Standard facility too expensive. Prime refuses to give me my military discounts which I don t appreciate. The previous owners did. However the people are very nice, especially Amanda. She s fantastic. Was better and CHEAPER before Prime took over. $300 and $650 per month is insanity. We have 2 units but won t ever do it again when we leave.

Best storage facility I have ever been too. Excellent customer service and personable staff. I highly recommend anyone to get a unit here. Worth every penny!

The service here is excellent! I called in and spoke with Jonathan, and he got me taken care of very quickly. I had zero problems getting my things in and everyone was super helpful.

Great location if you are coming in with an 18 wheeler. No need to offload to a smaller truck. Bathrooms invariably neat and usually open. Friendly on-site staff. Do note that this is a month-to-month arrangement, so prices may increase. However Mgmt was open to discussion.

Amanda and TJ who had helped me when I had first gone in looking for a storage unit were so helpful and friendly. They had made the process so easy. The easy access outside of business hours are perfect since I'm always needing to take stuff out. Overall, the experience has been great!

Edit: added a 2nd star because after posting this I received a call from the district manager. He apologized for the lack of carts and said he would be ordering more. I did see one new cart show up before I ended up moving to another storage company due to location. They have plenty of carts at the new place.Original review: I ve had plenty of storage units over the years, and I have never had an issue with there being enough carts.Almost every time I come to this location there are not any carts available. They have 2 decent carts and 3 tiny blue carts which don t work well, but either way they are never available to use.Not enough carts.I m here now at 7pm on a Sunday with one other car in the parking lot and there are zero carts available. Mentioned it to the man working a few weeks ago and he said we have 5 carts, what do you want me to do?

Be. Very. Careful...even several long months after you've Paid In Full. Keep a paper trail. Take pictures.Take other witnesses with you.Who knows, you just might find a negative remark on your Credit Report, like I did. But I hope you Don't experience such a terrible, unprofessional, shocking and awful thing happen!No, I won't go into full detail about how they took over My Neighborhood Storage on Cypress in Tampa, and let's just say... everything went downhill, quickly. Can you imagine paying the same rate - or more - for LESS services?Better yet, can you imagine paying almost twice or more than twice the original price, in the space of less than a year?Unbelievable. Absolutely Unacceptable, especially in the midst of the pandemic.I could be wrong, but it felt like Price gouging, to me.Or worse!Why?Nonexistent: Ability to use their Truck, minus the fuel.Gone: Exceptional, Superior and Friendly Customer Service, to the point where they would come outside the office with a complimentary bottle or two of cold water to ensure that you stayed hydrated in Florida's virtual sauna. Additional complementary snacks were inside the office.Nevermore: And last but not least, free use of the Restroom facilities, in addition to the main drawing card for me: 24/7Hour Access.When Prime Storage took over, a Lot of things changed, including how often they were going to milk this cash cow by raising our rates by price gouging rates.And if we didn't put up or shut up, they were H a p p y to inform you, with creepy jeer, they were going to SELL YOUR STUFF, BECAUSE IT IS THEIR'S NOW! As if that was their sinister plot, in the first place.Absolutely despicable.But they absolutely want a raving review!My elderly father Paid them In Full. And then he and another kind soul, helped move my items to another storage rental facility. After Paying In Full, he wasn't able to access the restroom during their work hours, and had to drive off the premises to find a Public restroom to use.But Prime Storage absolutely wants raving review about how ...they care for and respect Senior Citizens?and demonstrate empathy? and go above and beyond to ensure an amazing experience? I'll lookAdditionally the Code for the door and elevator worked for a few minutes to a couple hours before needing to stop and go look and see

I highly recommend these guys if you re looking for storage in the Tampa area. I ve been renting for almost two months now with zero issues. The staff is really friendly, the whole facility is extremely clean. I can t say enough good things about these guys

Stopped in prime storage today to get some information on purchasing a storage unit and was particularly impressed by the cleanliness of the store! Amanda showed me around and went through prices with me and was extremely patient with all of my questions. 5 starts for the staff!

I have had a many storage units over the years and this place has definitely been the easiest and most helpful I ve been to. Worked with Christopher at the front desk and he was very helpful finding me the perfect unit I needed for my belongings and even got me a very good price. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for storage and recommend working with Chris for a fast and easy transaction!!

I was told it's 75$ to use the dumpster. Even if it's to throw away ONE thing. I helped someone move items into a unit and also helped them move stuff into a new unit. The stuff from the old unit had termite wings ALL over it. Her grandfathers military chest was DESTROYED. I helped her put all that stuff in originally about a year ago and it was all in pristine condition. It's totally trashed now. I advise you not to put anything wood in here. I should have taken photos to post but I didn't even think about that at the time.

Great service, great facility, Great prices.This brand makes Public Storage appear as crooks, which they are. Same size unit, with Public Storage, outdoors (in FL heat), was $70 more A MONTH. HUMPH!!!

These guys are pretty solid. I had an issue, they resolved and compensated me as well. Along with working with my schedule of work. I work all through the day so i wasn't able to come in during normal hours so Amanda had me send her the information via email at my convenience. Thanks again guys. I appreciate the level of compromise and hospitality you ever shown me. Ill recommend you guys to anyone.

