Chad is the real deal. Took him my model 3 for a noise that was coming from my breaks that Tesla wanted to charge me 2 grand for and he fixed it within 30 minutes and for way cheaper. Check him out and he works solo out of his own home. Super impressed with his pristine garage. I recommend checking him out.

This was not terribly difficult.1.) You absolutely need a 7mm box end wrench to remove the ballast. Don t start until you get one.2.) The plastic panels are probably the hardest part of this job. A small screwdriver will remove them, but better to go to Amazon and get replacements. Remember where they go. They are different sizes and some of the panels are obscured. This took me the most time to do.3.) To remove the headlight, reach into the covered hole and look for a plastic twist fitting. A quarter turn left will free the headlight and it will come out easily.4.) A wire goes through the plastic enclosure and attached to the ballast. It is easier to remove it at the headlight.5.) Pay attention to how the plastic fitting sits on the old headlight. Remove it and place it on the new headlight in the same fashion. Attach the old wires to the new ballast.6.) Put the new ballast on the bottom of the headlight housing and thread the wires inside. Attach the wires to the housing fitting and the new headlight and reinsert. Twist the plastic fitting to the right until it clicks. Pop on the headlight cover. This would be a good spot to test the headlights to see if they work correctly.7.) Replace the wheel well covers, paying attention to where all of the plastic push pins go.8.) Replace the wheel. You are done.Good luck!

Chad was great. Quick reply via email. My wife s 2018 model S left rear door handle wasn't presenting or making any noise. Of course I m YouTubing videos thinking it was a gear or wiring so I took the door panel off and pulled the handle out and everything looked like new. Then I reached out to Chad and he said go into service mode and recalibrated the door handles. Fixed the problem. Now I m an expert on Tesla door handle removal and didn t need to do any of it. Lol generation 3 btw which appears very well made compared to the 1st and 2nd generations

The scroll wheels were in stock and I was able to pick them up immediately. Chad is knowledgeable and friendly. I'll be going back soon to get my Model X suspension module leak fixed.

Great Service offered by Chad @ ReelDealEV. Purchased a second generation replacement drivers display for my failing one on our Model S. His website did not offer shipping to Canada, but after emailing him he provided an option for that. Yes the shipping was more expensive, but not unreasonable. It arrive quickly and well packaged and the only other fees incurred were the sales tax and a $10 handling fee for Canada Post. His site provides an installation video that explains the replacement very well. New screen quality is excellent and would pursue this option again if I had to do another one.Thanks Chad for the great service!

I used Reel Deal EV recently for a repair and highly recommend them. They were very friendly and knowledgeable while exceeding expectations. I spent the better part of my Sunday replacing the instrument cluster, and am so pleased with the result. No more glare from bubbles!I am thrilled to have successfully done this myself. It was not trivial, but it was doable, and it saved BIG bucks.Thank you for the quality product, and for the DIY video. Your advice on using the pneumatic wedge was spot on.

I purchased the Generation 2 Instrument cluster from ReelDealEV for my 2015 Tesla Model S P85D and recently installed it. Chad's installation Youtube video was more than adequate to show me what to do and I took some good notes while watching it several times. The high res photos of how the connectors work were also very helpful. The only thing I would have added was for the installer to lower the steering wheel before disconnecting the power because that made it easier for me.I greatly appreciated Chad's responsiveness to my numerous advanced questions because the job seemed to be maybe above my pay grade. He was very patient with me and it gave me some needed confidence that I probably won't screw it up. It must have worked because I did not need to contact Chad during the install.I also took the opportunity to replace the OEM 12V battery with the Lithium version that ReeldealEV sells plus swapped out the cabin air filter. The IC fired up perfectly without the need to do a reset and my car did not catch on fire!Mission accomplished!Gary

I received my replacement screen for my Tesla model S in perfect condition and I opted for the Cabin Air Filter replacement at the same time.The replacement screen was identical to the one I removed including being the same Manufacturer as my original.The Cabin Air Filter was very high quality and featured a separate layer for the activated carbon. The overall quality impression was much higher than the Original Equipment Tesla one that I had removed.The installation video and screen shots were extremely helpful. I did have an initial boot up issue but it appeared to be caused by not fully seating the Ribbon Cable for the display. After verifying the connections it booted up perfectly.Great service and quality!Thanks!

I had an issue with the power seat and took it to Tesla. Tesla tried to sell me the whole seat for $2200 which I declined and reached out to Chad. Chad helped me diagnose and all I had to do is insert the disconnected shaft back into the track(quick 1 minute fix). Kudos to Chad.. just saved $2,200 + tax

I contacted Chad after seeing one of his videos on YouTube. My very-early Tesla Model S had developed a leaky instrument cluster screen.ReelDeal had just what I needed. The part was delivered in a timely fashion and installed with 4-5 hours of slow, deliberate and careful work, by me.I saved net $1200 from what Tesla quoted me, and Chad's part won't leak nematic liquid (as the OEM part did).Very pleased!Cheers and thanks, Chad!

Chad referred me to a local EV specialist in my state. Did a drivers instrument cluster replacement (sealant leak) on my 2013 Model S and brake flush. Also offered a complimentary systems / safety check of my vehicle. Happy that my Model S didn t need anything else. Honest, professional, friendly and very affordable services. Highly recommended!

I ordered a MCU replacement screen for my MX from Chad. My previous screen was bubbling and the new screen looks wonderful. Chad sent out my replacement screen over the weekend as soon as he received my order. Excellent customer service.

Chad's customer service has been excellent. The lithium replacement 12V battery fit well and is a relatively easy DIY install. I'm tackling the annual service next. I look forward to using Reel Deal for more hard to find Tesla service parts.

Easy install. The car is made to come apart and go back together. Quality part. Great screen. Amazing service by ReelDealEV. Easy to understand instructions. Just don t be like me and break the tabs on the sliding clips on the back. Still works fine, but be gentle. The sideways one doesn t just pull out. The clips flip to the side. Oh yeah. AND** make sure you leave a door open before you disconnect all the main power. I know I m an idiot. :)
