Although not the cheapest place around, they are affordable and do a good quality job. Not only did they take care of the problems that I had, but they also did a free safety inspection and advised me of other issues that I was not aware of as well as advising if the issues were serious or could be fixed at a later time, and only did the work requested. Owner was very informative and detailed in explaining estimates of work and work done. The only part of my experience that could have gone better would have been to receive a call confirming that work was not completed at the end of day and car would need to be kept overnight.

Been there a few times, once for an oil change and once for some engine work. Both times they were very upfront and didn't try to upsell. They do good work for fair prices and will definitely go back.

Robert's Automotive is an amazing shop !!! The owner is so honest and fair with each one of my family vehicles !!! Whether it's an old car, 20 year old pickup, or newer minivans, that team of workers can fix them up and get them back on the road !!!! They have even turned away a repair because they didn't want us to waste our hard earned money on trying to save an old rusted out truck !! How often do you find an honest mechanic like that ??? I tell all my friends to go there & judge that awesome garage for themselves !!!

They took on a job that nobody else wanted, charged a fair price, used all original equipment parts, and the best part is they actually care about the end result. And all work is guaranteed.

I was hoping to be greeted with a smile but instead I had to stare at the owner for over a minute before he even came over to introduce himself and shake my hand. To me this was very unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I did not get any work done here so I cannot speak to the quality of the work they do. But, being from a customer service background I was not impressed with the customer service at all.

I always use them for my malibu. They are a friendly tight-knit group of people. Fair prices, quick turnaround. I have never had a problem with their customer service or their car services. I've been going here 3 or 4 years now... Thank you Don and Andy for keeping me safe (and Amy too )

Fantastic friendly service! Knowledgeable, great prices, and best of all they didn't even attempt to screw me over like most other shops do when a single woman walks in to the establishment. I had a suspension issue and was only bringing my SUV in for a quote, but the place had such an air of a great family owned honest business and their quote was less than I expected. So I had them do the work too and now my SUV rides better than it ever did. Andy was wonderful through the whole process. When he gave me the quote he broke it down into what needed done and what could wait if I was on a budget. As long as I live in Tampa I will never use another shop again, I will be returning to Roberts for all my car needs now. Highly recommended!!! Thanks for the awesome service guys!

7/19 Update: So grateful for the careful and thorough service! And they are nice in addition to being great mechanics!3/11 Update: More work on a different vehicle. Very thorough and careful to ensure the car would be safe and mechanically sound. So grateful for such competent and caring folks.I am feeling the love. A great experience from "Uh Oh, my car won't start." (Wonder how much this is gonna cost?) to "All fixed! And! for a reasonable price." I am delighted with the service, the attention to detail and the overall experience. We appreciate supporting a family-run operation!

Definitely a keeper! There are a few businesses where honesty, reliability, trust, customer service, etc. are essential (like finding a good barber). An Auto Mechanic is also another, and Robert's Automotive is the best I've experienced in a long time. Highly recommended by a close friend. I'm so glad I took his advice! I won't go to another after experiencing Roberts!

The employees are very knowledgeably. I have been taking my cars to get serviced at Roberts Automotive going on a year and a half now and I have to give this shop a 5 star. I have always received great service and quality of work done. Would highly recommend to this shop to anyone who is looking for any maintenance service and even vehicle alignments.

Andy is super amazing and exceptionally professional. He is one of the most honest people we know and our whole family trusts him. It's refreshing to find an auto shop that tells you how it is with no extras tagged on. I would recommend this shop to everyone!

Amazing! I am so glad that I found out about this place. The most friendly and kind owner you will ever meet, along with all his employees! Prices are great and I will definitely be back and will recommend to everyone. Roberts Automotive has my business from this point on!

Roberts Automotive is the best around! Andy is honest, knowledgeable and truly wants to make his customers happy. Andy has taken care of my car needs for many years and I have complete faith in him and trust him 100%. His mechanics, in my opinion, are top notch! This recommendation is coming from a female, too!

Great place for auto repair! We get our company fleet repaired here as well as our maintenance work done. We had some bad experiences at another shop and came here. You always get a good explanation for your repairs and the work is done right.

I have a 2013 Ford Mustang. Brought it to the shop and needed it checked for what I thought was my suspension giving out. Andy and his crew took the time to go through the vehicle and fully diagnose the issue. Instead of saying it was the suspension and charging me a boat load of money to fix it, they told the suspension was fine and all it was, a loose hanger clip for my exhausts... they gave me all the information I needed to fix it and even gave me shops around the area that specializes in it!!! Love this shop! Great customer service at an affordable price! The first auto shop I've ever been to that does not care about the depth of your pocket instead, they care for the peace of mind of their customers, fully committing their time and energy into correcting the problem and ensuring your leaving with the full intent of coming back for routine check ups and any other work possible!

If there was a way to give 10 stars I would. I've been through A LOT of mechanics in my 40+ years and 20+ cars I've owned. None match up to Roberts Automotive, period. I've seen how Andy Roberts treats his mechanics and his customers first hand, and to me, that's what makes or breaks a garage. He treats everyone like family, is extremely fair on repair costs, won't do any work without fully consulting the customer and if there's any sort of "surprise" finding (we all love those calls don't we?), he works with you on a fair outcome. He's worked on multiple BMW's for me, and has an excellent BMW trained mechanic for our sometimes temperamental Bimmers. Try them!

Fantastic shop with individuals who care. Have been taking my companies fleet there for some weeks now. Will start taking my personal vehicles as soon as it is needed. Excellent place, with excellent prices, and excellent people running it.

I would give more than 5 stars, if possible. This shop checks off all the boxes: great prices, quality work, quick turn around, excellent customer service, and most importantly, a shop I can trust. Will definitely be back again and I will send business that way as well.

Fair and honest ; damn good mechanics , very accommodating as far as getting a ride to work , after dropping off my car . Update: 2/25/2023 ..A year since this original post , and I am still using them as needed , and I still recommend them .

Great little repair shop. Very fair prices, great service, and genuinely friendly people. I've not used them for any major work yet, but would not hesitate to do so.

Great people, honest, and dont try to up sell you. I was completely comfortable with the work that was done because the knowledge and professionalism used the moment I walked thru the door. I would most definitely suggest anyone to get there car service at Robert's Automotive.

Cant say enough about Andy, it s hard to find an honest and trustworthy automatic. He has always gone above and beyond wouldn t trust anyone else with my cars. We have recommended him so many times.

If i could give 10 Stars I would! Very honest, very courteous, and all around great mechanic. They don't try to sell you something that you don't need and they don't try to beat you up on the prices on things that you do. A+

I was in the parking lot in the parking lot for not even 3 minutes to go into this place of business for some assistance. As I got out of my car a guy in a black pickup truck, that I supposed either works here or is the hopefully not owner of this business screams at me to get out of his parking lot and that he will tow my car.This place is not professional and with that being said I WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY EVER AGAIN!!!