Give a shout out to AMANDA! This is my first time renting a storage and Amanda made the entire process very very smooth. Both Amanda and Josh are friendly and provided excellent customer service and made me and my family comfortable and welcomed when we first arrived at the facilty. The place is nice and clean and in a very good location. I would highly recommend this location to friends and family. Ask for Amanda if you have any questions ahead of your rental. She's the best!!!

Your customer service was extremally helpful in my needs!I have never had to rent storage and they were able to answer all my questions as well as showing me everything.My only complaint is that once you sign a contract you can still go up in cost at anytime. When ever I have signed contracts it is for what you sign for, not that the company can increase your monthly when ever!

We have had a storage unit here for nearly 2 years. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Property is clean and functional. We received 5 star serve and would highly recommend them to anyone in need of a storage unit.

When I begin my search for a storage I considered what I would be storing and what my personal items meant to me. I was looking for a clean climate control unit in a good location. I begin my search by looking at some of the most popular storages and I was not impressed. To say the least, I was disappointed. I decided to go on line and look up storages in a 20 mile radius. Prime storage pop up and I looked at the website and liked what I saw and decided to go to the nearest location. I was thrilled! It was clean, in a nice area, climate controlled and the staff was amazing. I rented it immediately. I had it for two years and felt comfortable knowing my things were in good hands. I would recommend them to anyone.

I m a 25 year old women and I m an online reseller. I used to rent a unit here 2 years ago when it was Neighborhood storage and loved it! I just moved back to Tampa and rented a unit here. I feel completely unsafe coming here to get my packages to ship off!!!!! They gave me a unit next to someone that s living in their unit and blocks half the hallway with his stuff all night. Every time I come there past 7pm to quickly grab my stuff, he comes out of his unit and stares at me. I get scared and have to call someone every time I come here. I feel completely unsafe coming here. I just moved my stuff in here not even two weeks ago and have heavy items in my unit and had to have someone help me move the stuff in and now I have no one to help me move my heavy stuff out of that unit. Next time I will be calling the cops, as people living in storage units is a fire code issue and illegal!!!! I m paying over $200 a month for my unit. They need to pay more attention to what is going on here!! I believe multiple people are living in the units here, as I always see them at night around the property.

They were by far the easiest to coordinate reserving a storage unit with, their rates for the size storage unit I have (10x25) put every other place I looked at to shame, they were climate-controlled units (at a price better than non-AC locations), and their facility is much cleaner and welcoming.Basically I'm only doing this review because they were miles ahead of all the many places I looked at and they deserve to hear that.

No carts EVER. Went in and it was a ghost town, not a single person around - yet, no carts either!How is anyone supposed to use these facilities if they have provide no means to move things? Is this some kind of ploy to push us to rent out the upcharged lower level units? Seems like it!!!I will be bringing my own cart next time to move OUT of these units.

I was extremely happy with the service I received from the staff.This was the cleanest storage facility I ve ever had the pleasure of doing business with. I ve had very bad experiences in the past with other storage unit companies, but this company/location is very professional and their units are extremely clean.I highly recommend them to anyone looking to rent a unit in the area.Thank you again to the staff for your professionalism and for keeping your units spotless clean.

I never thought I d be saying this about something as ordinary as renting a storage unit but What a great experience! The person who checked me in, Jaime, took the time to show me the facility and helped me pick out a unit that best suits my needs. He told me a little bit about the company and I love that it s a small Florida-based company. It makes me feel like my money is helping support my community and other small business owners like me. And the facility itself is so clean and professional feeling. Perfect to store and show my budding small furniture business products from. Thanks y all!

David is the absolute best! His phenomenal customer service worked out some deals that help save his customers money. Everytime I go to this location its always clean and their security is amazing. Really gives me a peace of mind while storeing my stuff there. I've seen other locations with codes and such but their HD cameras let me know there is no concern of only renters being there. Their prices are competetive but the peace of mind would be worth it to me to pay a little bit more.I also really appreciate that its very well lit. Had to pull out some cards late at night and I was afraid I wasnt going to be able to see inside my unit. Not to mention again felt really safe going in there by myself.

I'm so impressed with everything about this company, and I didn't expect to say that about a storage unit company. The customer service was incredible through every step in the booking process. I got everything I wanted - an indoor climate controlled unit, 10x10, close to the door, with 24x7 access, for such a good price. And the place felt very secure.

Read through for update!!:Original review:I have been storing with this facility for almost a year now, I am absolutely satisfied with both the previous and current owners. It's very clean and safe, the staff is incredibly helpful and were thorough in explaining their new operation policies.Update:Unfortunately, my belongings were auctioned off without a reasonable amount of time or options after only 61 days of missed payments. The previous owners did not apply as many fees. The rent was $130, so that would be $260 owed, but after they applied the ridiculous fees, it was $790 to stop the auction. I got up $650 but it was not enough to save any of my high value items or my sentimental personal items from being sold off to a complete stranger. I was not even informed of the price it sold for or if I'm owed any balance over the amount owed.DO NOT store your loved possessions here.
