small drop yard.

Dropped the truck off 2 weeks ago. For minor work. Took 2 weeks. Half of it never got done. Tried to gouge me on labor everywhere they could. Didn't address half the issues I brought it in for, found other things wrong approved those to be fixed and they weren't. After it was all said and done $1500.00 sorry of over charging and found more

Nothing short of amazing service, I arrived at closing to buy a part, 2 mechanics that had left for the day returned and installed it and got me going, no after hour charges or anything! Big ups to them and the parts guy!

I my driver took the truck to this shop (2019 Pete 579) because turn signal wasn't working and the check engine light was on (like usually is every 3 days) and they kept the truck in the shop for 12 days, they fixed the turn signal and the switched the engine light off and they charged me over $1300 for parts and labor.! They said check engine light is not under warranty (on 2019. brand new truck) and they charged me more than 3 hours for labor fixing the TURN SIGNAL and they finally discovered the fuse was burnt and that was it. (I mean isn't that the first thing you check witch takes 30 seconds?) I mean those guys just don't know what they are doing or they are ripping people of thinking everybody is stupid.
